Dream: Repeated dream of my sister

Dream:

Salaam alaykum,

Since maybe one year I have been having a dream of my older sister whom of which is serving time in prison. What happens is she is allowed to come out and visit the family on the weekends. Sometimes I see her during her visit and sometimes I miss her due to lack of time & she has to return to jail. Please help me to understand what this means.

Thank you,

Interpretation:

wa ‘alaykum salam

Your sister needs your time and help. Reach out to her and support her to get out of her “ditch”.

Dream: God is Denied His Rights

Dream:

Kindest teachers, a few months ago I emailed the Sufi Center in Berlin for interpretations of dreams I had. Recently, I had the following dream with advice that repeated itself. The first dream: I dreamt I was sitting at a table across Shaykh Ecref Efendi and that he tossed a cup of tea onto my right palm and then read my palm. He then told me (paraphrased): “There are three ways God’s rights are denied through you – one through the stomach, two through the feet, and three through the head (or mouth? I’m uncertain).” The second dream a few weeks later: I saw my mother dressed in black in a black room and she said to me: “God is denied his rights to you by your stomach, your feet, and your mouth.” This dream ended with a young man whispering the name ‘Owais’ to me before I woke up.

Interpretation:

Denying God’s Right through the stomach is from overeating and backbiting; through the feet is through walking towards sin and walking away from goodness; through the  head is by hearing wrong, seeing wrong and speaking wrong.

‘Owais’ is a reference to the Uwaisi connection to a master who has passed on to the afterlife. About this Shaykh Hisham Kabbani wrote, in Classical Islam and the Naqshbandi Sufi Way:

In this form of spiritual transmission, the spirits meet in the world called `alam al-arwah (the world of spirits) which is beyond `alam al-ajsam (the material plane). Whoever takes knowledge through spirituality from a deceased Master in the Naqshbandi Way, is called both Uwaisi and Naqshbandi. That spiritual connection is as powerful and effective as the physical connection.

The sign of the Favor of Allah Almighty and Exalted on his servant is to authorize one of His saints to uplift that servant to the Divine Presence. That is why many saints who came in previous times were guides for those who came after through this spiritual (Uwaysi) connection. It is known that many saints have been under the guidance and training of prophets and other saints that lifted them up.

and Allah knows best.

Ultra sound and cesarean
Échographie et césarienne

Question:

as-salamu alaykum ya Sayyidi

I am 31 yrs old and expecting my second child. During first pregnancy, I went through a tough time with the doctor because I didn’t want ultra-sound or cesarean. The country I live in has very bad patient-doctor relationships. When I was admitted in the hospital she said the baby is in danger due to less fluid in the womb and she had to make cesarean. I did not agree and requested for artificial inducing of labour but she refused and said I should go som where else. We had to give in as we were pressurized to keep quiet by our mothers.

Doctors are telling me that I will have a cesarean again as my first baby came that way but I can’t imagine that. How can I ensure a normal delivery for this baby and also not get ultra sound?

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Allah does not expect each person to fix the health care system in their country or to do the impossible or to be their own physician. Try to find a physician who respects your beliefs and wishes early on and who can work with you on completing a safe pregnancy. Every physician or midwife has a different point of view on practice and insha’Allah you will find one whom you respect and who respects you.

While every surgery can have its complications, surgery in general is allowed in Islam when a trustworthy physician sees it is necessary to avoid worse problems. Since medical care involves a lot of difficult decisions that may need to be counterbalanced, it is important to have a good physician to guide you through.

Question:

Answer:

Tafsir Surah ‘Abasa 1

Question:

Assalamu’alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh Ya Sayyidy, Ya Habinana, Ya Mawlana.

I want to get some explanation from you. I got an explanation from someone that tafsir QS.80:1 (“The Prophet frowned and turned away”) is not Muhammad SAW, it is false because Rasulullah could not do like that and it is not The Prophet’s character such as explanation in QS.68.4 (“And indeed, you are of a great moral character”). So, the man in QS.80:1 above is Al-Walid bin Mughirah (QS.74:11, “Leave Me with the one I created alone”).
Jazakumullah khairan katsira

Answer:

`Alaykum as-Salam,

Yes, this is an explanation forwarded by Imam Fakhr al-Din al-Razi in his book `Ismat al-Anbiya’. However, in his Tafsir (Mafatih al-Ghayb) he cites the consensus of Ahl al-Sunnah that the verb “He frowned” does indeed refer to the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) and this is confirmed by all the Sunni exegetes. In the first book he said that even if it were indeed the Prophet (s), his gesture never contradicts 68:4 and was only because he was so keen on making the Message reach those who were not yet accepting it among the Quraysh leaders as in 18:6 and 26:3, while the blind man was already a Muslim.

Seeking spiritual support

Request:

May Allah bless the Holy Nabi (saws), his family and ummah. May Allah delight the Saints with His mercies, and sustain the needs and hopes of His seekers.

Thank you for your dua’s, Alhamdullilah I’ve been given a promotion at work with a substantial salary increase.

After a dream of mine was interpreted, I faced the matchless honor and serious responsibility of what it meant for my ibadah, and I embraced wholeheartedly that challenge. Allah made it easier for me to fulfill my duties, but as time has gone on the necessary dunya concerns have weighed on me. I don’t want to lose touch with that reality which began as something most meaningful to me.

Please make dua that my character will not be overcome by the worthless details of day-to-day life, and that I will succeed in the journey to regain fitra.

May Allah forgive my weakness and failings.

Response:

Amin, Mawlana Shaykh Hisham will pray for you.

Continue to connect to Mawlana Shaykh Hisham through your daily devotion and give sadaqa every day to the intention of strengthening that connection.

Dream: Grandshaikh Abdullah

Dream:

In May, 2009: Grandshaikh Abdullah (q) and I are siting on the floor facing each other. He is throwing 2-3 stones with one throw and I am catching them and throwing it back to him to catch. When the stones come to me, they arrive all together and in a straight line . I am throwing them back to him but my throw is not perfect or correct. He shows me how to throw them correctly. I follow his technique and am able to throw them correctly so they all reach him at the same time for him to catch. Then, on the floor, there is an odd stone head between me and him. It seems to be a skull (human head) made out of stone but the chin is very elongated. The stone head is between Grandshaikh and me and I am touching and examining it.

Interpretation:

The dream signifies Khatm al-Khwajagan and shows that you are under the direct care of Mawlana Shaykh `Abd Allah (Allah sanctify his soul). The skull signifies leadership and its elongated chin points to a long beard, meaning Mawlana Shaykh Hisham who is the link between you and Grandshaykh.

imam abu hanifah weak in hadith

Question:

salaam, why did imam bukhari critisise imam abu hanifah as being weak in hadith or is this a forgery on imam bukharis name..thank you for your time

Answer:

`Alaykum as-Salam,

That criticism was due to differences in legal doctrine. See more at:

Dream:

salam aleykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,

I saw a dream in which I am in an apartment with a man and his 10 year-old son, the TV is on high, the man walks out, the child walks and suddenly shouts out while stopping his ears as if to play. When I start praying I am outside with Mevlevis, they pray standing with one foot on a bench and arms forward, I am facing the opposite direction, I hear the beginning of their prayer which is not Fatiha (I don’t remember in what language), I try to concentrate and begin to recite Fatiha.

May Allah bless you and your family and give you long life and good health as well as to Sultan al-Awliya Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani.

Interpretation:
`Alaykum as-Salam wa rahmatullah,
Amin, and to you and yours also. Reading Fatiha in dream means your du`a will be answered, your religion will be protected, the gates of goodness will be opened for you and the gates of harm will be closed. Seeing the Mevlevis in prayer right after the man’s apartment means that man or his place will facilitate remembrance of Allah Most High.

Reve:
