Dream: Shaykh Hisham at my house

Dream:

Once I dreamt I saw Shaykh Hisham in my house, he was upstairs in one of the rooms and was resting in one of the beds. I began speaking to him, I served him some food and later on gifted him with some ‘itr from Madinah al Munawwarah.

Interpretation:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

This dream can mean that your spiritual knowledge is advancing through learning from Shaykh Hisham. The parfume is sign that you love him and you speak good about him.

And Allah (swt) Knows best.

What did the Prophet (saw) do in Mount Hira?

Question:

Assalam alaikum,

Firstly, please forgive me for my lack of adab. I am a weak servant looking for heavenly support and your tawwajuh.

1. What exactly did our Prophet (saw) do in Mount Hira? I know he used to meditate, etc. but what form did this meditation take? Considering he spent days there, this profoundly affected him. Are there any actual accounts of the actual practices he performed there?

2. I have an interest in energy healing. How can I pursue this? I have taken your advice and looked at www.nurmuhammad.com and found the explanations confusing, difficult to understand and vague at best. Is there any other Islamic resource you can point me to?

3. What purpose do the lataif have in the tareeq? Again, www.nurmuhammad.com provides little information on how to activate these and their real purpose.

Jazakallah Khair & please pray for this weak one.

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,

Sayyida `A’isha (Allah be well-pleased with her) described that activity as tahannuth and tabattul i.e. worship, spiritual and devotional exercises, self-deprivation. As for modalities the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) himself referred us to his fully detailed paradigm in the Sunna and the living paradigms of that paradigm are our spiritual teachers so I refer you to their suhbas and companionship.

As for energy healing again it is a gift which a Muslim can refine by building up character and knowledge under his shaykh’s guidance rather than study from books. The lata’if are names for the different levels where the fayd or spiritual outpouring of the shaykh lead  one by the hand to the fayd of the Prophet, upon him blessings and peace. Mawlana Shaykh Hisham discusses them only very briefly in his book Naqshbandi Sufi Golden
Chain
where he says:

Through these points these saints can reach their followers at any time. Because they have the authority of these nine points, they consider all of humankind to be their followers, whether they are aware of their spiritual connection to them or not. Through these points, which are of ‘Uwaysi’ nature, they can reach and affect any human being, intercede for them, and inspire their hearts in order to direct them to the Divine Love, although they have never met physically

Dream: Istikhara Dream

Dream:

Asalamulaikum,

I have received an invite to study a very competitive course, at on of the UK’s top 5 universities, however it is about 4 hours away from my home. My Mum is concerned at the distance and doesn’t want me living too far away from home. So we agreed to do istikhara to seek Allah’s guidance, however, shortly before my Mum was about to do istikhara on my behalf, she went off the idea completely and said an outright no to me going to the interview.

I did istikhara last night with isha as I felt it necessary, and here’s the dream:

It’s very simple as far as I recall, I remember a girl (Asian), was standing in a white long, flowing salwar kameez and I THINK she was singing… or some form of melody was being sounded by her.

Thank you!

Interpretation:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem
:

Wa alaikum salaam,

Try to remain patient in consultation with your parents. If your mother disagrees with you going, find out her reasoning and look for a resolution through consultation. If the answer  remains unclear, continue to pray istikharah, but be sure you are open to Allah’s guidance without pushing either way. Use caution.

Wallahu alam.

Dream: Snakes in house

Dream:

My brother dreamt two snakes got into our house either one or both were green. Me and my brother were looking for them. I found one of them, it bit me then I pulled off its head. He was freaking out about going to hospital but I said everything was fine as the snake was dead. So he started to look on internet about what to do if get bitten by snake. Then he remembered there was another snake still in the house, at this point he woke up.

(P.S : I would like to add that I am currently facing some great hardships with regards to my marriage and my family is helping me out. Hope this helps.)

Jazakallah Khayr for your help and may Allah azawajal bless you all. Amin

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani explained that seeing a snake in dream means an  enemy. You and your brother may recite Ya Hafeez and Hasbunallah wa ni`ma ‘l-wakeel 100 times daily to save yourself from the evil of these enemies.

And Allah knows best.

Dream – istikhara

Question:

I want to marry a guy, so I prayed salatul istikhara prayer. On the first night I saw a peacock walking towards me in a place and I was asking that we have to build more houses in this place. The second day I saw that I was trying to wear a white dress, and my mom was saying me that the dress won’t fit you but still I was trying to wear it. I really don’t know what it means and I always forget my dream. Please help me to know if he is the right person for me according to my dream.

Answer:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm

The two istikhara show that the man you want to marry might not be suitable for you even though you think he is.

And Allah knows best.

Azaan and Iqamah for newborn

Question:

Asalamalaikum warehmatullahi wa barakatahu,

Is the azaan to be made in right ear and iqamah in left?
Should the baby be facing Qibla? Should the azaan and iqama be made before the nurses takes the baby away for cleaning or after in this case?

Jazakallah khair

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

wa `alaykum salam,

The child is to be named on the seventh day. No harm if the child is named before seventh day or on the day when the child was born after being washed. Adhan is to be made in his right ear and iqamah in his left, facing Qibla.

Dream: Function

Dream:

Assalam-o-Alaikum!

I saw a dream that there is some function in my house and I’m chatting with my sister and her husband (some unknown man, not her real husband). Then I say that I have to get ready for a function and I got to take bath (there is no door in the washroom, I’m trying to hang some curtain instead of door but the curtain is transparent). I drop the idea of taking bath, then I see myself sitting in a function with my sister and mom. We are chatting and my hair is wet and all of sudden I hear noises of ladies of congratulations, engagement is done. In a while there are loads of rose petals (dark pink color) flying in air and falling on me. They are so much in quantity that my hair and my eye lids are completely covered with them.

Interpretation:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Wa alaikum Salaam!

This is good tidings of your inner modesty and that engagement/marriage will open soon by Allah’s mercy inshallah.
