Dream:
Assalamu-alykum Ya Sayaddi Ya Murshidi.
I feel very happy to know the meaning of this dream. I am in my hometown and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim came to our home with Mawlana Shiekh Hisham and few senior mureeds. I and my family were very happy and serve the guests. All senior mureeds leave the home except Mawlana. I bring container of Nestle pure water and Mawlana gives me a small bucket and asks me to pour into water, when I do so the water color turns into sky blue. Then Mawlana dips his holy tongue in water and asks all of my family members to drink, we do so which tastes really great. My elder brother doesn’t usually listen while we talk about Silsila at home. I also give him water to drink but suddenly the color turns into dark pink. He drinks and says that it tastes not good.
Interpretation:
audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,
wa `alaykum salam,
Alhamdulillah, through your love and service to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, his representative Mawlana Shaykh Hisham and the murids you were blessed by the Shaykh visiting your home, which is your heart.
When you come to the Shaykh with an empty bucket (not filled with your “ego-ness”) he is able to fill it up with Divine Knowledge and angelic blessings shown by the clear blue delicious water.
{[KNOW,] THEN, that if they keep firmly to the path [Ar. tariqa], We shall certainly shower them with blessings [lit. water] abundant} Surat al-Jinn 72:16
Your brother’s experience shows that he is not yet ready to receive the same knowledge. Don’t speak to him about tariqah, as he is not interested. Even in the same family you may find people with different mentalities, but all are servants of their Creator.
{And remember Moses prayed for water for his people; We said: “Strike the rock with thy staff.” Then gushed forth therefrom twelve springs. Each group knew its own place for water. So eat and drink of the sustenance provided by Allah, and do no evil nor mischief on the (face of the) earth.} Surat al-Baqara 2:60
