hymenoplasty

Question:

Assalamualaikum shayks
Is it permissible to do an operation for making a girl a virgin again after taubah nasuha from zina?or leave it and let the future husband knows about it by himself?
pls answer this question, because I’ve already asked it many times

Answer:

As-Salamu ‘Alaikum,

It is not permissible to undergo this kind of surgery (hymenoplasty or hymen restoration) as the purpose is merely to give a wrong impression about one’s virginity or innocence. In Islam it is permissible to undergo cosmetic surgery only when it is needed due to a health issue or some type of deformity on the body.

Whether the one I saw was Sayyiduna RasoolAllah (S)

Question:

Assalaamu Alaykum,

Today I had overslept a little and I was waking up and sleeping many times. Finally, during the end of my sleep-wake state,I had a short dream like state where I saw someone with Islamic clothing, white beard and Jibril was there giving Wahi.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

It is an excellent dream and it is possible you saw a Prophet. As for the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) himself, he only had a few gray hairs you could count on one hand.

Was Sayyidina Dawud a Prophet?

Question:

Assalamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah Sheikh,

Is it known definitively which of the 25 prophets mentioned in the Holy Qur’an were messengers? In the fourth citation below, Sh. Tahir al-Jazai-ri in al-Jawahir al-Kalamiyyah mentions that all 25 prophets mentioned in the Holy Qur’an were messengers.

Was Dawud ‘alayhis salaam a messenger? In the first citation, from al-Fara-id al-Hisaan of Sh. Ibrahim al-Yaqoubi, he is not mentioned as a messenger. In the second citation, from Jawahir Kalamiyyah, Sh. Tahir mentions prophet Dawud was instructed to follow the sacred law of prophet Musa, ‘alayhim as-salaam, which would entail he is a prophet and not a messenger, However in the four citation, from Jawahir, he says that Dawud ‘alayhis salaam was from the messengers. What is your understanding Sheikh?image.png

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Jaza’iri’s list is confirmed by the poem of Shaykh Muhammad al-Damanhuri listing the names of the Messengers: http://www.aslein.net/showthread.php?t=197, and among them are Nuh and Dawud, upon our Prophet and all of them blessings and peace.

Quorn is it Safe to Eat?

Question:

Asalamalaikum

I reside in the UK where the meat alternative Quorn is selling as non veg option. I would like to know is this safe to consume? Thank you in advance. May Allah swt raise the station of all Shaykh and Grandshaykh of Naqshbandi GOLDEN Chain.

Answer:

alaykum Salam

This is a dietetary question that should be directed to its experts. From the Sharia perspective edible fungus (which is what the product named is) is considered the same as edible mushroom, so it can be inferred that such fungus is halal.

ISIS and the flag of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Sahaba

Question:

Here in Denmark we have wahhabis saying that “the flag of isis is in reality the flag of the Prophet” and one hizbu tahriri said: “Though we are against isis, we can never be against their flag as it was the flag of our Prophet” is this true?

Answer:

It is ironic that you apparently live in Denmark yet you seem still unaware that images and symbols can be wrongly appropriated and eviscerated of their original meanings so as to stand for the exact opposite of their original intent. For example the “Seal of Solomon” or six-point star is originally an Islamic symbol found for centuries in mosques, in mihrabs, and on Islamic coins but it also became a symbol of (i) satanism and sihr in the Western Middle Ages and Renaissance, and (ii) tyranny as the flag of one of the most oppressive nations in human history. Are the downtrodden Muslims who wipe their shoes on it — as one of their few acts of protest left against such tyranny — disrespecting the Prophet Sulayman and his symbol? No.

More to the point, the premise of your question contains two big lies: “is in reality the flag of the Prophet” and “it was the flag of our Prophet.” Such lies are rejected to the faces of those who claim such batil, which even a child knows. To this day after 1441 years, have you still never heard of the warnings of the Prophet Muhammad himself (upon him blessings and peace) in many of his hadiths, against the mass-murderer Khawarij, whom he called The Dogs of the People of Hellfire, and in which he stated that “they will appropriate the Best Speech (Shahada and the Qur’an) but it is only on the surface of their throats”; and “they will speak the discourse of the Best of Creation (Shahada and the Hadith) but in reality they are calling to Hellfire”? Are you really still unaware, in 2019, of these descriptions of the Khawarij and their self-evident Prophetic reference to mass-murderer ISIS!! GROW UP.

Ahadith ensoulment 120 days

Question:

As far as I know all madhahib say 120 days until the ensoulment, even if there are some scholars that say 40 days for it.
But then I got posted a link where all ahadith would say 120?

Answer:

The link states “There is not a single sound (sahih) or hasan hadith stating clearly that the spirit is blown into the fetus four months after the pregnancy.” This is clearly inaccurate in light of the explicit hadith to that effect in Bukhari and Muslim from Ibn Mas`ud (r):

For every one of you, the components of his creation are gathered together in the mother’s womb for a period of forty days. Then he will remain for two more periods of the same length, after which the angel is sent and insufflates the spirit into him….

And Allah knows best.

Heartbroken mureed

Question:

السلام عليكم i hope u are in best of health, recently i took bayah with Shaykh Mehmet may Allah tala bless them, after they visited uk, me and my family went to visit them and they didn’t come across hospitable, we left heartbroken, what could this mean?

Answer:

عليكم السلام

Murids are tested and Shaykhs are tested also, as we have heard from Mawlana so many times. We are works in progress until our last breath. This is the short answer.

Search your soul and ask forgiveness. “Istighfar in the last part of night” (Al `Imran 3:17) “is because Divine forgiveness is the greatest of all quests, and even the sum total of all quests” (Baydawi). “Ours is not a dergah of despair. Come back and come again” (Rumi).
