Dream: Seeing of an Owl and Isa (as)

Dream:

Asalamalikum,

I recently had a dream in which I saw a white owl in a park or a garden, sitting on a fence, and it was a bright morning and I was walking and I saw that owl and he had these blue eyes and he was blind, in that dream I thought that since its morning, owls cant see so thus he must be blind right now! But he sensed me and looked at me, and I feel as if it means something

second dream was about, how this sufi way was the right way for me, as I have been questioning if it is! and in that dream I saw Isa AS from distant walking into a light! What does all this mean then?

Interpretation:

a`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem:

wa `alaykum salam,

1) This dream can mean that you are going to meet a thief who is a loner, represented by the owl, and who pretend to be innocent, represented by the white color.

2) This can mean that the Sufi Way is spiritual, represented by `Isa (a), and going in the light means you should follow the Sufi Way.

And Allah knows best.

About situation in India, Permission for Hajj

Question:

Assalaam alaikum,
We stay in a largely Hindu dominated area, there are masjids and Muslims. However many areas in Bangalore do have Muslim`pockets. In view of coming war should we move out from current place which is an apartment and pretty safe otherwise. Secondly no one knows of my bayah at home, typical Wahhabi brainwashing. So am afraid to communicate my concerns to my husband also about war, dajjal etc.

Secondly, I wanted to perform Hajj or Umrah this year but husband says kids are too small and he prefers to postpone after some ‘years’. How do I what Maulana MSN has been warning about… feeling very worried. Will Muslims face a lot of oppression from Hindus here in India and will there be open attacks for which we need to hide or staying at home is enough?

Answer:

Alaykum salam,
Obey husband with patience, read Wazifa and trust in Allah without fear. Insha-Allah you will all be safe.

Dwelling on Past Sins

Question:

What should I do if an old sin is afflicting me by counterproductive thinking about it cause I obsess about this thinking. I feel this counterproductive thinking about this sin is killing my passion for Islam and my love to ALLAH and His messenger (peace upon him)What should I do to give this counterproductive thinking up (and the obsess about it)and to win back the strong love and passion to ALLAH, Islam and to his messenger? (peace upon him)

Answer:

For every recurring memory of it just humbly renew your istighfar. Our sins are not an important idol but a stairwell for building repentance and affirming our lowliness before the All-Forgiving and draw nearer and nearer to Him.

Dream: Istikhara, Internal Injury

Dream:

Sir I have an internal injury which is not healing. I did an istikahara as to what is the solution and how should it heal and the dream I saw was I’m sitting near a crystal clear stream with my feet dipped in it and I’m happy…I did istikhara 3 or 4 times and every time I saw a pond or water or a stream in different ways ..what is the meaning of this dream? Please reply as soon as possible I’m under immense pressure.

Interpretation:

Stream stands for Salat purifying you on top of your test. Meet Allah in it and say ten times in each sujud: whether You heal me or not I surrender to You. Then ask Him to heal you.

Question of Zikr

Question:

I am unable to pray at this time and its making me feel sad… Is there
any substitute I can do instead of the khatm khawajagan? I have all the
Quranic verses memorized of the Khatm Khawajagan but I still need to read it
from the book because I don’t know the orders. And I cannot hold the book at
this time. Can you please tell me if there is anything else I can substitute
the Khatm Khawajagan with and still not mess up the prescription for this
form of istikhara?

Answer:

You are not reading from the Qur’an anyway, so it’s fine even if you use
the book. Although I’ve heard from the ladies that Hajjah Naziha
advised women in their period to only recite Salawat, and not do the
daily Awrad for that time.

Doomed Marriage?

Question:

As Salamu Alaykum,

I did istikhara through the website of a Shia scholar if it was good to return to my husband. The istikhara turned out very bad and it was also written that the end would be very bad.

However, we have a daughter together, who is now 1_ month old. We both have older children from our previous marriage (his wife died in 200_). I don’t know, if it was correct to do istikhara in such a situation from an Islamic point of view, and if I should follow it.
I ask for your advice and prayers in this matter. Thank you very much. Wa salaam

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,
Rather the end will be very good for you no matter what. Allah Most High said, “Whoever forgives and makes up, Allah Himself will reward them.” Trust Him and ask your husband to do his best as well.

Various Questions

Question:

Assalamualaikum.
Dear shaykhs.
May Allah Taala bless all of you.
How should one understand the holy Qur’an generally. Should it be understanding with a wisdom or with literal following?
My example is the Ayat of quran kareem Taala which speaks of lowering the gaze.

Should a person lower ones gaze in EVERY situation or does it depend on hawa? What did syedi( peace be upon him ) say regarding those who just followed but did not understand the wisdom. Should a person follow the wisdom or the literal meaning? Does the Ayat of ” sami’na wa ata’na” mean hear and just act or does it have a collective meaning of always being ready to serve.

I am currently working in a door to door sales job and I always encounter the opposite gender.
Did syedi (peace be upon him) ever Look upon women who are non mahram?

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,
All of mentioned scenarios apply depending on context and the guiding light is Sunna practice as embodied by Awliya and Rabbani ulama. In your situation, looking is required to establish trust in the transaction but without lust.
