Assalam O Alaykum wr wb Shaykh Nazim and Shaykh Hisham I hope you and everyone on eshaykh are well and in good health. Please can you tell me the meaning or reason of what it means if you see red light when closing eyes?
Also please can you tell me about sheykh Nazim’s views on black magic. If a family has been under black magic for over 20/30 years because of jealous relatives, are they allowed to return the majic back because they have been very patient but want the end of the spells ?

The red also depends on context, i.e. after dhikr, during prayer..or is it like spots in the eyes after straining vision etc.. But for the black magic Mawlana Shaykh Nazim recently said that he doesn’t want his murids saying they are suffering from black magic because it is as if they are saying their Shaykh is “sleeping”. One may be suffering from nazar/evil eye but that can be decreased by reciting Ayat al-Kursi everyday before leaving the house and every evening. For the children, blow it on them. Make sure everyone is also wearing taweez’s. And no it is not appropriate for murids to engage in black magic because it is forbidden in Islam.
