The spider as it was the making web in circles was growing very small like an inch and then again growing huge… back and forth.. I was hiding behind the door and screaming to mom and brother for help.. I could see my brother in another room with very loud tv on so he was not able to hear me.

Prayer Request: Marriage to him quickly

Request:

Assalamu Alaikum Brother Shaykh
My name is [private]. May Allah (SWT) bless you. I am 24 years old. My parents obviously want me to get marry. I have met this guy at work. My parents know his family so it was easier for my parents to agree. They were okay with him and wantme to get marry to him also. But I am having a problem from his side. As he is the same age as me, still haven’t graduated from college. However, he always says he can manage the whole family situation, but he needs a little more time. My parents are very worried about me and my marriage, I am the eldest daughter. As for me, I feel like I will be happy if I am married with him. Please pray for me to Allah. I want to get married to him as soon as possible.

Response:

wa `alaykum salam,

Make at least 100 times Salawat (Darood Shareef) on Prophet Muhammad (s) daily, with the intention of reaching your aim.

Success is from Allah.

where is the Tomb of Imam Ali (A.S) ?

Question:

Asalamu Alykom waRahmatullah Sayyidi!

With all my love and respect to beloved Shaykh Hisham Kabbani and all eShaykh mashayikh & with apology i’m here to ask a question which is running through my mind for almost 3/4 yrs… I’m an Afghan and I used to go to North of Afghanistan to a city called: Balkh where there is a very huge, beautiful tomb and they say it’s the tomb of Imam Ali (A.S) I’ve been there myself few times but they say Tomb of Imam (A.S) could be in Najaf too, the question which arises is where is exactly the tomb of Imam Ali (r.a)… due to the differences of opinions regarding this issue of Mashayikh, I though this matter could be more vivid to Awliya Allah thats why I’ve asked this question here so I may get the answer from Beloved MSH or if possible from MSN

Ma’salam

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Sahaba and many awliyaullah have different tombs in multiple locations in different countries and these tombs are considered as we say in Arabic, a mash-had, meaning the ruhaniyyah of that Sahabi or waliullah appeared in that place and so the people built a tomb or shrine in that location. The reality is that Allah knows best where Sayyidina `Ali’s (r) burial location is. But, in the tradition of our way, we go with where-ever there is a tomb because that tomb indicates there is a spiritual presence of that wali there and it means du`a there is accepted.

Even when it is very well-known where a certain wali is buried, still there are other locations he has appeared spiritually, which we call mash-had.

Dream: Prophet Mohammad ( p.b.u.h) as a newborn

Dream:

assalam-o-alaikun imam sb!

I saw a dream in 2002 on 29th of Ramadan. I saw Prophet Mohammad p.b.u.h as a newborn. I was holding him in my lap in a beautiful cushion with voices of so many men not visible to me reciting durood-e-ibrahimi. In the dream I’m having this thing in my mind that I have been assigned this duty by Allah that I have to place him high up on a shelf but I’m afraid of being a sinful girl. All of a sudden a ladder appears and I manage to accomplish my job easily. Kindly let me know the tabeer of the dream and pray for me. Thank you!

Performance of Hajj with menstruation

Question:

Is a woman allowed to sit by the stairs in the Haram in Makkah while she has her menses?

Answer:

Yes, if she is a traveller who is there for Hajj or `Umrah. It was narrated by Bukhari that Umm al-Mu’minin `A’isha (Allah be well-pleased with her) said, “I arrived in Mecca and at the time I was in my monthly period. I had not performed the Tawaf of the (Ka`bah), nor had I performed the (Sa`i) between Safa and Marwa.” She continues, “I mentioned this to the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) and he said to me, ‘Do as the Hajji (Hajj pilgrim) does other than performing Tawaf of the (Ka`bah) until you are clean.'”

Mercy of Oceans part -1 page -13

Question:

Assalamualikum Ya Sayyidi Mawlana Shaykh Hisham(qs)
and Shaykh Gibril,

Pls advise what in page 13 of Mercy of Oceans part -1 .
An elderly person 70+ (named [private]) from Pakistan attacking and telling that he found “shirk“( as per his understandings) ,we nouzubil lah…I advise him to go to Cyprus and meet Mawlana (qs) and better understand from Mawlana(qs) or discuss with Mawlana Iliyas Attari (qs) or Peer Syed Irfan Shah Mashadi(qs)..because it is highly spiritual matters and NOT easily can understand for layman…but he ignored…one of mureed of Mawlana(qs) from Sri Lanka told him that this “maturidi” position what Mawlana told in that page….also we do not found any respect from him about awliya allah like Mawlana Shaykh Nazim(qs)….though he claim himself as Sunni, Razvi, Qadiri…..etc..

Allah Hafez,

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Excerpt from “Mercy Oceans” Volume I, pg. 13:

“Allah Almighty is greatest. He is timeless, ever ready, without beginning. He is king. And yet you cannot find a king without a kingdom. Without subjects his kingship has no meaning. Just as there can be no meaning for a prophet without an ummah (nation). Therefore, Allah was ready without beginning, and his servants also were ready without beginning. If there were no people, to whom was He Allah? Was it to Himself? No! A hadith relates: “I was a hidden treasure and wanted to be known.” His people were part of this treasure. He is God to His people, and to each of them He gave a private station in His Divine Presence. There we are always worshipping without need of eating, drinking, or marrying.

“It is a reward for the sons of Adam (peace be upon him). These heavenly stations are fixed. When people come to this world, they have the appearance of beginning, but in reality they were with Allah always, without beginning. We come from Allah and return to Him. You cannot say that we are a part of Him. We are only an appearance of His Power – no more. He says, “Kun fa yakun!” (“BE – and it is.”) Thus, we have our realities in His Divine Presence. Now, in this world, we have only a representation of that reality. This body, and all things of this world, have their origin in the reality of the Divine Presence. We are like a photograph. We, ourselves, are not on the paper, only an image. A rocket is sent into space. Is the power that sent it here on earth or there with the rocket? The power is here, though we may see that rocket going back and forth, seemingly on its own.”

——————-

The “without beginning” of Allah Most High is absolute and applies only to Him, whereas the “without beginning of creatures” here is by definition relative, since they are created. It is like saying that in relation to our knowledge, the knowledge of the Holy Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) is like an ocean without shore and ours is a drop in it; yet in relation to the Divine knowledge his knowledge is a drop in another ocean without shore.

Similarly the “with Allah” of creatures is not the same as His Own uncreated Divine Attributes. So even if the same terms may be used, still we have to make a difference in our understanding. As Mawlana always says, Rabb is Rabb, and makhluq is makhluq; the two can never be the same.

However, Mawlana wishes to draw attention to the relationship of “king” to “subjects”, i.e. Rabb and marbub, and he is indicating that that relationship predates the appearance of subjects in creation and goes back to the creation of souls in a time that may be described as outside time. That is the meaning of his suggestion that subjects are intrinsinc to kingship although of course Allah is King in absolute terms even without subjects, worshipped even before the existence of worshippers, Raziq even without marzuq etc. Cf. at-Tahawi, `Aqida §15: “To Him belonged the meaning of Lordship [even] when there was nothing to be lorded over.”

The speech of Awliya is like poetry and contains motivation and emotion. Mathnawi for example is not meant as a textbook of creed or fiqh. Otherwise the reader might fall into the same mistake as those who criticized Rabia al-Adawiyya, Abu Yazid al-Bistami, Mawlana Rumi and other greats for saying supposedly incorrect statements when they are only motivating us to love Allah and His Prophet (upon him blessings and peace).

And Allah knows best.

Murshed

Question:

Es Selamu Alejkum
Please, can you tell me how to find murshed and to be convinced about him?

Answer:

Wa `alaykum salam,

This best way is to learn about  The Greatness of The Naqshbandi Murshids. We suggest that you read Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani’s book, The Naqshbandi Sufi Way. Then, ask Allah (swt) to guide you through your heart. Ya Hadi!

Here is a suhbat given by Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani that you may, inshaAllah,  also find benefit:  The Heavenly Benefits of Following a True Murshid.

God has differentiated
His signs
for the mindful and far-seeing,
He made them firm
for pure hearts
that follow none
but the paths of guidance.
He gave rational speech
to all who keep on speaking
to our ears,
imploring and singing.
Their speech has bewildered our minds,
but He brought
the light of guidance,
and those were guided
who saw and became manifest
through His lights–
to Him belong the beginning
and the end!

Organ Donation from a Deceased person

Question:

Salam Alikum Mawlana and thank you for your time and endless efforts…

I would like to know if a deceased person can donate organs after his passing away, as in the UK we have DONOR cards is this acceptable in shariah. I have seen a question on Organ donation but I wanted it to be more clear about deceased donation.

Thank you… Almighty Reward you all for your hard work..

Answer:

Wa `alaykum salam,

For organ donation of the dead, Shari`ah-wise, it is not allowed to take the organ from a dead person. But today there are too many fatwa from al-Azhar and different websites of Ahl as-Sunnah wa ‘l-Jama`ah scholars. Some scholars say “yes” and some say “no”, so it is up to them.

Anyone that is doing seclusion can increase his awrad, for example salawat on the Prophet (s) 24,000 daily and Allah Allah up to 74,000. If he has  time, read Holy Qur’an from 3 juz to 11 juz., and the whole Dala’il al-Khayrat daily.

Also, 1000 la ilaha il -Allah, 100 Surat al-Ikhlas , and everything else increase to 1,000 repetitions.
