You should have your hearing checked by a specialist who may be able to help.  For any difficulty Mawlana Shaykh Nazim recommends reciting RabbunAllah HasbunAllah daily from seven times to 100 or more.

Istikhara for marriage

Question:

Assalaamualaikum

I’m new to this website and was wondering if you can help regarding marriage. My parents give caste great importance, and I recently fell in love with a boy who is of a different caste and he too is in love with me and we both wish to get married. I was wondering if you can do a istikhara to find out if what im doing is right and should I continue to be with him.

Thank you

Answer:

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,

wa `alaykum salam,
It is a difficult although all too common situation.  Islamically, faith and piety are the primary criteria in evaluating a marriage partner.  Socio-economic status (meaning similar backgrounds or in your case caste) are also a consideration but taqwa is most important for both the potential bride and groom.  If you marry for faith and Allah’s pleasure, insha-Allah the marriage will be blessed and a source of happiness.

Unfortunately, many parents are too picky, rejecting good matches for years until marrying their now older daughter becomes more difficult.  If you and the young man are both happy with each other, try to involve your parents and let them see how your happiness might be sacrificed by them rejecting a good suitor.

{And worship others than Allah,- such as have no power of providing them, for sustenance, with anything in heavens or earth, and cannot possibly have such power?} Surat an-Nahl 16:73

Prayer Request: A house for our family

Request:

Assalamou Alaikum,
My husband and I have been married for about a year now, and we are considering buying a house inshallah. For now, we live in an apartment in the city. We are very happy here, but we are hoping to start a family inshallah very very soon, and there is this little house with a garden that we would love to see our children grow up in. It is in a very small and quiet village near a beautiful lake. Please pray for us to be able to purchase this particular house, and for it to be a blessed place where our family will be happy and safe.
thank you and long life to Sultan Al-Awliyah Mawlana Cheikh Nazim.

Response:

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,

wa `alaykum salam,
We ask for Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Mawlana Shaykh Hisham to pray for the best for you and your family in dunya and akhira.

Dream: Broken statue

Dream:

Assalamu alaykum

May Allah reward you and lift you to ever higher stations.

Last night I had a dream but I only remember a scene of a broken statue. The statue was just lying on the floor, broken into pieces. It may have been of a golden color.

The same night I had another dream. It was in a moving car, both me and my father were in it. The thing that struck me was that my father had a beard like a Wahabi, but it was very short. Or at least I felt as it was some kind a Wahabi beard. The interesting thing is that my father doesn’t like Wahabis (although he is not a very good Muslim himself).

Another time I dreamt a fierce dog who would rip me apart if he could. There may or may not have been a fence between me and him (Can’t remember).

Interpretation:

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,

wa `alaykum salam,
The broken statue shows love of dunya coming down in your heart.  Your fathers “Wahabi beard” indicates a defect in his practice which you mentioned.  The dog is an enemy which was prevented from harming you.  Keep reciting darud/salawat as much as you can for more Divine protection and mercy.

Dream: I just broke my habit!

Dream:

I dreamt that I am meeting with a nun who used to teach me when I was younger.
We are meeting after many years, in the city I grew up in, and it is a pleasant surprise. We are both happy to see each other and start talking and walking when all of a sudden the floor gives way under us and I realize that we were at quite a height and both of us are now falling down.
This is a miraculous falling down because we just descend with our feet down however in the process my hijab falls off. I say – “gee! I just broke my habit” The nun and I laugh at this pun and as we land there is a photographer taking our pictures because this was a miraculous fall!

Interpretation:

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,

wa `alaykum salam,
Insha-Allah you will be able to guide people of different backgrounds to find spirituality.  Ask Allah’s (swt) support and know that He is the One who changes peoples hearts and gives guidance.  Don’t depend on yourself or you will fall down.  And Allah knows best.

Dream: Dreaming Prophet(PBUH)

Dream:

4-5 months ago in a dream I saw a man wearing an armor and riding over a camel and he was distributing what appeared to be the gains of a recent Jihad to those who needed it. He was smiling and in my dream I was certain he is Prophet Muhammd (PBUH) although I cant remember his face. And then he stopped in front of some people, and one of his companions told him these people can’t get married because of their financial situations. Then he distributed a certain amount of wealth to them for their marriage.
And in reality I am facing difficulties to marry the girl I like not because of any financial burden but due to some other factors. Is there any implication of my dream in my real life? And did I really see Our Prophet?

Interpretation:

If you are certain then it was Sayyidina Muhammad (s), and mabruk to you. Yes, insha-Allah as the dream informed you, you will receive support so that you can marry, and this dream shows clearly how the Prophet (s) is:

عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُم بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ

{It grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he most kind and merciful.} (Surat at-Tawbah, 9:128)
