Missing out last sajdah in prayer

Question:

Aslamualaykum

I was reading Salah at Tasbih. When I was in the last rakah I forgot to make the second sajda.

So after reading tashahud I made salaam to the right and made one sajdah and read the tasbih ten times. Would this have been the correct thing to do and is the prayer valid.
Also, I unintentionally missed out ten tasbihs in the prayer as I should have read ten more while I was sitting between the two sajdahs which I forgot to read at the end. Is the prayer valid because of this.

Answer:

Wa `alaykum salam,

In a similar post, Shaykh Senad answered:

In case of doubt, one should act upon whatever is certain. For example, if one is not sure how many raka`at he has performed, two or three and four or five, he should take the lesser number as the basis. Based on the number, he should proceed to perform the remaining raka`at and complete the prayer by performing two prostrations (of Sahw).
