Dream: Ya Hayyu Ya Qayum, Surah Ikhlas, Kabah

Dream:

Asalam o aleikum,
From the past some days I am seeing some dreams like: first I saw ya hayyu ya qayyum written in white then another night I saw that I am in front of a quite high building , standing in front of a quite big door. It seemed like a holy place. On my left I saw that surah ikhlas written and I read the first verse of it. Then in the last one I saw that I am on the first floor with many other people and I see the kaaba. What does it mean ya shaykh? Please help me

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

That is showing you the station of istiqama, steadfast upholding the way of tariqah, and in-sha-Allah it means the Shaykhs are building you to that station without you being aware, and that is the level of Ikhlas, sincerity to Allah and His Prophet (s). And in-sha-Allah seeing Ka`aba means you will go for Hajj in the near future and Allah knows best.

Why Mawlana Doesnt Lecture Oppressive Men

Question:

I cook, clean, look after child, pain in body, everyday husband argues about cleaning, dont go out, don’t socialise, educated, stay home and take child to play at mums, he restricts me too. Doesn’t give money, not even £1 a week. Constantly do housework and care my child. He thinks because Mawlana let him lead zikr, he can sit on his computer and phone all day until 2 am, doesn’t communicate with me, blames me for everything, sometimes slaps me. Calls me dirty and shouts everyday, I do best. Want to stop praying to Allah, want to die. Tyrant-why Mawlana never tells men to be kind to wives? F’riends and sis’s have happy life, Im home tidying, husband shouts, now I shout back and swear at him too, what use is Quran and zikr when he is evil. I dreamt of Mawlana everyday. I wish Allah gives my life to Mawlana.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

In-sha-Allah Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani is praying for you.

Many of Mawlana’s suhbats are addressed to oppressors, men and women. Listen attentively. In fact Mawlana’s suhbats are like cannonballs on the heads of the oppressors.  Be patient in the face of tyranny, Allah always saves the oppressed, but sometimes one must wait.

Beginning anew

Question:

I have lost a lot of things this year.. My faith has decreased and I haven’t been praying a lot. I have a lot of anxiety and insecurities about myself.. I stress a lot about life and I’m addicted to my ipad which I use to search nonsense things on the internet.. I also listen to music a lot, curse, and think about haram stuff..I have gained 20 pounds and seems to keep eating.. I don’t know what to do is Allah mad at me ? I have prayed again and again for forgiveness and guidance… I’m at a lose at what to do just a few months ago I felt like my life was on track and now I’m in a slump please help me.

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Inshaa-Allah try to follow Shaykh Taher’s advice in the Post “Nonsense and Internet Addiction.

As an added piece of advice, start with something small that you can keep every day. If you are not praying at all, try to keep the morning prayer when you wake up or the evening prayer before going to bed. Slowly you can add more prayers gradually. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim always advised even new Muslims not to let one day pass without one single sajdah. If that is all you can do, Allah will be pleased with that worship.

Try to restrict use of the iPad/games/internet etc. at certain times of the day or specific amount of time. Make it difficult for yourself to access it.

It is also very beneficial to be in companionship with good people. Try to spend time with good people, even if it is only one person. Find a good friend who will encourage you to get out of your slump.

Don’t think that Allah is angry with you, it is a trick of the ego to make us feel hopeless and give up entirely. Allah Almighty is the Most Generous and Most Forgiving and He always likes when His servants come to Him, even a small step towards Him makes Him pleased with us.

May Allah make you successful and fill you with hope and love of Allah (swt), His Prophets (saws) and His Awliya. Ameen.

And Allah and His Prophet know best.

Taming the Wild Horse

Question:

Why is the ‘wild horse’ in me is so difficult to tame? I’m so lost in this matter.Expecting too much from my Self? Is there too much heat in me? It seems so. How do I cool down this heat for good. I feel this heat in me will consume me if I don’t douse it soon. Feeling hopeless nowadays. I need a turnaround soon, the sooner the better.

WasSalaam

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Join the crowd.  The only way, Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani says, is the du`a at night after Salat an-Najat.

Dream: power of the hashimites

Dream:

salam

In my dream we were back in the apartment and my aunt said that the thieves came and robbed them and they said they couldn’t fight them off and I said that’s because they’re not descendants of Ali a.s I’m a descendant of Abu Talib, I’m a descendant Ali ibn Abi Talib a.s and I go out side and beat them up. The thieves were young teens and looked innocent but they were there to rob with toy guns. I have posted this dream but I didn’t get the reply so I’m posting it again. It isn’t as fresh as it was when I posted it before.

Interpretation:

Walaikum assalam,

In a dream, a thief represents an illness, deficiency in one’s character, or a physical ailment. Since they were young and childish, I would guess it may indicate some character issue.

Allah knows best,

Dream: flying on a white horse

Question:

Assalamualikum,

Last night I had a dream before waking up for Fajr that I saw a white horse at night, which looked transparent. I heard a voice say to climb this horse and ride it to a tree. I knew where this tree was and I knew which road to take. The horse started flying and I felt so scared that something might harm us out of the darkness. Then I saw the tree in front of me and I was thinking to myself, make little noise so as not to disturb the other creatures in the night. But instead the horse crashed into the trunk of the tree and disappeared. I fell to the ground and immediately I saw my smaller brother fall beside me too. I told him to come quickly and we sat beside the tree and started making Zikr. It was then that the morning came.

Answer:

Walaikum assalam,

Riding a horse in a dream means dignity, honor and wealth. Perhaps it could mean that one will befriend a noble person, or meet a good companion on the road.

Allah knows best,
