Dream: Jinn Baby

Dream:

I fell asleep while nursing my year old and dreamt that i see a baby and it is mine. His curly hair looks short but it can unravel to longer hair. Then i see him with a really long thick plait to one side. Somehow i know this is a jinn baby. Then i see more jinn just carrying on with life and i start to recite Qur’an and Ayatul Kursi then they recite it with me and tell me that they are Muslim jinn. Then I think that i should recite Dua Ayatul-Kursi (i try to remember if i recited it this day). I nurse my baby and am handing the baby to my dad when the baby’s head starts growing bigger and i realize that this is a jinn! The jinn all around me are non-threatening and smiling while carrying on their activities.

Interpretation:

Audhubillahiminashaytanirajeem
BismillahirRahmanirRahim:

This is an opening to the world of jinn around you. The shuyukh of Naqshbandi speak about pious jinn that relate to the protective power of Ayat al Kursi. Wallahu alam.

Dream: Unknown Men

Dream:

My husband had a dream where he is with his father walking. His father is reciting Surat Yasin and he is listening to his father recite, then my husband saw that he is alone standing in front of a shop. Outside there are two men sitting, one is young, fair and drinking alcohol. The other is middle aged and selling bread (roti/chappati).

I myself dreamt yesterday that my brother has died (although no body) and i am crying. what do they mean?

Interpretation:

Bismil’lahi’r’Rahmani’r’Raheem

This dream can mean that the father loves the family of the prophet (as) or is one of them. There is a struggle between the two life styles (alcohol or bread). Your brother may be starting something new in his life. Your crying is your happiness for him.

Dream: The Dead King’s Cloak

Dream:

Es Selamu Alejkum,
I was wearing the dead King of our countrys cloak, a woolen one. I met a friend of mine and I told him that I was wearing it because I was in a mission. With me was the prince, the son of the king, which is alive. The cloak was the size of the late King, a liter larger than my normal clothes.

Interpretation:

Bismil’lahi’r’Rahmani’r’Raheem

wa `alaykum salam,
This dream can mean that you will succeed in getting a good position of authority but it will be little bit bigger to carry. Hasbunallah wa ni’mal wakeel is the zikr for defeating fear.

And Allah knows best.

Kaffarah for Intentional Fast-Breaking

Question:

Can you explain the different types of Kaffarah for intentional fast-breaking?

Answer:

There are different types of Kaffarah. Basically it means an expiation of one’s sins. Different ways of breaking fast will have ways of expiation: Kaffarah.

These are for two types:

1) Intentionally missing fast (in Ramadan only) due to sexual intercourse during the fast day (on condition that the person’s mind is sound, knows that he/she is fasting, it is not forced upon anyone, knows the rule that it is Haram to do it and is not a musafir to the distance that renders fasting not obligatory)

2) Intentionally missing fast (in Ramadan only) due to any other reasons besides sexual intercourse

So the Kaffarah, in short:

for (1),

they must free a slave;

If not able to:
then to fast 60 continuous days,

If not able to:
then to feed 60 needy people for each missed fast day to their fill or give one Mudd      (= 3/4 kg.) of food-stuff like rice, wheat or barley or bread etc. to each of them.

This is known in Shafi`i School only as Kaffarah Kubra (“Major Expiation”) where in other schools it is known as Kaffarah only. In Shafi`i only too, the man will have to do this, not the woman, regardless of the reason or motivation. In addition, they must also make up (Qada) of the missed day’s fast. In Hanafi, if both parties are willing to the act, they both must do Qada and Kaffarah. If the woman is forced, she is not required to, only the man, but he is still encouraged to do Kaffarah on her behalf, to cover for her.

for (2), in Hanafi and Maliki, the person must do the Qada and Kaffarah. In Shafi`i, it is only required to do Qada.
