Prayer Request: Money stolen

Request:

Blessed Shaykhs,

I once again request your prayers. Somebody has stolen money from my office (about 300 pounds) and cannot find out who is the culprit. In a work environment I find it hard to work with people who might be thieves. Please do pray that the money is returned and the culprit is revealed so I don’t keep him within the company.

Jazak Ullah Khairan and love to all of the Great Shaykhs.

Response:

We ask Allah to protect you and all of us from such problems. Consider what is gone as a sadaqa on your earnings and make intention to pay small sadaqa daily to keep difficulties and problems away. The Prophet (s) said: ma naqasa mal min sadaqa– wealth does not decrease from sadaqa. He (s) also said: as-sadaqa tarudd al bala wa tazeed al-‘umursadaqa repels calamities and increases one’s life.

Taking baya with second thariqah

Question:

Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb,

Hope our beloved teacher MSN and MSH giving good health and longevity by Allah , so they can guiding us to path of light.  Shaykh, I have a question. Am I allowed to take baya with Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah Thariqah in West java Indonesia? Before I had baya with Naqshbandi Haqqani, I was so interest to the Naqshbandi Haqqani Thariqah and I really love my Mawlana shykh Nazim. I’m also interested too with Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah Thariqah. The second question is I have not been practicing daily Naqshbandi practice in continuity, does it affect my allegiance in the Naqshbandi Haqqani? Forgive me because so many obstacles that bothers me to do the practice and I’m so sad about it. Oh shaykh, I really love Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. Forgive for my bad manners. Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh,

It is not recommended.  You will be lost between love of two different shaykhs and attempting to follow two different sets of practices. Keep one firmly and you will be successful insha-Allah, and remember that each tariqah leads to the Divine Presence.

As Shaykh Gibril said in another post:

..all are taking from Rasulillah so maintain excellent relations, love and respect of other shuyukh and their murids as Yadullah ma`a al-jama`ah, Allah’s Hand is over the congregation.

Prayer Request: Heart

Request:

Aslamalikum,

I am not married and the person that I’ve liked for the past couple of years isn’t married either. I am ready to get married and would like to marry him since he is a good person but I’m really shy and nervous to tell him or my family. My parents don’t want me to marry until I am done with getting my degree in college. I’m afraid by then, the guy I like/love will have married someone else. Please give me permission to recite wazifa.

Allahumma layyin qalbi fulan binti fulan kama layyintil hadidi li sayyidina Da`ud alayhis salam

Purpose of this dua is to marry to the one you love.
Thank you. JazakAllah Khair

Response:

`Alaykum Salam,

You have permission but say ‘qalba‘ not qalbi; ‘ibna‘ not binti; and ‘layyanta‘ not layyintil.

The torment of hell coming to an end

Question:

As-salamu alaykum,

Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Qayyim are said to have held the view that the disbeliever will not be punished eternally (http://muridslog.blogspot.com/2009/11/ibn-arabi-and-ibn-taymiyya-on-hereafter.html), and Ibn Arabi claims the same thing in Futuhat. I have been told that this belief is Kufr. Please shed some light on the issue.

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,

This belief was said to violate the consensus but, at the same time, it is not something new and the same was related from greater than those you cited, namely certain Sahaba and Tabi’in who belong to the centuries recommended by the Holy Prophet (upon him blessings and peace); and Allah is able over all things.

Dream: Snakes and train

Dream:

assalam o lekum,
I always dream of snakes. More often I see that I am going to catch a train but every time I miss the train. Please help me to get the meaning of these dreams.
Thank you.

Answer:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa alaykum asalam,
This dream can mean that you are surrounded by friends who are harmful to you, because of sharing your secrets with them they stop you from going forward (catching the train).

And Allah knows best.

Dream: Zikr

Dream:

A stage, with male murids all holding a rose, asking me to join the zkir, then some of my best friends who are women from throughout my life appear and they join in the zkir.

I am standing back as unsure if it is a good thing that the women are joining in with the men. I feel happy but I stay at a distance.

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm

It shows that you are still struggling between your love of akhira and your desire for this dunya. You may try to increase your daily recitation of salawat, Insha’Allah.

And Allah knows best.

Is this man stalking my niece ?

Question:

Asalamu’aliekum wa rahmatulahi wabarakatuh,
Worried for my niece’s safety:
She is a well-known [private] & happily engaged. However, a stranger Sheikh[private] is contacting her. At first it was work related but not now:
He says: He asks Allah about her and sees her in dreams/ claims to travel in time/ space, sees things in the future and conveys them to her. Sometimes he repeats her thoughts & dreams and she gets scared. He says he saw Rasul Allah saws in his dream who gives him something sweet. He says she will get married to her fiance/ have a son but that their paths will cross and that they will be together. Why is he doing it? What should she do?
Very concerned.

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,
Awliya said if you see someone flying in the air or walking on water but he violates a single sunna, know that he is a shaytan, a deceiver, liar and seducer. Let her refuse contact and seek refuge in Allah. In sha Allah that false one will stay away.
