Dressing.

Question:

Asalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh

Is there any special dress in your silsila or i can continue to wear as i usually wear (I am a boy) after bayah

Answer:

wa ‘alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

You may continue to wear normal clothes, but in the most distinguished Naqshbandi Silsilah it is recommended for men to wear loose clothing and to cover the head. If you wish to practice further, wearing a turban and jubbah are Sunnas our Shaykhs recommend to follow, at least while doing worship.

Embezzlement

Prayer Request:

Assalaamualaikum

Someone left amanat with me and I spent it. Please pray for me to repay all the money quickly, that I’m not exposed and to not spoil my relationship with this person. And that I never repeat this kind of thing ever again.

Answer:

Waalaykumussalam warahmatullah,

Repent to Allah and return the amanat or its value to its owner in full. Nothing will clear you of this due obligation other than the forgiveness of its rightful proprietor.

May Allah help you to repay it quickly and for you not to be exposed and your relationship not to be spoilt and for you never to repeat this kind of thing.

Answer:

BismillahirRahmanirRahim

This could be medical or spiritual or both. You must ask Allah to send you knowledge of yourself and how to build yourself to who He wants you to be. Not to be a victim to the lower self, the material world, vain desires or shaytan.  Have confidence in your lord daily and ask Allah to send you teachers and healers to guide you on the Way.

cant see dream

Question:

Asalam aleikum
shaykh, i dont see dreams, and is there any solution for this?

Answer:

Wa Alaikum salaam wa rahmatullah!

Seeing dreams is not as important and being aware of your waking state of self before Allah and your journey of intentional living. Going to sleep shortly after Isha with wudu and reciting Quls might help though.

Saying "La illaha il Allah Muhammadur RasulAllah" close to death

Question:

The form of shahada, transliterated into English script as “La illaha il Allah Muhammadur RasullAllah” is not reported in any strong hadith, according to a question on Quora. Is that correct? And what is the best thing to encourage dying person to say?

Answer:

As-Salamu ‘Alaikum,

It is mustahabb (desirable) to encourage the dying person to utter the Kalimah or word of faith, so that his life will end with that and it will be the last words that he utters. It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Encourage your dying ones to say Laa ilaaha ill-Allah.” Narrated by Muslim, 916.
Also Mu`adh bin Jabal (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “He whose last words are: ‘La ilaha illallah‘ (There is no true god except Allah) will enter Jannah.” [Abu Dawud].
