Dream: Istikhara for work

Dream

ASA…my friend has a pharmacy and work sometimes for him, now he has opening
so he wants me to work for him. I made istakharah. I had dream 2nd day that I was with presidents daughters and they were nice and friendly. Then their mom came and introduced herself and she was pleased and introduced me to the president and he was good to me and he introduced me to his security staff they all looked happy. Meanwhile the girls were having party on other hand with others.

Interpretation

wa `alaykum salam

Alhamdulillah that’s a good dream indicating you will be in a position of power
and influence and you will be secure in the job insha-Allah, but don’t get friendly with your friends’ daughters, that might take you away from right path, and Allah knows best.

Child Brides

Question:

Assalam alaikum,

What does Islam/the Shariah say about men having “child brides,” say age 6 or 7 and the girl has not reached puberty?

Thank you

Answer:

Wa `Alaykum Salam,

No, Islam allows consummation of marriage only as long as the girl has reached her pubescent stage, after she has begun her menstruation.

Can I recite Qasaa’id?

Question:

Salaam wa ‘Alaykum Shaykh,

I hope you are all in the best of health InshAllah.
I am a female, 19 years of age. In my spare time & at dhikr I recite Qasaa’id.
Since I started reciting Qasaa’id I felt love enter my heart, it gives me an over-whelming feeling & brings tears to my eyes. There is nothing I enjoy doing more.

So many people have told me to start recording them. I would love to but I don’t know whether it’s allowed? Is it not right for me to get them recorded since I am female? I have performed Qasaa’id at a Mawlid & wedding before also.
I was hoping for your advice on this?

Looking forward to your reply.
Salaam wa ‘Alaykum.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

The Holy Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) made dua for the singing girls of the Banu Najjar on Hijra and for the singing women and children of Madina on his return from Tabuk, and he listened to A’isha’s singing slavegirls so the answer is of course yes, and make it excellent. In sha Allah the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) will be pleased and make dua for you.

Dream: Rings

Dream:

Asalam aleykoum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,

In the first dream, I was in a huge class room. Then, I left. Outside, in front of the door, I took off black sandales (they weren’t mine) and I began to look for my pink shoes. I finally found them (but I had to ask some people to move since they were walking on them).

In the other dream, I saw an unknown young woman. I was wearing white sandals. She gave me four white rings (I brought them home). What could it mean?

Jazakoum Allah kheyr
Wassalam aleykoum

If you forgot Qur’an try to memorize it again and read it regularly. Or any special devotion Allah gave you then you stopped: resume it. Dreams will improve in sha Allah.

Hadith authenticity

Question:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked Abu Bakr Siddiq why did he recite Quran in a low voice? Abu Bakr replied: “He to whom I call, hear.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked Umar b. Khattab why did he did recite Quran in a high voice? He replied: “To wake the drowsy and drive away the Devil.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that, “ the good deeds of Umar was only (equivalent to) a single one of the good deeds of Abu Bakr R.A…..”Taken from (Kashf Al-Mahjub) by Ali Al-Hujwiri”

“ the good deeds of Umar was only (equivalent to) a single one of the good deeds of Abu Bakr R.A.”.. Somebody has asked me for the authenticity of this hadith. I want to know if this hadith is narrated in any of the hadith books.

Thanks and May Allah bless sheikh Nazim and all his disciples.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

The authentic version does mention the two statements of Abu Bakr and ‘Umar, after which the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) ordered the first one to raise his voice a little and the second one to lower it a little. (Tirmidhi)
