Question:
Salam, I am wondering that if a Muslim has done zinah in his past, how can he do kuffara for that sin. Is there any way you can do tobah and ask Allah to forgive for your sin.

wa `alaykum salam,
Simply turn to Allah, in private, that is taubah. Pray 2 rak`ats sunnat at-tawbah. Admit one’s guilt to Him, repent (with regret and remorse), and resolve never to repeat it again. Speak to no one of it and move on to do more good deeds to please the Lord.
