Dream: Studies

Question:

Assalamoalaikum,

Nowadays I dream that I am studying in a university, stuff like that, and I have completed my studies and I used to have these dreams after every 2 or 3 days… that I am studying and getting bad marks and all. Recently I had dream where I am getting worried about my marks and I even failed in one of the subject. It’s bit confusing.

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Wa Alaykum salam,

This dream can mean that you have worries that are going to make you hopeless in life. Do the dikr to erase these worries by saying  Laa ilaaha il lal Lah Subhanaks in nee kuntu mina zaleemeen at least 300 times before bed. InshAllah your dreams will be better.

And Allah (swt) Knows best.

Adab of Ta’weez

Question:

Bismillah
Assalamu Alaykum,

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham(Q.S.), Shaykh Gibril and respected scholars and staff of eShaykh. May Allah(S.W.T.) Bless you endlessly here and hereafter and raise your rank continuously. Aameen.
3 Questions:
1. I got the Naqshbandi ta’weez for our family and we are wearing it. I forgot to ask – is it OK to wear it for general protection or it should it be worn only against black magic and evil eye?
2. Do we need to remove it when we use the toilet or when doing wuddu in a bathroom with attached toilet?
3. Are there any additional adab for using the Ta’weez?
Please pray for us.
Wa Salam

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

It is ok to wear for general protection. If properly wrapped (in plastic wrap then encased in silver, leather or plastic) then it can be worn inside one’s clothes even when entering latrine. Tawiz does not have to be removed during sexual relations nor for a woman during the time of her period. Remove only when disrobing. Do not misplace or lose.

Dream: Mushrooms growing on mouth

Dream:

As Salamu Alaikum,

I dreamt I was in my childhood home in the backyard / back portion of the house. I was helping various people when I realized 3 chanterelle-type mushrooms growing from my bottom lip. No one else seemed to notice, so I kept working. When I had a chance, I sat in my car & began pulling the mushrooms off. This was uncomfortable, not painful. My current neighbors were passing my car & I was concerned what they were thinking . I tossed the mushrooms in the street and noticed my faced and lips were a bit swollen via the rear-view mirror. Concerned about regrowth, I went back into the house & placed oregano oil on my mouth.

When I awoke from this dream, I felt a need to cleanse my body and consume turmeric and other herbs that might help fungus growth.

Interpretation:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Wa alaikum Salaam,

InshaAllah it is as indicated in your response to cleanse your system.

Wallahu Alam,

Salah on a bike

Question:

Assalamu alaikum wa rahma tu llahi wa barakatuhu!

Until recently I would often pray nafil and Sunnah rakats while riding a bike. Recently someone questioned it and I have felt doubt since and haven’t done it. Has there been itjhad on this question?

Jzakum Allahu Khairun.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Yes, there has been ijtihad on this issue. A Mustahabb namaz only may be offered while one is walking, or riding. Allah (swt) knows best.

Dream: Son’s dream

Dream:

My son had a bad dream and really wants to ask on this.
We went to Cyprus on an airplane and we got off the airplane and there was a (transparent) monster and it ate me up. So daddy thought we better go home. Then we went back home then it got my little sister. Then I woke up.

Interpretation:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

This dream can mean that your son caught a cold or a runny nose (transparent
mucus) and your daughter after him. Nothing to worry about inshaAllah they will get strong immune systems from that cold.

And Allah (swt) Knows best.

Prayer Request: Ijaza hizb Al-Bahr and An-Nashr

Request:

Assalamualaikum.

I am Indonesian people, and I have taken bay’a online to sheikh Nazim. I also have to practice daily aurad..I need permission to read Hizb al Bahr and Hizb al Nashr.  am happy to read it, but I never got ijaza of  the sheikh …

Wassalam

Response:

Alaykum Salam,

You have ijaza of barakah.
Anyone can read any ahzab without need for ijazah because they are compiled from Qur’an and Sunna, and their barakah is available for all. However, the particular madad of the Naqshbandi Silsila that comes with bayaa is through the Naqshbandi Awrad as taught by Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani (quddisa sirruh) with niyya (intention) and i`tiqad (belief) in the Shaykh.

Dream: Pregnant with Twins

Dream:

As-salaam alaykum!

I was standing in a room looking down at my belly and I was pregnant. I was trying to feel the baby and then I noticed the baby on the right side was quite big. I could feel the presence of another baby on the left side (perhaps smaller in size). As I was feeling my belly, the big baby on the right made a sudden shift, it felt so real and amazing! Then I was smiling and so happy and yelled to my husband, “Hey there is more than one baby in here!” He came to me quickly and was smiling, but he didn’t believe me and there the dream ended.

Please interpret!

May you all be continually blessed, ameen!

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

It means your child will be source of Blessings here and Hereafter and Allah knows best.

Nur; the Divine Light

Question:

As-Salaam aleikum,

It seems that the Divine Light (Nur) is slowly being removed from this world. Mawlana Shaykh also hinted at this in one of his sobhets when he declared that the Naqsibandi tarqiat is the only tariqat left who has Nur. All other spiritual movements are like “plastic cucumbers”.

Is it Allah’s will that the Divine Light is going away or is his Nur going away from the world because people believe less and less. In other words, can we as mere humans stop the disappearing of Nur or is this a futile exercise. I have heard that the Divine expands and subtracts his influence in this world and in his followers, so maybe the disappearing of Nur is just Allah ‘breathing in’.

Greetings

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

In Islam Allah and His Prophet has the last word so it does not matter how dark it gets, as foretold by the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) in so many hadiths pertaining to the end of times (see Mawlana Shaykh Hisham’s book Armageddon). However, our task is to continue with dhikr and our individual responsibilities (whether of dunya or spiritual) and to plant the seed of goodness even if Resurrection is beginning the next minute.

Dream: Bob Marley and a Sufi Muslim

Dream:

Bismillah

Salam Blessed Shuyukh,

I had a dream while doing charity work in Africa. Myself and another sister met Bob Marley. I was so excited to meet him. Afterwards he told someone else that he was very happy to meet a Sufi Muslim. I first thought he meant me but the other sister assumed he meant her-and she had spent more time with him. But deep down in the dream I remember thinking I’m sure he’s talking about me.

Interpretation:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

wa `alaykum salam,

This dream can mean that one side wants to be known for the work you do, the other side likes to be humble. Take the humble side that only thanks Allah for being able to do the charity work with out attachment to it.

And Allah (swt) Knows best.
