Dream: Seeing wedding in dream.

Dream:

Assalamualaikum. I like someone and have been praying to marry him. Few weeks back I saw a dream in which, I saw that person in wedding dress, what does that mean? And what should I do now? Do such dreams have any meaning?
JazakAllah!

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Insha-Allah that is a good sign to move forward and Allah knows best. Best approach is to go through your parents or some other intermediary to see if there is interest from his side.

Dream: dropped to the tomb of prophet(s)

Dream:

selam aleykum vrb! in my dream i was sliding on a huge white sheet sudenly i see myself falling over the tomb of our beloved prophet (s) even opened the lid of the grave than i woked up in my dream having power and showing this power to my father (because he dont accept the sufi way) ya seyidi what does it mean this dream!

Interpretation:

wa`alaykum salam,

You are on the right way and the Prophet (s) is showing you his Holy Presence from behind a veil (grave instead of himself), and your father is in need to change. Congratulations for this, it is a great good tidings to you.

Use the information available at Sunni and Sufi websites (eshaykh, sunnah.org, sunnipath) and books to show your father the powerful proofs of Sunni beliefs, and insha-Allah he will revert to the true understanding of Islam.

Dream: animals on way

Dream:

assalamu ‘alakum
I dreamed that a girl (I know) told me to go somewhere, she told me the way to it. when I stepped on the first road which was a little higher, many animals were coming. I had to move the opposite direction I found it hard to get even out of the stampede of donkeys and cows. anyhow i managed to find the way out there was a girl with me but now she was not. I looked around and found I was on the right side of the road whereas I had to be on the left side. I thought i will change the lane when I need to…

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

The girl represents dunya and receiving much more of the worldly life. The herds of domestic animals represent the lower self, whose main interest is only eating, drinking and animal pleasures. This dream shows your spiritual side, (ruh) is being overwhelmed by dunya and material desires, and that to get to the “right” side you are in need of some great effort against your ego. It is not enough to “think” you will change, because to make such a change needs the support of a guiding murshid, it cannot be done by one’s self.

Organic Meat from non-Muslims vs. Dubiously “Halal”

Question:

Assalamu alaykum,

We did read the previous posts pertaining to the issue, nevertheless we want to ask: I’ve been abstaining from meat for most of the time because there’s no eligible butchers and we cannot slaughter ourselves. Now the work situation becomes more exigent and I feel a much stronger need and appetite for meat.

On one hand, there are Turkish/Arabic supermarkets. We cannot say whether they’re trustworthy (they sell cigarettes for instance), we don’t know if the halal-labels are trustworthy either – rather it can be assumed that the upbringing of the animals and the slaughterhouses are not animal-friendly; that it’s GM, treated with chemicals/hormones/preservatives. Sadly, everything against MSN’s teachings of being in harmony with nature.

On the other hand, the non-Muslim supermarkets sell organic chicken and beef. One can assume that the animals are treated better, but the slaughtering might miss religious standards.

Please advise.
Allah bless you

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

This is an important topic of which there is much discussion. On the one hand there are many fatwas from Ahl as-Sunnah scholars that say Muslims can eat the meat of People of the Book and since they don’t hear the name other than Allah being recited over the meat, then the meat is permissible.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim has told people who do not have access to halal meat to recite the shahada over the meat 3x’s and then recite Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem and eat it.

However, we also heard it said from our shuyukh many times the hadith that “the person who revives my sunnah in the last days will be rewarded with the reward of 70 martyrs” and “The one holding fast to the religion in such times is like holding onto a burning coal”, so it is the believer’s INTENTION to be keeping the Sunnah and eating halal meat that earns him/her the reward and heavenly emanations. The exact nature of the meat and whether it is really halal or not is not the responsibility of the consumer, it is the intention that matters. In fact many report that they feel a strong sense of commitment to “eating halal” because of the baraka and support they feel from the practice.

Allah knows best and it is up to you to decide.

Dream: Hearing of Azan and seeing Dargah of AwliyaAllah

Dream:

I have given an exam for job and I got a dream regarding that I am walking on the streets of that city after getting rejected in interview and then suddenly I heard Azan and saw Dargah of Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz (rah). Actually I have taken waseela of Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz (rah). The result of the exam is yet to come.

Interpretation:

Insha-Allah it means with the intercession of Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz (q) your exam will be passed, even if you failed. If not, Allah will send something better even in its place, insha-Allah.

Another Golden Chains?

Question:

Is there any relation between our Golden Chain with this [website]? With one common Syaikh Abul Hasan ‘Ali ibn Ja’far al-Kharqani qs. Please elaborate.
Thank you.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

With all respect, the link you gave does not connect.

There is only one Naqshbandi Golden Chain, that of Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani.  All Naqshbandi chains contain the Khawajagan of Central Asia and may differ after Sayyidina Shah Naqshband but the different branches spring mainly either after Mujaddad Alf ath-Thani Ahmad Sirhindi (al-Imam Rabbani) or even later, from Sayyidina Shaykh Khalid al-Baghdadi, who had 299 caliphs, by means of which the Naqshband Tariqah was spread east and west, north and south.

Please see the Post “Naqshbandi shuyukh“.

May Allah accept us to be the lowest servant to the servants of this Most Distinguished Sufi Way.

Naqshbandi shuyukh

Question:

Aslm,

In researching about naqshbandi (although I am a murid of MSN) I came across information regarding another Naqshbandi shaykh. when looking at the explination of his story and the sielsiela it looked a bit similar to our shaykhs…sorry if i didnt pick up the major differences (im not too clued up). please pardon my ignorance. Is he part of the golden chain? are MSN murids permitted to listen to his talks etc? who is Sh in relation to our tariqah?

In addition to this please make dua for myself and my husband for Allah to keep us on the path, bring us closer to Him and make our struggles on Dunya easy and place sabr and barakah in our lives as good servants of Almighty. Inshallah

Wslm, May Allah forgive me and us all.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Is there not enough material about and by Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani to view, listen to and read? This path is based on love of the Shaykh. The best adab is to look at your shaykh as the only shaykh that exists, as if there were no others. In that way one develops the state of Fanaun fi’ sh-shaykh, Annihilation in the Shaykh. At that time you will see everything is the Shaykh, even other shaykhs, and relations to everyone and everything else is based purely on the relationship to the Shaykh.

And Allah knows best,
