Prayer Request: Hair loss

Prayer Request:

Assalamu alaikum, my sister is having a growing problem with losing hair. She has been doing some treatments but all in vain. By looking at her hair, it looks like artificial, the natural look has also gone. She has been reciting some verses, dua’s but still struggling. She is in Silsila of Naqshbandi-Mujaddadi and the representative from this chain suggested that this is due to bad nazar/magic.

She asked me for prayers and also looking for blessings from Maulana Shiekh Nazim and Maulana Shiekh Hisham.

Ya Sayadi, please pray for her and also suggest any recitation of dua. May Allah raise your stations to very high.

We will pray for her. Let her rub it with olive oil and tell her not to pull it when she is sleeping. Also, recite 100 times, Ya Hakim.

Shadhili Mureeds

3 murids from the Shadili Tariqah have been attending our weekly Majlis Adh-Dhikr and they also explained to me that they are not growing spiritually and more attracted to Naqshbandi Tariqa. I am currently leading the dhikr and would like Mawlana Shaykh Hisham’s guidance on this please.

Prayer Request: Recovery from Schizophrenia and Depression

May I humbly and politely make a special request to you to please pray for my recovery from Schizophrenia and Manic Depression?

We mentally ill people are not liked by anyone; this is heart-breaking for me and I apologize once again for giving you any cause to be upset by me.

Jamaah tablighi boss

assalamualaikum yaa Mawlana Shaykh Hisyam, could you give me a way out about my condition at my office. My boss always taskil me for 3 days or 40th days for iktikaf because my bos is Jamaah tabligh. I’ve already out 40th days in 2010. I’m sorry yaa Mawlana, I don’t ask you first for iktikaf. My heart is empty for that, I’m enjoying dzikir khatm kwajagan on every Thursday. How can I posturing this situation? jazakallah yaa Mawlana.

Dream: Quest

Dream:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

I have this dream from time to time which essentially stays the same but the scenario changes a bit. It starts off with me on a quest for knowledge and physical training on top of a snowy mountain, where I train my mind and body with spiritual knowledge as my guide. I feel that I should live my life like that. I think about this all the time in my daily life. O my Shaykh what does this mean? Sometimes I want to move away from this life of mine and start a new life in Cyprus at the will and command of Maulana Sheikh Nazim. I am not sure if that is the right thing to do and what exactly it means. I have always been a thinker and seeker of knowledge and every time I am in that mode, this situation arises.

Please help me.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Al hamdulilah it is a good sign to see snow because it signifies angelic support and knowledge. It is also a good sign to yearn to devote your life to asceticism and to leave worldly desires. However, it is best to “take it slow” and be consistent by everyday devoting some time to sincere worship and still maintaining your worldly commitments. It is our way to be in this world but not “of this world”.

Assalammualaikum.. Allah love you more and more. Thank you for answering my question about some awliyas who I see have Muslim jinn in front of him.. Now I make intention to visit and musafahah with Molana Sheikh Nazim this year.. I’m asking for the permission.
Now im involved in work of dawah with tabligh jamat.. InshaAllah when Mahdi a.s. come, all the haqq Islamic movement will be united under his flag.
Ya Sheikh, is kaabah under MSN’s protection? Because I always see him in kaabah during solat and every time.. I believe he has the power to make his body smaller than the atom..

Dream: From 10 years ago

Dream:

aslamualaikum Shaykh Hisham
I dreamed the following dreams over 10 years ago at different times. I was a mureed of a different Shaykh then.

1. God is beautiful and loves beauty

2. During itikaaf, last 10 days of Ramadan, I wanted to see Prophet. I was doing zikr of a salawaat and not able to finish it, I was overcome by sleep. I saw in a dream a beautiful young man dressed in white jubba, neat/short black beard. As he came in I felt peace. He looked me in the eyes. I was kneeling down with a book with Quranic surahs, which I used in reality. He then left and I saw a tangerine in my hand. I ran after him to give it to him and he had gone. I went down the house, one level had a room being decorated. At the bottom level, my father was talking to some religious bearded man. (This dream was when I was unmarried)

Interpretation:

Alaykum as-Salam,
The first dream represents the literal Prophetic hadith to that effect. In the second dream the holy person is a representative of the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) in answer to your wish. The tangerine represents your pious state as a reader of Qur’an, also in illustration of the hadith to that effect.

Tayammum

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakutuhu,
We live in a city apartment and sometimes there is a shortage of water (lasting several hours to a day). Is there some sort of modern-day tayammum in this case to replace gushl? Sometimes water is not enough for wudhu, as we first need to conserve drinking water. What could be done then?

In the winter there is the same problem that sometimes there is no warm water for hours and if we should take gushl with cold water we might catch cold. Also if I already have the flu, taking bath even with warm water might make me more ill, as there is no heater and winter air is very cold. In these cases, may gushl/prayer be delayed or is there some sort of alternative? Thank you, Salaam

Interpretation:

In all of the cases you described, tayammum is permissible, and Allah knows best.
