Sunni doctrine- Halal/Haram according to sh Nazim

Question:

If something that’s normally haram makes you to see your incompleteness, etc. then not only halal but “sunna“. (m océans p20) ” They have taken their rabbis and monks as lords beside Allah[…] ” 9:31 i.e. they made the Haram, halal & the Halal, Haram.

Answer:

{One Day will the Hypocrites- men and women – say to the Believers: “Wait for us! Let us borrow (a Light) from your Light!” It will be said: “Turn ye back to your rear! then seek a Light (where ye can)!” So a wall will be put up betwixt them, with a gate therein. Within it will be Mercy throughout, and without it, all alongside, will be (Wrath and) Punishment!} (Surat al-Hadid, 57:13)

Again another attack posing as an innocent “question”, and as usual no context, not even a partial quote. Allah is watching you.

Why instead did you not cite GrandShaykh’s clear and concise explanation:

“In every action you may find ‘wajib,’ ‘sunnah,’ and ‘haram.’ One man goes to a saloon to drink; it is haram. Another goes to take knowledge; it is sunnah. The third man goes to smash bottles; this is wajib!”

Disagreeing with Shaykh

Question:

I strongly disagree with this lecture: http://sufismus-online.de/RelationshipBetweenIslamHinduismAndBudhism
I feel compelled to seek a shaykh who would not say these things. Should I discuss this with Shaykh Hisham or his representative here?

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

You may discuss with any Shaykh you like, the answer is still valid and correct. Idolatry has no place in Islam; it is shirk. You may reference the Holy Qur’an for clarification:

{Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: “Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error.”} (Surat al-An`am, 6:74)

{We took the Children of Israel (with safety) across the sea. They came upon a people devoted entirely to some idols they had. They said: “O Moses! Fashion for us a god like unto the gods they have.” He said: “Surely ye are a people without knowledge.} (Surat al-`Araf, 7:138)

{Remember Abraham said: “O my Lord! Make this city one of peace and security: and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols. } (Surat Ibrahim, 14:35)

and many more.

Dream: Dreaming about angel of death (Malak al-Maut)

Dream:

I had a dream where an angel took a very similar shape of a muslim man who’s heart stopped but he was rescued. I asked him what his name was and he answered angel Moulk (meaning angel Azreal for Bosnian muslims). I told him with the intention to help him understand human life that the best among people are those which do most good, and the worst are those which do most evil.

Interpretation:

It means someone who lost the way of goodness, so he became, as far as Allah is concerned like someone whose heart is dead. Actually you were advising your own self, to protect your spirit from losing the way of Dhikr and of helping others. And Allah knows best.

Is it a good deed to teach and a sin not to teach?

Question:

If one shows for example are recipe or a remedy is that a good deed but if one doesn’t share or teach due to jealousy and being stingy (a miser) is that a sin?

Answer:

Obviously not giving out something that you know could benefit someone in need due to stinginess is wrong and is a sin, at the very least in the spiritual dimension, and Allah knows best.

Dream: Saw a woman who is teaching me Sufism

Question:

Saw a woman who is teaching me Sufism as a princess in disguise.. hiding from the  KSA. She is from Saudi Arabia, either Mecca or Medina.. She is a Sufi, I know her in reality and she teaches me through email.. I saw her in a dream as a princess of KSA, but she hides her identity.. don’t remember why..

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

That is true and there are many such ones. She hides her identity because being Sufi is considered being an unbeliever by the Wahabis.

The spiritual meaning is that she is teaching you as a saint or representative of a saint but most are unaware of her high station. And Allah knows best.
