Dream: The Hawqala

Dream:

I dreamed that were renting a house where i grew up. My husband, children, self unpack and a very senior mureed is watching (visible to me only). He said to me you follow a pattern- each time your husband hurts you, you react and then he and so on. i replied – no for the sake of Allah, i kept quiet. as i say this i see all the words that husband used and i feel the pain again. Then i go towards the bathroom – but i float with my head touching ceiling – i see 3 bathrooms in a row, 2 with a man standing in each and third has child – all looking at me and smirking. I say the hawqala and the three of them leave. I go towards the bedrooms and think that when husband gets home i will ask him to give adhan in each room.

I’m confused

Question:

Salaam, I wanted to ask that if stolen money was taken from someone because that money was stolen in time of need .. and now that person understands there sin and have asked for forgiveness and have given the money back but the person doesn’t know who stole there money does that sin get forgiven what does that person have to do thank you please help..

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

This story will give you an answer to your question:

The story is about one who killed 100 men. It’s long so this is the short version. He killed 100 men and asked for forgiveness. He was told by a wise sage to go to place there he will find Allah’s Mercy. But on his way he died. The angels came down to take his soul and started quarreling – one says Jannah the other Jahannam.

So they asked Allah. And Almighty said: Measure from where he came to where he was going. If it is more than half-way place him in Heaven, and if it is less than half-way place him in Hell. So the two angels obeyed the order and found he was only a step more than half-way. So he entered Heaven.

Our strong recommendation to you is to return the money and ask the person from whom you have stolen it to forgive you and ask Allah to forgive you. And make salawat on the Prophet Muhammad (S).

Misunderstood Question!

Question:

Salaam alaykum..
I just wanted to draw ur attention to something :)
In this question: https://eshaykh.com/doctrine/iman-of-hazrat-abu-talib/
The questioner was asking about Hazrat ABU TALIB but the answer was about Hazrat ALI – i understand this was a mistake ..

Plz could u answer about Hazrat Abu Talib?

Jazakallah Khayr!

Could you also enlighten us on the iman of Abu al Hakam? Who did many bad things to the Muslims..

Jazakallah Khayr

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

See the Post “Abu Talib“.

As for Abu ‘l-Hakam, if you meant Abu Jahl, then it is known he was among the polytheists of Quraysh killed at Badr. And only Allah knows best about the iman of anyone.

Dream: Glass Testicles

Dream:

I dreamed I was sitting in church in one of the pews and my testicles began to itch so I put my left hand down the front of my trousers to scratch them, but when I pulled my hand out I had one of them in my hand and I dropped it on the floor in shock, I began to itch again and once again I did the same and the same thing happened. I sat there looking at them, one in my hand and one on the floor and I noticed a slight tear in the one in my hand, when I pulled the skin came off to reveal a glass ball, I quickly picked up the one on the floor and found it to be the same. I woke up feeling worried.

On the advice of a Shaykh I’ve been reciting the dua “Rabbana atina fid-Dunya Hasanatan wa fil Akhirati….” (Quran 2:201) in abundance due to some problems I’ve been having, could this dream be an answer to the dua?

Interpretation:

Yes, the dream is the answer to that du`a, one testicle represents dunya and the other represents akhira.  Being in church indicates the need to focus more on Sayyidina Muhammad (s) through salawat, and doing something so obviously out of adab means you must strive harder in spirituality, and avoid wrongdoing. Being of glass indicates that what you are doing is clear to those around you. In particular, testicles indicate you should do more dhikrullah. And Allah knows best.

Fasting Emergency

Question:

Asalaamu 3alaykum wa ra7matulaah wa barakaatuh

I feel truly ashamed but i have to ask this question:

i haven’t been fasting for many many years, i don’t even know how many months i missed, since 1993/1994 i fasted 1 day here and couple days there and that’s it. i feel really ashamed of myself as a muslim woman..every since i left my muslim country, i neglected Ramadan and prayers..i recently decided to change my life around, i m repenting everyday sometimes i cry when i remember all the sins i have committed ..can you please help me out and tell me how is it possible to make up for those many many months i willingly missed Ramadan fasting? is it even possible to make up for all these time?

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

You are required to make up the days of fasting you missed and keep asking Allah swt for forgiveness. If you cannot bear fasting, in that case you are to feed an indigent for each day missed.
