About Remarriage

Question:

Asalam O Alaikum,

I have a friend who she is married but now she is taking divorce from him because of his bad character (sleeping with other ladies and all that kind of stuff). Is she doing right taking divorce from him, this kind of things he has done too many times… And now she said I will not marry again what Islam guide us on this kind of stage whether she get marry with someone or she can stay alone. Her age is 2_.

Thank You

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

If her husband is in reality, as you describe, then she would be in her rights to request a divorce from him. If he expresses firm intention to change his ways, it is up to her to forgive or not. As for marrying again, marriage is sunnah, but don’t take her words – at this emotional stage in her life – with seriousness. Time will heal this wound insha-Allah and allow her to move on. But if you are a man, be careful that you are not a source of fitna.

Dream: Relocating

Dream:

Bismilla Irrahman neerraheem

Asalaamualaykum Sheik,

JazakAllah for your time and effort. May ALLAH reward you inshaAlllah. I had a dream of my late father where we were travelling by car in the mountains. This place was in the east of where I live about 300 km away. I am asking my father where shall we go and he replied we should go to this place. He also mentioned the name. I was positive and said to my father “Lets go”. When I awoke I was so happy and wished I could relocate to this place. I wish to take Sheik Nazim’s advice of moving to natural surroundings inshaAllah. This place is very beautiful with natural surroundings. If the opportunity arises should I take it? What does this dream mean?

JazakAllah

Wa alaikum salaam,

InshaAllah it is a good and correct inspiration. But make sure that you consult Shaykh Nazim or an Authorized Representative such as Shaykh Hisham al Kabbani before making such a move as the opportunity presents itself.

Dream: A friend’s wife

Dream:

In my dream, a friend calls me to his home and informs me that he needs to flee before anyone finds out about the crime he committed; he asks me to assist him. He is very calm when he informs me that his wife, whom he shot, is down in the basement.

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

This dream can mean that you are going to hear someone saying bad things about their wife. Check and avoid friends like that.

And Allah (swt) knows best.

Dream: Prophet(S) and Sura Muzamil

Dream:

Assalamo alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

In my dream I heard someone saying that Prophet Muhammad(S) used to recite Sura Muzamil while raising his hands then I saw a man lying on bed with his hands up (like in dua), he had small beard and he was shining (can u tell who he was?) and reciting Sura Muzamil. There was also another man sitting near his feet.

Interpretation:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Wa alaykum salam wa rahmatulahi wa barakatuh,

This dream can mean that if you want your dua to be answered, you should wake up in the middle of the night and do tahajjud, then make your dua. Surat Al Muzamil is pointing to tahajjud, and it should be easy for you to do.

And Allah (swt) knows best.

Explanation of Makruh

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmathullahi Wabarakathuhu,

Dear respected Shiekh,

In the recent past I heard from various personnel that they say “There is no Makruh as such” there is only haram and halal.

Can you please explain this? It will be appreciated if can give the detailed explanation so I can show the people who spread false information and who are misguiding innocent ummah.

Jazakallahu Hairan.

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

wa `alaykum salam,

The Madhhab Imams studied categories of ibadats more precisely that we can even imagine. Imam Abu Hanifah, the greatest among them, was especially known for that. He introduced the terminology that you mentioned to help us be more precise in following what is fardh and avoiding what is haram.

Stages on path and ego

Question:

Salamalaykum,

I remember reading books describing sainthood. I understood them to say that sainthood begins with attaining the eye of certainty which is the perfection of the human state, and the ego is mastered and therefore nothing opposes this person. But I keep hearing certain people are saints and signs tell me they haven’t attained human perfection and are not fully in control of their ego.

Obviously, I’m not talking about the big saints, but lower ones, and, well it doesn’t matter what they do. But I don’t feel safe around them or that I trust them unfortunately. (And end up missing their blessing)

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem:

Wa alaikum Salaam,

Allah said through Prophet (saws) ‘My saints are under My domes, no one knows them except Me.’

and, ‘Who opposes My Friends, I declare war on him…’

The eye of certainty is related to the vision of the heart. We must work to purify our hearts, but it is easier said than done because the more we try to purify, we may notice more faults and realize the need for intercession of the Prophet (saws). Our own faults should be enough to keep us busy and in the mean time keep a good opinion of others.

Whether or not people are saints we should look for their best qualities and ask Allah to connect us with his friends or at least keep love for them.
