Istikhara is good. River is purity, kohl is insight and uncle’s wish reflects mother’s wish for you.

I am a sister who is divorced for many years, and I have not been able to find any partner to restart my life again, I made almost every dua and Quran recitation that I have come across for marriage, but in vain. I have also asked friends and family to refer me any potential match but I have not yet received any suitable match. I am nearing 40 and I would also like to have a child one day. I thought even if I cannot find another partner, I can make it in my career. But for some reason, even at work, things are stuck and I am not able to make much progress; I can see other people moving ahead but not me although I work really hard. Is there any dua to make my personal life and career move in the positive direction.

Alaykum Salam,
Best dua is an accepting heart for the Qadar of Allah even when we wish otherwise. Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) said contentment (qana’a) is the greatest wealth. Find something for which you are especially grateful and make it the emblem of your thanks for everything Allah gave you. In sha Allah He will give you more.

My father died recently. He had 2 sons 3 daughters and 1 wife. What are the shares of each? Also please make dua for my father that he gets Jannatul Firdaus and that his grave becomes spacious.
Answer:
Wa Alaykum Salam,
His wife gets one-eighth of the inheritance. The rest of it is divided amongst the sons and daughters. The male gets twice the share of the female as Allah (swt) decreed. (Qur’an 4:11).

Assalam alleikum wrwb,
In my dream I saw Sheikh Hisham and around us there were other people. I had a question for Sheikh Hisham that how is it we get close to Allah to feel Allah’s presence. I saw him get up and started to quickly fill up glasses full of water for people & I wondered why no one else got up to help then he gave me a glass of water & I asked him if I could help and he let me give to others. If I could understand the meaning thank you.

Sayyidina Bayazid was doing dhikr and muraqabah, when he heard a Heavenly Voice ask:
“What did you do for Me?” He responded, “I did dhikr and muraqabah.” The Voice replied, “No, you did those things for yourself. What did you do for Allah?”
He said, “O Allah! Teach me.”
At that moment ilhaam, heavenly inspirations, flooded his heart, fa al-haamaha fujoorahaa wa taqwaaha, “Go serve My Creation as to guide people is an action you do for Me.”

I have been struggling with a serious issue–see previous post–for over a year and half, but I haven’t found a way out despite the duas I’ve been performing (my family assists me). I know that patience is essential while tested, but as I think over this whole experience, I realize what is holding me down: relationships that go against Shari’a law.
I’ve unfortunately been in two of the kind; since, one ended, but I am still engage in an internet correspondence with a woman (Christian) that involves love, pictures, and the such. My question is what is the ruling about nikah (temporary, I am a student and/or permanent) over the internet? Can I get assist here with a “eShayk” here in case it is permissible?

It is not permissible and there is no such thing. Marriage is best so try to do it in the way that brings you true benefit.
