Reincarnation and past lives

Question:

Assalamou alaykoum wa rahmatullah wa baraktuh,

I was thinking about the issue of reincarnation and past lives after watching this show on lifetime channel http://www.mylifetime.com/movies/ghost-inside-my-child and was thinking about the subject a lot, then i came across this verse:

هو الذی احیاکم ثم یمیتکم ثم یحییکم-Surah Hajj 22:66
And He is the one who gave you life; then He causes you to die and then will [again] give you life. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful. http://quran.com/22/66

Is the verse talking only about resurrection only or does it prove the possibility of reincarnation UNTIL resurrection and final judgement and our final abode eventually.
could the stories from the show be a play from the jinns and shayateens to mess around people’s minds or is there some truth to it.

Prayer Request: Dua to complete the work I start or intend to start

Request:

Salaam alaikum Ya Shaikh Hisham, Ya Shaikh Mehmet. I am very blessed to have the prayers of good people and I ask that you pray for me to find the energy and will to complete the work I start and intend to start. I have become so lifeless. I remain in my room all day. I kept all the fasts and prayed in Ramazan and now I don’t pray at all. My body aches specially my legs and I feel discouraged from praying. I am neglecting my responsibilities. When I start anything, even writing a letter, I don’t finish it. Everything takes much longer than I think it will and I give up.

Bayah with Shaykh Hisham in Birmingham

Question:

Asalamualykum

Alhamdulilah I was privileged to meet Mawlana Shaykh Hisham when he came to Birmingham. A question which I have is that I did bayah with him intending to renew bayah with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. But I read on eshaykh that it is possible to become a mureed of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham. https://eshaykh.com/sufism/how-to-become-murid-different-bayat/

So by doing bayah am I a mureed of Shaykh Hisham? And does that mean that we should do muraqabah with him? Also, earlier this year Shaykh Mehmet visited Birmingham and I thought that he was the full representative of Shaykh Nazim, before I found out that he had three, so I did bayah then and intended it with Shaykh Mehmet. My heart is with Shaykh Hisham but by doing bayah with Shaykh Mehmet first does that make me his mureed?

We continue to repeat, sempiternally if needed, that bayaa is to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (quddisa sirruh). We are his murids in-sha-Allah. As for irshad or the spiritual and practical direction that one needs, follow your heart.

Online Baya’

assalamualaikum, ya shaykh. Before I start, I’d like to apologize if there’s any statement of mine lacks in adab. I once took baya‘ online on a website. The picture of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim was there and it was written there that Mawlana had wanted that particular photo to be put there. After I finished reciting everything, there weren’t any forms to be filled. If I go to link that’s stated here, in eshaykh for online baya‘, there’ll be a few forms that need to be filled (name, email address, etc.) I took online baya‘ early of this year but I haven’t gotten dreams, indicating that my baya‘ is accepted. I haven’t recited any daily awrad until now. Must I renew my baya‘ and fill up the forms in the website? Am I  mureed of Mawlana?

wa `alaykum salaam wa rahmatullah, peace of Allah be upon you and His Mercy and Blessings!

Congratulations on your initiation (baya`) which Mawlana Shaykh Nazim is accepting insha-Allah. We recommend you keep connection with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and his deputy Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani via the websites sufilive.com, haqqanisoul.com and naqshbandi.org.

It is not necessary to see any dreams of the shuyukh to confirm your baya`. Rather most important is to begin your wird/awrad and stick to them without fail.

If you are able to visit the Shaykh this is also recommended, but you must inform us before traveling. We have daily transcription of the Shaykhs’ talks in 10 languages at sufilive.com.

Please begin to practice daily the awrad for the beginners, at the Naqshbandi website.

Hajj al-Akbar

Sheikh this year the day of Arafah which is 9th Dhul Hijja falls on a Friday, therefore is stated it is Hajj al-Akbar, is this indeed the case? If so is there anything extra I must do or should do to gain the optimum benefits?

Prayer Request: Duas For My Spiritual Haal (state)

Request:

Asalaamu Walaykum, Kindly I request all to make lots of duas for me. I need guidance, I really want to feel the spiritual Marifa & Mahabba of our beloved within. I keep commiting the same sins. Due to me not acting upon the MUST’S of my tareeqa I fall into the same pits again. Even though I’m aware of my shortcomings I still can’t stop doing evil. I feel lost & my heart feels dead, keep failing to work on my purification (Tazkiyah). The sexual desire’s keep taking me away from concentrating & making me weak. I don’t want to get married as I want to achieve istiqamah. But then I fear I might die with this evil. I hardly get to go to spiritual gatherings as my near ones fail to understand the importance of them. The environment at home is far from spiritual too. Pray & guide me.

Prayer Request: Sign from Allah SWT for University Admission

Ya Shaykh Hisham Kabbani,

Salam alaikum. My deepest respects for you and Shaykh Mehmet.

This is VERY VERY important for me so PLEASE do reply.

My daughter is applying for admission to universities and there is one special university where we are really praying for her to get in. The current students live in 12 halls. Once when I visited the university with my daughter we had a big iftaar and maghrib prayers in one of these halls. I think it is like a sign from Allah SWT that the student who is assigned to help my daughter with admission questions lives in that same hall where we both have prayed.

Am I right to think it is a good sign from Allah SWT and insha Allah she will get admission in this university?
