Dream: I Saw Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Question:

Assallam O Alikum,

I am lucky to see our beloved Rasool Allha (Prophet Muhammad SAW) fifth time in my dream. Every time i saw Him smiling at me. Last I saw Him on the Second night of Ramadan 2012. Its a road in Islamabad near the Shrine of Pir Mehr Ali Shah. He is standing beside me on the road side with no traffic. I was facing south, but Rasool Allah(SAW) held my left hand and changed my direction towards North and said “Line will start from here”.When I looked back there were around 100 standing in a line behind me. The last man who is wearing white shalwar kamiz, questions, why is he the one to stand first in the line. Rasool Allah (SAW) answered while smiling at me that ” because he is the Hot Favorite”.

I’ll be grateful if you could translate this.
JazakallahUlKhair

Answer:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Walaikum Assalam,

The dream is self explanatory. Be happy and feel honored.

Allah knows best.

Fiqh Book validity

Question:

Salam alaykoum wa rahmatouLlahi wa barakatouhou,

In this time when some books are being falsified and modified to suit the interest of particular people, is there a way to verify the validity of completeness of a book when we want to buy one?

How to make sure the version of any fiqh book we want to buy is complete and hasn’t been tampered with, as for instance some ahadiths have been removed from Sahih Boukhari and we may end up with an incomplete edition?

BarakAllahu fikoum.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Usually it becomes common knowledge if an edition is sound or unsound. Therefore ask around on a specific basis and in sha Allah you will be able to avoid bad editions. As for Sahih al-Bukhari the available editions past and present are complete and uncut to our knowledge.

Homosexuality in Islam

Question:

As a Muslim living in the West, I encounter homosexuality almost everywhere I go. On the TV, on the radio, on Facebook, in public, at school etc. I have 2 questions: what is Islam’s exact stance on homosexuality? And why would Allah (swt) make gays if he was just going to outlaw homosexuality in later? It doesn’t quite add up. Why he would make gay people only to say “oh, well I may have made you this way but I forbid you from doing the things that you are programmed to do (sexually).” Please explain to me because I’m so confused about this. Thank you!!!

Answer:

Homosexuality is a haram practice just as kufr is haram or just as wrongdoing is forbidden, but Allah is the Creator of everything. As for “why this or that was created” it is up to Him not us. We are only meant to use our will and be responsible for our actions.

Dream: Selling artificial hair

Dream:

I have been dreaming lately of selling beauty products like jewelry and hair. Sales are not good in the dream and one girl stole most of the jewelry from me not gold or silver but just bling blings. The hair comes in three different sizes long medium and short.

What does this suppose to mean especially the hair?

Interpretation:

Selling hair indicates haram rizq while cosmetics point to dunya and its emptiness. Ask for Divine good pleasure with dhikr and dua so that you will avoid loss and disappointment.

Dream: Wave

Dream:

As-salaamu alaykum wa RahmatullAllah.

Dear Sheikh,
I see the ocean much in my dreams and one particular dream stands out, because the waters were not calm and their were big waves. One big wave came towards me and my work colleagues, I took cover behind a building while my colleagues stayed where they were. Please can you tell me its meaning?

JazaakAllah khayran

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

This dream can mean that the ocean is some kind government, or a big firm, or a money loaning company… Something you need to fix then the ocean will disappear, Insha’Allah.

3 Times written Talaq

Question:

Asalam Alaikum Shaykhs.

I have a question regarding my sister in law. She had an argument with her husband during Ramadan and came to her parent’s home. After a month, her husband sent a “Divorce Deed” with 3 times written talaq. She did not perform iddat and I think a little more than 3 months have passed since she received the written talaq. She has signed on the “Divorce Deed” yet and recently started communicating with her ex husband. He regrets as well and wants to get back together. Question is: Did the 3 times written word talaq on 1 letter (Divorce Deed) constitute 1 or 3 talaqs? And if it constitutes 1 talaq, can she just remarry her husband without marrying someone else? Kindly reply in detail as we are very confused.

May Allah shower His blessings upon all of you and Shaykh Nazim.

Jazak Allah

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Salam,

The 3 times written word talaq in the letter (Divorce Deed) constitutes 1 talaq. She can go back to her husband without marrying someone else.

Dream: Dead bodies

Dream:

aoa,

I really have strange dreams they first started by seeing funerals and I got frightened and  everyday I have same types of dreams . The whole day I keep thinking of it and get depressed. Today I saw me and my mother went to graveyard and there were dead bodies of unknown people who were waiting for ghusul. My mum said to me take some cotton and start cleaning them, and I  said why don’t you tell my cousin to do this? I woke up with distress & slept again and I saw people talking about death and again. I saw a dead body of a boy who was brought for a ghusul and I was standing there giving a person a paper who was to give ghusul to that body. I’m really depressed…

Interpretation:

Recite Ya Lateef x100 and make Salawat on the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) daily. Ask Allah to replace your depression with contentment.
