Dream: Grandad Sick

Dream:

Aslaam ula Kum,

My sister had a dream where my grandfather is dying but he didn’t look like he was dying as he was happy etc. Then me, her brother asked my grandad in the dream didn’t someone say that (she thinks it was an angel but isn’t sure) you will be ok because your blood is sayyid blood. As she is 13 she gets quite confused with the facts she is unsure if it was sayyid or Sunni blood she believes it was sayyid. We do not know our lineage.

Interpretation:

Wa `alaykum salam,

In-sha-Allah it means you are sayyids and this dream is revealing that, but try to find out for sure. There is no such thing as “Sunni blood” but there is Sayyid blood, and the Prophet (s) said, as related by Sayyidina `Umar (r):

“On the Judgment Day every means will be cut off and every lineage severed except my lineage.” (at-Tabarani)

Dream: Dream: Preparing orange juice for Maulana

Dream:

Salams,

I dreamt I was in an unknown house and Maulana Shaykh Nazim was present. I was preparing orange juice for Maulana. There was a glass pitcher filled with orange juice and a few square shaped glasses placed on a white tray. I thought it would be better if I didn’t add the ice cubes to the pitcher and I put the ice cubes in a square shaped glass instead, so Maulana can decide how cold he wants his juice. Maulana looked at me when I was preparing the juice, smiled and walked to a nearby room where dinner was served. In my dream, both Maulana and myself were younger.

Thank you.

Interpretation:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Walaikumas salam wa rahmatullah,

Orange represents wealth. Insha Allah by the Baraka of Mawlana you will acquire wealth and intend to spend some of it in the way of Allah as you were preparing orange juice for Mawlana. Also this dream indicates medicinal property of orange.

I had an affair, please advise

Question:

Dear Shaykh,

I am married but I had an affair. I do not love my wife anymore but I don’t know how to tell her.

What should I do? Please advise me.

Shukran and Salaams

Answer:

Beat yourself over the head with a large stick. The punishment of the hereafter for adulterers is much, much worse. Prepare yourself to be betrayed as you have betrayed. The shaytan who inspired you to act has worse yet in store for you. But if a desire for repentance enters your mind, and regret for your mistake, then maybe the door of reconciliation is still open because Allah has not exposed you yet. The love you say is gone may just be behind that door.

Permission of playing professional Football (soccer)

Question:

Assalamualykum,

I would like to ask whether it is permissible to play professional soccer and whether the income earned is halal. In my heart it seems like I would be wasting peoples time. But then again a lot of people just watch highlights only. This is the main thing which is preventing me from trying to become a professional footballer. Other then that, English football is quite accommodating for Muslim football players’ beliefs as there are quite a few Muslim players. I have not got other professional qualifications, as I failed in university, therefore I am looking into this avenue in order to earn a living.

I follow the Hanafi school of thought.

jazakAllah

Wassalam

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Strictly speaking football/soccer as a profession is not allowed. Any sport done for money according to the teachings of Islam is not permissible. Sport activities done for recreational purposes are permissible.

Dream: Deceived by car seller

Dream:

Asalamu alaykum Shuyukh, jazakallah khair for all that you do.

I wanted to ask you about a dream I had. In the dream we bought a car from a family friend. My mum gets into the car and asks me to driver her somewhere. When she gets in, she starts complaining about how broken apart and damaged the car is and the sits have holes in them. She wants to return it and I try to reason with her by saying it will be shameful if we did that. I’m on the phone with the guy and I sense that he knows that he deceived us and is getting away with it.

In reality we bought the car from the same guy and it has no problems thus far, Alhamdulilah.

Wa alaikum salaam,

As long is the car is fine no worries inshallah.

Dream: Old woman and man in front of Ka’bah

Dream:

Salaam,

I had a dream I saw an old woman sit down in front of Ka’bah and then came 5 men whom I can’t see their faces. One of them goes to the old woman and takes her to go don’t sit in here but the old woman comes back again and again (in my dream my heart said 1 man is Rosulullah (saw)).

Interpretation:

Walaikumas salam wa rahmatullah,

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Most probably Kaba Sahreef indicates your five prayers and the old woman represents the dunya. The business of worldly affairs is either blocking you to keep your five obligatory prayers or reducing your concentration during the prayer more than before. The five men are the five levels of the heart. The way to bring back your focus is through reciting salawat on the Holy Messenger (sallallahu alaihis salam).

Dream: Praying and death

Dream:

Asalamualaykum wr wb,

In my dream I had I was at Hajj and praying two rakat but not in front of Kaba. Then dying and telling family I’m alive and just wandering. Asking my parents to look at me and they can’t hear me. The only way I talk to my friends is through calling them and in one part of the dream when I first died I would hide under bushes and crawl because of the angel of death I think it was but I’m not sure, I just remember being scared. In my dream I also think before dying I smoked a cigarette and my family would smell me near them and would get small hints of my presence. This felt real. Please help. JazakAllahkhair

Interpretation:

Walaikumas salam wa rahmatullah,

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

This dream is indicates that you will be or already under the guidance of a true shaykh of this time. Insha Allah your bad habits will die away and your iman will be rejuvenated (this is dying and being alive again) before the angel of death comes.

Could u kindly interpret my dream. Part 1) I am sitting in the drivers seat and my husband and kids go to a nikkah of someone or something similar like an occasion and l’m feeling why can’t l go. Part 2) a man coming towards me, can’t see his face just the chest, trips and I put my hand on the chest to stop him from falling and he doesn’t fall. Another man says to me move all the shoes that are in the way of that person, so I start putting them all to one side, then he carry’s on walking.

2) I see milk in the fridge. 3) Lion trys to attack my son, I come and fight the lion then dream ends.

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Wa alaykum asalam,

This (1) dream can mean that you are taking responsibility beyond your measure ,
(2) you are trying to help someone to get back on their feet ( finding a job , an income)
removing the shoes is removing the jobs that are not suitable for this man.
Milk in the refrigerator is a hidden benefit . 3) lion is a sickness and you are going
to heal your son from it.

And Allah (jj) knows best.

Dream: Teacher

Dream:

As salam aleykum,

My dream began in a house with a long hallway. I was flying with the feeling of finding my teacher, opened a door and there was a man sitting in a bright window. I only saw his shadow, by his clothes he was someone from the tariqa. It was strange for me. I’m studying with Salafis and I’m Mexican. Now I’ve started studying tariqa and I’ve not taken a bayat yet.

Interpretation:

Wa `alaykum salam,

That dream is showing you the future in-sha-Allah you will take the hand of a Sufi Shaykh and follow him, resulting in a spiritual ‘flight’, and Allah knows best.
