Dream: 4 Symbols

Dream:

I dreamed that I was with a congregation of people and we were walking some where I was in front carrying a plate with food, burning candle, sword and a branch of a tree.

We were walking and I’m not sure if I saw a graveyard or something like an altar or a table.  I putted the plate and the candle on the altar or table. The sword was huge and heavy, I took it and stuck it in to the ground. The branch of the tree which seem to be a bit dry was written on it Bismillahirahman-irahim. In the crowd there was one men who could not believe that I had managed to do all this so he had to convince him self that I did it all on my own. Can you please help me in telling me what these 4 symbols mean and interpreted the dream. Thank you

Interpretation:

Congregation is mercy, candle is guidance, food is knowledge, sword is dhikr and branch is life and Sunna. An excellent dream signifying levels in Religion both here (table) and hereafter (grave) for you.

Dream: White Birds

Dream:

Salam alaikum,

I had a dream I entered my house and I saw many white birds with red robes on. I put my hand near the bird and it sat on my hand and then sat on my head. The white birds were pleasant to look at. What could this mean?

I also had a dream an old man with white clothes who said to me that my sins are forgiven and I will be happy in the Akhira.

I also had a dream that I was reading Qur’an.

Jazakallah khair

Interpretation:

Bismi’llahi’r’Rahmani’r’Raheem.

wa `alaykum salam,
The zikr that you do is the white birds that you saw don’t let go of the dzikr. Allah is blessing you. Stay on that good habit … It is a good dream. With the dzikr your sins are forgiven, so keep up the good work.

And Allah knows best.

Dream: Imam Ali (RA) in Dream and Maulana Rumi(RA):

Dream:

Dear Shaykh,

I hope you are in good health. Mash Allah may Allah reward you for this good deed. Two years ago I had a dream where I saw Imam Ali(RA) , although I feel I was not fully asleep at the time. He had his back towards me, and then turned and as he was looking at me light started shining from his face. When I awoke, the state of my heart was totally changed. I think you may understand this feeling, and I was crying for sometime after this event.
Last year I saw another dream. Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi visits my home, and I go and hold his hand and start to cry. He turns to my father and says something about me. Please tell me the meaning of these dreams. I feel I’m not good enough to see these personalities, and I want to change myself.

Interpretation:

Audhubillahiminashaytanirajeem
BismillahirRahmanirRahim
:

These dreams should be motivation to strive to improve in spirituality. Your soul is supported by S. Ali and Rumi and Mawlana shaykh Nazim is the living shaykh holding their inheritance.

Wearing of Sunnah Clothing in Public

Question:

Assalamu alaykum wR wB,

Dear Mawlana Shaykh Hisham,

While many of your male mureeds understand the rewards of wearing sunnah clothing, some of us feel wary in certain public places of displaying any outward indication that we are Muslim. For instance, at airports, or at our workplaces, etc. The negativity felt by non-Muslims towards Muslims in America is at an all-time high, and while it is ignorant and unjustified, it is nevertheless a reality. For myself personally, I don’t even like to wear a kufi when at an airport, since it might trigger more hassle at the security checkpoints than otherwise might happen. I even tell my wife not to wear a scarf when going through airport security. Is my stance on this point valid, or should I just be more courageous and trust that Allah will protect me from this negativity? Thanks for your answer, may Allah Bless you.

Answer:

wa `alakum salam,

Alhamdulillah, Shaykh Hisham has already addressed your questions in a previous post.

Dream: Become a Scholar

Dream:

AsSalamOAlaikum Sheikh,

I hope you are well, InshaAllah. I saw a dream a few nights ago where I met an Arab prince. Had a long, clean, balanced face, w/handsome features. He said to me: become a scholar. The scene changes: we seem to be in a house made from mud. It seems there is a water running down the streets. He takes mud, makes shoes, throws them out the window onto the street, jumps into the shoes and starts running uphill. The beginning and ending parts of the dream are hazy and I cannot remember them well.

If the message is to become a scholar, then I feel inadequate to attempt this task. I feel I do not have the patience or the mental capacity, or the sincerity for it. Please explain.

JazakAllahKhair.

W’Salam

Interpretation:

Bismi’llahi’r’Rahmani’r’Raheem.

wa `alaykum salam,
This is a change of career and to be a scholar is not one of them.

And Allah knows best.
