Dream:
assalamu’alaikum warahmatullah
I saw that a little girl was holding my hand, we were walking in a street. I could hear someone singing naat with music. Someone said listen to it but I said I won’t listen to it I will recite durood. We kept walking till we passed by some rooms. There was a room half opened. I looked inside and said to the girl look! look! There is Prophet Muhammad (sallaAllahu ‘alahi wasallam). Prophet signalled me with his hand, keep moving. We kept walking reciting durood until we reached some rooms with closed doors and I thought I was the first one to enter those rooms. I had a feeling of sahr in those rooms, hence was a bit scared. Then I heard women talking (I know them), was a bit relieved. They were in the other room with a window opening to the room we were in…
Interpretation:
audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,
wa `alaykum salam,
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓٮِٕڪَتَهُ ۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيۡهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا
{Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.} Surat al-Ahzab 33:56
Alhamdulillah, the Prophet (s) opened his door, even halfway, for you to see him. Keep making darud as much as you can, and be careful not to say “no” to anything done in praise of the Prophet (s). Listening to naat in praise of the Prophet (s) is commendable and increases one in love for the Prophet (s) which is the foundation of our believing in him and following him.
