Permission to visit Shaykh Nazim

Question:

Salaam All,
Thank you for this blessed site.
Please may I have permission to meet Shaykh Nazim after the month of Safar with my family.
Jazakallah for your time.
Salaams.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,
Right now here is no permission for visiting Mawlana Shaykh in Cyprus. I’m sorry to say that Mawlana Shaykh is ill and we are not sure when he will be well enough to receive guests. We have been given instructions to let everyone know that there will be no permission to visit Mawlana Shaykh until further notice is given. Please pray for him.

Visiting other shuyookh

Question:

Salaamo alaikum,

May Allah bless you all and raise your maqams endlessly and keep us with Moulana for eternity.

We love Moulana more than all else, at times due to physical distance when maters of fiqh, jinaat, ruquya have arisen in family we have not approached others even though they were closer out of adab for Moulana. There is someone in England who can assist in these matters. When some mashaikh visits Moulana then come sto England to spread deen, I visit them, that they have visited my Sheikh and love him or that they to are Ahle Bayat, some consider this a rolling stone & no moss. In reality I want to visit out of love of Moulana and Islam. What is best adab in this regard.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

It is ok to do that. There are followers of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim who live in far off places, so physically it becomes difficult for their benefit if they avoid the company of the Muslim community entirely. However where it matters to learning the religion, Qur’an reading, Sunday schools, etc you may go to any mosque or ‘Alim for advice, especially if they are well-known for their piety and love for Allah and His Prophet s.a.w.

If you want to visit other Shaykhs, do so out of love for Awliyaullah. They may give you counsel in matters of daily religious issues, but where it relates to Spirituality, awrad, marriage, your direction points only to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim.  Your bay’ah with Mawlana is sealed  even if you feel an attraction to other Shaykhs, your connection with Mawlana will never be broken. You may also post to eShaykh where Mawlana Shaykh Hisham or Shaykh Jibril may assist you.

Dream: Sahaba Karaam (R.A) and Milk

Dream:

Asalamualaikum wrwb,
I, some months ago saw a dream in which a Mawlana gives me a lot of milk to drink. I am drinking it in excess and after some time i stopped drinking. Then mawlana told me to drink it more on which i asked “Why do you want me to drink it more”. He replied “This is ilm (knowledge” and then i see an open ground where lot of people in white shawls are standing. I asked mawlana ” Who are they “. He replied “These are Sahaba”em> Karaam (R.A).

Can you please help me regarding its interpretation?

Interpretation:

Alaykum as-Salam,
Drinking `ilm means putting it into practice, and the sight of the Sahaba in white shawls means the purest embodiment of the Sunna. See if there is something from the Sunna which you used to practice assiduously then you stopped, and try to resume it as before.
