Dream: The Quran laid open on the floor

Dream:

Assalamu alaikum,
I dreamt I saw the Quran laid on the floor (which of course I would never do) and it opened up to a page. I could see the Arabic writing in black very clearly but as I can’t read it I didn’t know what it said. The letters were large for the page and there was some colour on the page as well, quite possibly some of the lettering. The lettering itself was beautifully written. The next time I looked I knew that I was looking at the Shahadah and the English translation was written beneath in smaller letters.

An uncle of mine appeared (white English, non-Muslim) and I told him that it was the Shahadah written down. I went to explain what it was but never managed to.

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Walaikum Assalam,

InchaAllah through you, many in your family will accept Islam.

Prayer Request: Sudden change in husband’s behavior

Request:

My in-laws make me feel inferior/outsider in word/action/behaviour even though I try to please them. My husband use to see my efforts and sympathize with me (Alhamdulillah).

Lately my husband is distant/angry. In his anger he said a lot of hurtful things and that he would ask Allah for my hisab on the Last Day. We talk sparingly, he stays up late to avoid me. The very sight of me makes him angry. I live a double life as my family thinks I am happy. At home, I am severely depressed, my health is not good and ignore housework/kids.

Please pray for us. My core is shaken. For everyone else’s unfairness, I could ignore and feel peaceful at home but now that my home is restless, I am restless, broken and lost. I ask Allah to bless and forgive us and for us to be in Jannah together. Ameen.

Response:

Keep distance with your in-laws but respect them at the same time. Try to build a good relation with your husband with peace and smile even if he broke your heart, ignore his anger and unfairness. Fight your feeling with the recitation of Allah’s Name Ya Mani’ 164 times after Salatu Fajr and read Salawat al-Nooraniyyah. Read this Salawat while cooking and read 21 times over the water to drink. In sha Allah May Allah give you
peace and harmony.

Secrets of the jinn

Question:

As-Salamu-`Alaykum to all.

I attended my local zikr gathering recently and one of the khalifa of Maulana said that were only a few kings of jinn, and only one of them is Muslim whom is the son of Iblees. He said that this was one of the secrets of the jinns. Is this true? Has Maulana given any sohbat on the secrets of the jinn besides the one on nurmuhammed?. Pleases forgive my ignorance.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Mawlana Shaykh has three caliphas: Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani, Mawlana Shaykh Adnan Kabbani, Mawlana Shaykh Mehmet Adil. Other than them, the rest are only authorized to lead dhikr, give baya` to Mawlana Shaykh, and read from the advice of our master.  Sometimes representatives pride themselves too much and begin to bring “information” but from somewhere we don’t know. So my advice, with all respect to all  representatives, is to be careful.

What we have learned from Mawlana Shaykh Hisham is that the Sultan of Jinn is Muslim, and that the vast majority of Jinn are Muslim. Other than that I have no information, but what that one said, sounds odd, and in my opinion probably incorrect. Allah knows best.

Full reliance on Allah – Tawakkul

Question:

Salamou alaykoum,

I have a question regarding tawakkul.
Does Allah love a person that depends on Him solely? And how would a person know which way to proceed? Do we get inspiration or a feeling?

I am the type of person who dislikes asking anyone for any favor. I like to look for my own opportunities. for example: I dislike giving someone my resume to pass around for hope for a job. instead, I say “I depend on Allah, I will find my own job by Allah’s help”.

Is this correct to do? Please guide me.

Jazakkallahu kairan

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

You can look on your own and at the same time pass your resume around. Tawakkul is not negated by that as long as you know in your heart that everything comes from Allah. Be simple in accepting His favors even when they come through His servants.

Rizq vs Self Growth (actualization)

Question:

Dear Shaikh Assalam-o-Alaikuk,
Love, Eid Mubarak and Assalam to MSN, MSH and the entire eShaykh staff.

Can you please help explain the following scenario. One has a job, has earned respect and rizq in it and is doing well, however has learnt almost everything and is becoming complacent. There is an other position in the same company which may pay the same but will help to grow and learn more. What is the right approach here? Additionally, if one’s rizq is written then why make the effort, won’t ALLAH give us what is ours regardless if we make little or no effort for it? Is there any hadith or explanation for it?

JazakaALLAH khair, please pardon me for any bad manners (adab).

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

No one knows their final destiny therefore Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) said everyone must do their best and ask for the best. Dua, sincerity, good deeds and effort is the way of Prophet. Do not investigate Qadar but study and follow him. Your dunya is OK, no need for more; but improve your spiritual life. That is what you should use your free time for and where you should plan your growth.

Consequence of a dream

Question:

As salaam wa alaykum,

We always been told not to tell the dreams to others. If one does, then the dream loses its strength.

After my Hajj, when I came back home, I saw an important dream, that an important event is going to take place in my life. And mercy of Allah, it was about to happen. Then I made a stupid mistake, I told to few people about the dream, things took turn and it did not happen. I did plenty of istagfirah. But is there special dua or amal, so that Allah may reinstate the event?

May Allah bless you.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Whether you told or not, everything that Allah Most High decreed for you will certainly reach you. So don’t worry. Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) said “Don’t say ‘if only I had done this or not done that.’ ‘If only’ is from shaytan. Trust in Allah.”   Sahih Muslim.

My son and my mother

Question:

Salaams,

My son and I were born on the same day. What is the meaning in this? A friend said this means my son and I will share the same fate. Is that correct? I had a hard life so far and I don’t want my son to experience that.

Can you let me know if there are dua I should say for son’s protection? Also because of finances I moved back with my family. My mother is paranoid schizophrenic. Even before diagnosis she abused me as a child. When I was married she told me to divorce and now that I have a son I feel her jealousy again because she had daughters, though both are a blessing. She competes with my son for my attention and even for food. Should I stay and suffer silently or make dua to be able to live separately with my son?

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Your mother, your son and you will all be in Paradise in sha Allah. Your troubles will seem as less than a drop in the ocean at that time.

Forgive your mother and lavish your protection on her also. With Allah’s help you will cross all obstacles and your son will learn love of his mother by seeing your patience with your mother. Keep your prayers and dhikr jealously as they are the source of your strength. Recite the Names of Mercy to the intention of protection for your son: Ya Latif, Ya
Hafiz, ya Rahim, ya Karim
etc.

Pariyan (fairies)

Question:

I have questions:
Do Pariyan (fairies) exist? Or they’re jinn-zadiyan (female jinn)?

I heard that female jinn appear in a form very beautiful ladies (apsara). My question is, are they beautiful by nature or do they transform (shapeshift) themselves? Or, they are a test/azmaish for man?

If jinnat have the ability to shapeshift then, what are their limits to this ability?

I always ask these sort of question because. I love occults things.

JazakAllah! www.eshaykh.com

Answer:

Regrettably I don’t know any of this nor anyone who does.
