Wife threatening to leave Islam

Question:

Salaamu alakum wr wb. Bismillah Rahmaani Rahiim.

My wife has great problems being a Muslima. The major problems she has is accepting the following ahadeeth:

1) “The majority of the people in hell-fire are women.”

2) “I have not seen any one more deficient in intelligence and religion than you (women).”

There has been several other isuues as well, but after some research we have found them to be either misquotes, weak ahadith or taken out of context. Jazaakumullahu Khayran.

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,

(1) The majority of people are women, period. As for Muslim women, they will all be in Paradise without exception.

(2) The contextual meaning is a hyperbole to show that Divine generosity and reward is  just as great for women despite less credit for them in dunya.

Allah Most High said 49:13 … {Truly the most honorable of you [male/female, human tribes] are the most Godfearing.} And He said: 2:195 {and do not throw yourselves by your own hands into destruction.}

Eid ul Azha Qurbani 2012

Question:

Assalamaolikum warahmatullah he wabarakatuhu ya Mashaikh!

May Allah give you all higher stations in Wilayat and may you keep climbing every minute. Ameen Sum Ameen.. May Allah keep all of us under the umbrella of Shaikh Haqqani Rehmatullah and Shaikh Hisham Rehmatullah in this world, our graves and on the Judgement Day. Ameen sum Ameen.

Out of love of Molana Shaiikh Nazim Haqqani Rehmatullah I did one part sacrifice in cow this past Eid ul Azha in his name. Now that I think about it, is it considered as bad manners since I did not take permission? I am confused. If this is wrong please forgive me for my lack of knowledge.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Amin.
Thank you and may Allah reward you.

Fabricated Hadiths

Question:

Asalamualaykum,

Why do scholars quote fabricated hadiths? Leading scholars of hadith such as Shaykh Muhammad al Yaqoubi is quoted this hadith: There is an angel at my head that conveys to me the prayers my Ummah send upon me except on Fridays, I hear with my own ears and I answer with my own tongue…

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,

Every part of this hadith is independently confirmed as true.

Prayer Request: Problems at the office

Question:

Asalamu alaykum Sayidi,

Sayidi, Alhamdulillah, after much misfortune and spending  years inside an apartment, it’s my sponsors here in Kuwait who’ve hired me to work for them at their office. Alhamdulillah, a month has come to pass since I joined them.

Sayidi, almost everyone at the office is nice to me, I’m learning new things pertaining to my job, and I try to keep myself from hurting anyone’s ego. However, there’s this one individual who’s constantly meddling in what I and everybody else is does. I remember your sohba on how there’s a tyrant in every home; He is that tyrant at the office.

Kindly, bestow a recitation upon me, so that he doesn’t harm me in any way, because I’ve become the center of his attention and he constantly tries to keep me from doing my job happily and effectively.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Ya Aziz, Ya Qahhar x100 daily.

Prayer Request: Husband not happy with me

Request:

Assalamu alaikum,
Since our marriage two and a half years ago, I’ve been trying my sincere best to be a good wife, but my husband keeps finding fault with me. He has repeatedly said that I’m not the kind of wife he wanted nor this is the kind of life he wanted. A year ago he almost divorced me. We have a daughter, but i fear a failed marriage or divorce. Please pray for us. Thank you.

Allah bless you!

Response:

Alaykum Salam,

It is weak iman not to give thanks for a faithful loving wife but do your best and in sha Allah he will come around. Recite daily Ya Halim, Ya Wadud x100.

Baya help

Question:

As’salaam’alaikum,

I want take Baya online fromm Hazrat Shaykh Nazim Haqqani(QS). But I’m hesitant as still I do not follow Shariat perfectly like my Fajr namaz I pray kaza and from the other 4 waqts of namaz I am able to perform 2-3 and very rarely I perform Esha namaz. May Allah forgive my sins and have mercy on me. Apart from this I have read that after taking baya we are supposed to do dhikr and awrad as advised on a daily basis. I am worried what if I miss out some days? Kindly advise me.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Five prayers is non-negotiable. As for the rest do your best. Do not think you can follow Sharia perfectly but do your best without making much of it. Whatever little you can do regularly, do. Be with jamaa as it makes everything easy and natural.

Dream: Crosssing Mountains

Dream:

Assalamoualaikoum Shaik,

I am currently going through a lot of troubles. I have lost my job 3 years ago and lost two thirds of my wealth. I am also still unmarried. In this context, please interpret this dream:

I dreamt that I was with 2 other people which i did not recognise and we cross one side of a hill to another side by using ropes (it is similar to crossing a bridge with lot of depths below).

JazakAllah

Interpretation:

Alaykum Salam,

Mountains represent purity and spiritual progress away from dunya even if through arduous tests. Real wealth is being closer with the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) and marriage will help you achieve that.

Prayer Request: Please pray for our family

Request:

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Alluhumma salli ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa Sahbihi wa sallam
AsSalaamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Myself my husband and my children have had to move away from Muslims and our faith is suffering. It is hard to maintain ours and our childrens’ spirituality in a completely non-Muslim environment. We make so much dua to move back closer to Muslims but so far it has been several years and we have not had an opportunity. Please pray for us to have patience and good opinion and strengthen our iman and our resolve to improve our situation. JazakAllah kulli khayr.

Response:

Alaykum Salam,

Learn to make khatm at home every week and read tasbih out loud every day. Follow suhbas online and watch older suhbas as well. Your home is your mosque in the absence of one so build it up with good cheer and learning. Allah will make a way for you in sha Allah.
