I was enquiring about sharia rules concerning blood donation and had different answers ranging from permissible to makruh, even haram.
Is it advised to give one’s blood, and will this please Allah and his Prophet (s)?

Blood donation isn’t specifically mentioned in the main sources of Islam, but all sorts of charity are encouraged in Islam. Blood can be donated to non-Muslims as well.
