Prayer Request: Problems Practising Basic Islam

Request:

Asalaamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

I hope this receives you with the Blessings of Allah, His Holy Prophet and Our Generous Shaikhs, Maulana Shaikh Nazim and his deputies/Khalifas. My question is basically related to these two questions, perhaps more the first question than the second, or maybe a bit of both.

I know you have covered these subjects amply in these questions, but my situation isn’t exactly the same but quite similar. I am quite upset with the whole thing/issue and need some resolution, I want to stay with Shaikh Maulana through one of His Khalifas but I’m having trouble even keeping the basic practices and principles of Islam going in my life.

Alaykum salam,

Shaytan wants you alone as the group makes you invulnerable. Try not to lose sight of Prophet (s) and Mawlana and do not pay attention to the rest.

Bidah`, Imam Shafi (ra)

Question:

Asalamalykum,

We Use the quote:
‘Bidah is of two types: praiseworthy and blameworthy. Whatever is in agreement with the Sunnah it is praiseworthy and whatever opposes it is blameworthy.’ (Manaqib Imam Shafi (ra)

The Salafi replied:
Shaykh Ibn Hajar RehmatullahiAlai said:
As for innovations (البدع), it is the plural of innovation (بدعة) and it is everything which does not have any prior example. Linguistically, [the word] encompasses what is both praiseworthy and blameworthy. In the usage of the people of the legislation (i.e. Scholars) it is specifically for what is blameworthy and if it is used in connection to what is praiseworthy, then it is upon its linguistic meaning.

Also I was wondering if you could refute this ? JazakAllah Khairan

Prayer Request: Son Diagnosed with Autism

Request:

Assalamalaikum,
Sultan of Awlia Mawlana Sheik Nazim, Mawlana Sheik Hisham Kabbani and the Whole E-Shaykh Team.
My Name is [private].I have become Mureed (Masha-Allah) of Sultan of Awlia Mawlana Sheik Nazim few months back. I think I don’t deserved to be his mureed when I look at my endless short comings and mountains of sin. I am not even the dust of the foot of my master.
My 2 years and 3 months old son name [private] is diagnosed with autism and I humbly request you to all, especially Mawlana Sheik Hisham Kabbani to pray for my son.

I live in [private] and really would like to visit Mawlana Sheik Hisham Kabbani. How do I know the upcoming events with Mawlana Sheik Hisham Kabbani?

Please forgive me if I have any lack of adab while I am writing this to you.

Angels Still in Sujood

Question:

As-SalaamuAlaikum Shuyukh,

My question is about the verse below:

(7.11) And We created you (pl), then fashioned you (pl), then told the angels: Fall ye prostrate before Adam! And they fell prostrate, all save Iblis, who was not of those who make prostration.

The plural form of you (kum) is used initially and then (thumma) Allah (SWT) tells the angels to bow down before Adam (AS):

How can we have been created and fashioned prior to the incident?

Is Adam synonymous with mankind?

Did Allah’s command include us?

Shaykh Hisham mentioned in a recent sohbah that Allah told the angels to bow down their heads but He never said, “raise your heads ,” The implications are huge:

(75:7-12)
When sight is a shimmer,
And the moon loses lustre,
The Sun is wed with the Moon,
Nowhere to flee, no refuge for man,
All that remains is the One

Answer:

Alaykum salam,

Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) explicitly said that after creating Adam upon him peace, Allah most High brought out his entire progeny from his loins fully fashioned and endowed with speech and hearing; and He took from all of them the Covenant then returned them to Adam’s loins. This answers your first question. As for the second the answer is no, and as for the third, Mawlana Shaykh Hisham and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (Allah bless their secret) explained many times that the whole purpose of the command of sajda to Adam was for the Light of Prophet in Adam’s forehead. And this is mentioned in Tafsir al-Razi and elsewhere.

Dream: Drawing about a dream in a dream

Dream:

AOA, In my dream I am talking to a female thinking how to sort out her problem, she then looks into my sketch book where I show her a drawing about a dream I saw, in it was Kabba on the roof there were 4 cups on each corner,white Birds circulating the Kabba, people doing their ibaddat, on the right side of the Kabba there were lots of stars, on the left side was a part of the earth as one sees from space.I myself was amazed in the dream that how I managed to make such a beautiful picture of my dream.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

A dream of a dream is its own interpretation. This is a blessed dream indicating support of saints. The white birds are angels, and seeing the earth from space means you were visiting not the Ka`aba, but the Bayt al-Mamur, which is the Ka`aba of heavens. Stars represent saints. Being a drawing indicates you are not ready for its reality yet, so only see the image. May Allah grant you the reality of such a spiritual ascension.

Dream: Istikhara- Guidance Required

Dream:

I did istikhara several times for a guy whom I like to go for him or not as I want to get married to him, but we had had a fight: The first time I saw my cousin giving me white mithai delight. Second, I saw a white wall got displaced and i am fixing it with the screws and after adjustment it gets fixed to its place. Third, a white sky and white sword. Forth, I am standing in circle of people on green grass with white rabbits in their hands. Fifth,  Snowfall and then rain and after raining green trees come out and beautiful rainbow on sky and after that I am asking that guy to come back to me and he is bit agreed and asking me to give him time not push him again and again.

Interpretation:

All signs are positive in sha Allah. Trust in Allah and go ahead.

Dream: With Shaykh Nurjan

Dream:

Salam `alaykum,
About 6 weeks ago Shaykh Nurjan came to me in my dream. He was massaging  my back and saying “Oh, you feel tense… I usually only have to do maintenance on you.” In reality for the next two days or so after this dream my back ached ( I usually do not suffer back aches). Thanks for  your time and efforts.

Interpretation:

Alaykum salam,
Shaykh Nurjan here represents Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (Allah bless his secret), tension as opposed to maintenance means you are not progressing as you should so it’s an admonishment and reminder fro Mawlana, a good dream.

Dream: Fish and a Baby

Dream:

Dear Shaykh,
A week before In a dream I saw a fish which was in a risk in its life. I thought it is going to die, so i took it and put in a water lake. Two three days later I drempt a baby was lying on a railway track, and a train came very faster toward baby. The baby was under the train but nothing happened to baby, it survived. I put my hand to take the baby out while the train was running, but my hand didn’t hurt.

Dear shaykh I’m an unmarried one and I want to know whether this this dream has a link to my future life. Is this a good dream or bad dream. Please interpret my dream.Thank you. Wassalam.

Interpretation:

Bismi’llahi’r’Rahmani’r’Raheem.

wa `alaykum salam,

The fish could mean a sadaqa that you should give so Allah (swt) will answer your prayer for a husband. Saving the baby is the miracle and the answer for your prayer. It is a very good dream.

Baby Brother’s Inability to Speak

Question:

Assalamu alaikum ya Sayyidi Mawlana Shaykh Hisham,

My younger brother is 2-years old and he’s having a lot of trouble speaking.
We have requested speech therapists to help with his inability to speak properly, because according to the doctors he’s behind several months in terms of speaking.

My mom and dad are very worried of this matter as well, and i would like to help them so they’re not as worried.

Alhamdulillah i’m glad even when he’s only able to mumble, but is there anything I can do to help aid my son?

Answer:

Alaykum salam,

Take him and his mother to dhikr gatherings or play the sound of Khatm e
Khwajagan in your house often. Give sadaqa and perform aqiqa if not done
already (two sheep or goats).

Trembling During Mawlid & Zikr

Salams, Please kindly explain why sometimes there is  a tremble / thrill on my back when I  hear Maulid Nabi Muhammad & Zikr Khatm Khajagan being recited. It felt like something something shaking from my lower spine to my upper brisket.
