Kindly convey my salaam’s to Mawlana Shaykh Hisham and the e-shaykh team. Recently whilst visiting South Africa, Shaykh Amanullah de Vos, a khalifa of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim in France, authorised me to perform and lead as well as teach a silent dhikr for the 6 Lataif. This was unexpected. I wanted to know if I could obtain Mawlana Shaykh Hisham’s permission to do this as I’m very careful about the matter of ijaza and don’t want to practice the silent dhikr of the lataif without ijaza from Mawlana Shaykh Hisham.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham replies that no one in South Africa can give ijaza to anyone except Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s appointee there, Dr. Yusuf Dacosta, who is also the first one to host Shaykh Hisham in your country.
