Dream: New Born Daughter

Dream:

Aslamu Alaykum,

I have had 3 dreams:
1. I was getting forced to get married from abroad (in real life I don’t want to either)
2. I was on a chat site and didn’t realize I was chatting to my cousin then when he found out we got close physically and had feelings for each other.
3. I had a beautiful daughter which was full of noor and I was feeding her carrots and cucumbers (don’t know who the father was)when I woke up I felt very good).

Interpretation:

Walaikum Assalam,

InchaAllah, the first two dream could be a reflection of your anxieties and hopes. The third dream means you will be given a responsibility to look after.

Allah knows best.

Missing Daily Awrad

Question:

Asalalamu alikum maulana sheikh nazim and maulana sheikh hisham kabbani
Recently I became Mureed of Sheikh Nazim by taking bayath from one of his khalifa,I am unable to ready daily awraad. So I request to Maulana sheikh nazim to provide me any durood which i can recite daily any number of times so i can get the benefits in this word and after the life. and I should be in the supervision of my murshid Maulana Shaykh Nazim.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Because this answer will benefit all readers, we are posting it public, with apologies to you.

Do your best to recite the Wird of the Initiate. If you fail to finish, then next day recite 100x Salawat (allahuma salli `ala Muhammad wa `ala ali Muhammadin wa sallim) in penance per Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani’s suhbat of November 29th, 2007 Here is the suhbat in near entirety:

In every subhat that Grandshaykh used to give and Mawlana is giving, especially on the day of dhikr, they describe that as the Prophet said, in his hadith that from Friday to Friday what is in between waives the sins away, also from the secret of that hadith awliyaullah say that from Friday to Friday, as dhikr usually was done on Friday and as it is Thursday evening it is [part of] Friday, they say that Allah gave the dhikrullah as a mechanism to clean a servant from his or her mistakes that they have done during the week and he always insisted that there is no excuse for not attending dhikrullah, except 3 excuses:

1)      if you are sick, really sick; and

2)       if you have a guest which is coming from far away and you have to host him; and

3)      the third is if you have something very important that you have to do that even if they tell you drop that work and we will give you 2 golden coins, and you still insist to do the work then you can do it, if the work is like that.

If you find the 2 golden coins are better than the work then you have no excuse not to attend dhikrullah.

Dhikrullah is, Allah swt from every Beautiful Names and Attributes  Allah creates angels, from ever Beautiful Names and Attributes  that we recite Allah creates angels and every repetition of the same name Allah creates more angels that will be praising Allah swt and the rewards will be given to those who are doing dhikrullah.

Think how many time we are repeating and as much it goes longer it is better and also as much as there is crowd, you will get reward multiplied on the number of people present. So if you have 3 people together doing dhikr you will not be rewarded as one individual but you will be rewarded as 3 people and if you are 10 people as the reward of 10 people and if 100 people then as the reward of 100 people

So if your recite Allah 30 times and 100 people are present then 100x 30 it is will be written as 3000 for you as Allah creates from each voice angels and their praises will be written for those attending dhikrullah and that is why  it is very important to attend dhikr and we must know we are in difficult times and times of ignorance and darkness that we must do dhikr as much as possible

That awrad that shaykhs give us will clean us of the pollution that we are doing during the day, don’t miss it. And if you miss it do 100 salawat on the Prophet (s) the next day substitute for all the awraad you missed.

A Reliable Hadith?

Salamu aleykum,

I pray and hope your fine. I have a question about the following hadith:

وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: ” كان أحسن عباد الله عنقاً، لا ينسب إلى الطول ولا إلى القصر، ما ظهر من عنقه للشمس والرياح فكأنه إبريق فضة يشوب ذهباً يتلألأ في بياض الفضة وحمرة الذهب، وما غيب في الثياب من عنقه فما تحتها فكأنه القمر ليلة البدر “، أخرجه البيهقي وابن عساكر

Do you know if the hadith is reliable?

Jazakumu Allahu kharyan.

Answer:

`Alaykum as-Salam,

It is part of a long hadith which al-Bayhaqi narrates in Dala’il al-Nubuwwa (1:298-304) and through him Ibn `Asakir in Tarikh Dimashq (3:356-363).

Its translation is:

And ‘Aa`ishah said: “Among all of Allah’s servants, his neck was the the most handsome, neither described as too long nor too short, the part of his neck exposed to the sun and wind [shone] like a silver ewer speckled with gold, the white of the silver shining through as did the red of the gold, and the part of his neck covered by his clothes was as if beneath it were the moon on the night of the full moon” narrated by al-Bayhaqi and ibn `Asakir.

Al-Bayhaqi said “it is narrated by Subayh b. `Abd Allah al-Farghani who is not well-known… except that it generally agrees with what we have narrated in the sound and well-known hadiths hence we narrated it, but we rely on the previous ones” – and it is confirmed by the numerous sound and fair reports and the poetry of the Companions in which the comparisons to bright light and lightning, pearls, and the moon recur.

Re: “I am the Son of the Two Slaughters”

Question:

Assalam `alaykum `Allamah Shaykh Gibril:

My question was in regards to the hadith “I am the son of two slaughters”. Is this a riwayah with any basis within `ilm al-hadith? I read something here ”
45 – ((I am the Son of the two Slaughtered Ones)). Has no base/source (La Asla Lah); “Risalah Latifa” by ibn Qudamah (23), “Al-Lo’lo’ Al-Marsuu’” (81), and “Al-Nukhba Al-Bahiya” by Al-Sinbawi (43)”.

Is this true?

Wassalam alaikum

Answer:

`Alaykum as-Salam,

Al-Sakhawi in the Maqasid said it is chainless in the wording “I am the son of the Two Sacrificed Ones,” and this is what all the sources you cited said: “Baseless in that wording.” I have not seen Shaykh `Abd al-`Aziz al-Ghumari’s monograph on the latter wording, entitled al-Tibyan li-Hali Hadith Ana Ibnu al-Dhabihayn.

However, Mu`awiya (Allah be well-pleased with him) related that a Bedouin once addressed the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace): “O Son of the Two Sacrificed Ones!” (ya ibna al-dhabihayn) i.e. O descendant of both Isma`il (upon him peace) and `Abd Allah b. `Abd al-Muttalib, whom his father had vowed to sacrifice at the Ka`aba but then he was allowed to sacrifice 100 camels instead.

Narrated by:

– al-Tabari in his Tafsir (Turki ed. 19:598 under verse 37:107) and his Tarikh (1:263);
– al-Hakim, Mustadrak (2:554);
– al-Khila`i in the Khila`iyyat (Shamila ed. §605) cf. Fath al-Bari (12:378).
– Abu Nu`aym in Ma`rifat al-Sahaba, chapter on Mu`awiya.
– Ibn `Asakir, Tarikh Dimashq (56:200-201).
– Ibn Marduyah and al-Tha`alibi per al-Suyuti in al-Durr al-Manthur.

Al-Zamakhshari cites it in his Kashshaf (5:224). Neither Ibn Hajar in al-Kafi al-Shaf (p. 239-240 §949) nor al-Zayla`i in Takhrij al-Kashshaf (3:178 §1090) weakened it but the latter mentions al-Dhahabi’s weakening of the chain.

Because it contains `Abd Allah b. Sa`id who is unknown, Ibn Kathir deems it gharib jiddan while al-Dhahabi in Talkhis al-Mustadrak says its chain is “terminally flimsy” (isnaduhu wahin). Al-Suyuti in his Fatawa also considers it “gharib and its chain contains unknowns.” However, the fact that Ibn Hajar cites it in Fath al-Bari suggests he considered it overall acceptable, and Allah knows best.

Note: Hadith scholars do not identify the author of al-Nukhbat al-Bahiyya by the name “al-Sinbawi” but usually by the title “al-Amir al-Kabir.”
