Astaghfirullah, As Salamu Alaikum

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Shaykh Hisham will pray for your mother’s heart to open, insha-Allah.

Calling someone to Islam, especially in the West, with the supermarket of religions always available is not a simple thing. It requires great understanding, compassion and a soft touch.  Most important it requires extreme humility. This in a nutshell, is what differentiates Mawlana Shaykh’s way of da`wah from anyone else.

Sufi Meditation is often the best opening for those who are interested in Eastern religions, in particulary Hinduism and Buddhism. Study this and it may be a useful tool for you as well as open your heart to some of the subtleties of this noble Path.

W ‘Allahu `alam,
