Dream: Prophet Muhammad SAW & Companions

Dream:

Salaam,

I was on a train which when I got on seemed unstable. It became out of control and went off the tracks, I went up in the air while in the train and saw water below. I thought I was going to drown as I was falling…. from a distance I saw the Prophet SAW (their face and head was covered head in white) and few companions. I heard and saw the Prophet SAW point at one of their companions, they said “Umar get her” (this was Umar bin Khattab RA) ….I had just about fallen into the water and then got taken out quickly before I drowned, by Umar bin Khattab RA. I remember them being extremely tall with armour. I told them to take me to a safe place and they did so.

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh,

It shows that you need to be constant on doing salawat on Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and it means also that you need to take bay’a with perfect Murshid to board a train that will stay on the tracks to reach the presence Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam).

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham said about the endless honor to see Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in a dream: “Seeing the Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in a dream means you will be relieved from seven difficulties in dunya and in akhirah. Also, Imam Suyuti (r) said that if you see the Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in your dream, you will see him in reality before you leave dunya!”

And Allah knows best.

Love Marriage vs. Family

Question:

Salam,

I am in love with a boy, who I have known for many years. However, my mom and brother don’t believe he is worth me since he is not as educated or as wealthy and he is related to my brother in law. I have prayed, made dua, read nafl for help but no response. My family means a lot to me so I don’t want to run away. Please help me. I need a dua that I can recite in order for my mom and brother to approve my marriage to this boy that I love. I need a dua that will clear all obstacles in my path that separate us. I also would like a dua to speak to my father who passed away and perhaps get to hear if he is against my marriage to this boy as my brother said he was.

Allah Hafiz

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

They are not against your love, they are only concerned for the practical side of your happiness. However, let the boys make a formal proposal and if there is serious intention your family will take it into consideration in sha Allah. Recite Ya Fattah, Ya Razzaq x100 daily.

Dream: Deceased father of a person

Question:

As salam-u-Alaikum,

I have heard about death of father of our junior. It was such a sad incident that I have deep feeling of grief. After that I started to pray for his father. I have seen a dream that I’m going somewhere with my friend and I knock the door of a small house. A person opens the door, whom I recognize as his father. His father looks at me and had hammer in his hand and it seems that he was trying to crush a yellow rock type soft thing which I cannot recognize. Expressions of his father were like as he was busy in some hard work and his face was little blush due to hard work. Then my friend asks from his father about him. His father points towards kitchen. We get into the house it was empty and we found him working with yellow dust.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

See if the deceased had any debts that need repaying.

Adab in dream

Question:

As-salamu-alaykum,
I apologise for my lack of adab.

In a dream, all of my family went to meet Mawlana Shaykh to his house. In the masjid above, all of us sat on the floor with Mawlana. I was very open in speaking about my worries with Mawlana Shaykh. I may have spoken too much in excitement. Mawlana Shaykh told me off for the lack of my adab. I regretted & cried and asked him to forgive me. I said that I didn’t mean to be outspoken; I was just too excited…Later, Mawlana looked at my sister and said that he had taken charge of me. [In real life, I am quiet and introvert and normally never say anything in front of my Shuyukh but often in my dreams, I am very open and very comfortably speaking to the shuyukh – Why?]

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Dream teaches two realities of guidance, namely that only good comes from shyness and it is the superior adab; and secondly, that Mawlana’s guidance and apprisal of our states precedes our requests to him and is not in need of our own expositions.

Request:

Assalam waleykum,

My brother has a serious problem which we cannot solve it. Our family came to USA on tourist visa, me and my parents applied for green card and my parents got it. My brother is on students status. And he has to leave USA for his girlfriend in India. Her family is not ready to let her come alone to USA. They want my brother to go to India and bring her here. But if he leaves the USA once than he wont be able to re-enter. My mom and dad are crying day and night that they will get separated for at least 7-8 years. I’m requesting you to please pray for my brother. They will get married in January and then apply for visa. Please pray for them that they get approved and also please suggest us a dua that we can recite to request Allah pak too.

Response:

Secret Powers in Islam

Question:

Asalamualikum sir,

I want to ask that is there any kind of power through which a person can see somebody’s past or get to know about him. Actually my boyfriend try to manipulate me all the time. He says he has some kind of power he can see me where I am when he does full concentration. He told me that I have a mole on my back on right side. And it is true I saw it in the mirror. He told me that I have a black bag in my cupboard in which I have placed some pictures. . Is he really having some power? He promised me that he does not do any black magic…

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

If one can leave haram and be on righteousness day in and day out, that is the real power and greatest miracle. The rest is trinkets for children, self-delusion and waswasa.
