Dream: Tranquility and Beauty

Dream:

As Salaamu alaikum,
I dreamt last night that my being was in a state of complete tranquility and that i kept re entering my house (which was not the home I live in but in dream it was my house) each time entering noticing how beautiful my house was

May Allah Forgive me
May Allah Bless and continue to raise Mawlana

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

{Alladheena amanoo wa tatmainnu quloobuhum bi-dhikri Allahi alaa bi-dhikrillah tatma’inna al-qulub,}
{Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah. for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.} (Surat ar-Ra`d, 13:2)

That means the true remembrance of Allah your heart, for “the heart of the believer is the House of the Lord.” Insha-Allah what you received of spiritual “medallions” from your Shaykh in the dream you will taste in dunya life.

Signed a contract

Dream:

assalam alleikum wrwb,

My dream began with me being in front of people talking about Islamic issues. Then someone presented to me a paper that I had to sign which was about agreeing to some Islamic teachings. Then a little girl whom I know looked at me and smiled but her faced changed as she said to me some words to which I can remember Allahuma samawati wal ard... If I can know the meaning thank you.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam

Signing a contract points to power or marriage or improvement in your spiritual state.

The verse the little girl recited is from Surat al-Zumar 39:46:

{Say: O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of the invisible and the visible! Thou wilt judge between Thy slaves concerning that wherein they used to differ.}

To dream of that surah points to safety in your religion and a good end, and to hear the verse itself from a child signifies that Allah will protect your innocence against injustice in sha Allah.

40 days after death

Question:

A.s.
Maulana Shaykh Nazim Efendi said that 40 days after someone dies the soul leaves this world. Does anyone know the hadith according to that?
Is it mentioned to read Surat-ul Yaseen after 40 days?
I will learn to wash the jenaza and our teacher told us that there is nothing like 40 days. She said it’s only a habit.
Thank you very much in advance
Wa salaam

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

A hadith states: “No Prophet dies and remains in his grave except forty mornings, until his soul is given back to him” (al-Tabarani and Abu Nu`aym from Anas). Ibn Hajar considers it a fair narration in Talkhis al-Habir.  Al-Bayhaqi mentions it in his monograph on the life of Prophets in the grave and says: “Meaning, they then become like the rest of the living, and are wherever Allah makes them reside, and another narration states: ‘They are not left in their graves except for forty nights, but [then] they pray in front of Allah Most High until the trumpet is blown.'” Al-Munawi said in Fayd al-Qadir: “This is because they are like martyrs; rather, their lives are higher than that of martyrs, and the latter are {alive, with their Lord, and provided for} (Q 3:169). The purpose of specifying their being ‘with Allah’ is to allude to the fact that their life is not visible to us. It is more like the life of the angels. It is likewise with Prophets.”

So if this is true of Anbiya it is true of their inheritors since the Holy Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) said: “The `Ulama [i.e. Knowers of Allah] are the inheritors of Prophets” (Sunan and Musnad); and if it is true of their inheritors then it is true of their followers since the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) said: “A person is with the one they love” (al-Bukhari and Muslim, Sunan and Muwatta‘) and this means in life and in death and resurrection as well, by consensus of the commentaries.

Yes, there remains a connection of the souls to their respective graves but they are not confined there, hence the saying of Salman al-Farisi and Anas b. Malik (Allah be well-pleased with them): “The souls of the believers are in an earthly barzakh (isthmus-life) and they roam wherever they please” (Ibn Abi al-Dunya, al-Mawt; Ibn al-Mubarak, al-Zuhd; Ibn Sa`d, Tabaqat; see Ibn al-Qayyim, Kitab al-Ruh, Question 15). They would never say that unless they knew it from the Prophet. The same is famously  related from Imam Malik. Ibn `Abd al-Barr said: “The souls are on the thresholds of their graves. This is the soundest position – and Allah knows best – because the hadiths to that effect are better and more firmly transmitted than others, and the meaning to me is that they might be found at the thresholds of their graves; not that they never move from
or part with the thresholds of their graves, but just as Malik said” (Istidhkar 8:354-355 §11849-11850, Kitab al-Jana’iz, bab jami`al-jana’iz). This scenario is mentioned among eight other positions by al-Shawkani in his brief treatise entitled Bahth fi mustaqarr arwah al-amwat (paper concerning the resting-place of the souls of the dead).

The 460-page dissertation Ahadith Hayat al-Barzakh (Hadiths concerning the life of the Barzakh) by the contemporary Muhammad b. Haydar b. Hasan ends with ten main conclusions, among them that “the soul [of the believer] remains connected with the bodily remains and the grave while its heavenly body (jirm) is in heaven (al-sama‘) after parting with the body, like a sunbeam falling on the ground although originally connected to the sun.” And Allah knows best.

May Allah have mercy on our souls here and hereafter.

How to remove evil jinn from new house

Question:

To our most beloved masters, Assalaamu Alaykum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatuh.

My wife had a dream that MSH visited us to bless a home we were moving into. After that dream my wife started looking for houses to rent (previous to the dream we were going to move into another apartment complex). We found a house that is very nice, similar in style to the home of MSH in MI. However, when we viewed it I (and two of the children) felt that there was an evil presence(s) in it. Should we move into this house, or not? If we should, please tell us exactly what we should do to rid the home of any negative energies or evil spirits. We have fatiha water and wudu water from MSN.

Forever in your service.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh,

Make one completion (Khatm) of Holy Qur’an when you buy the house and make a dhabiha and give the meat as sadaqa.

Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani

Question:

Hearing a voice after dhikr
Entendre des voix après le dhikr

Dream:

As Salaam Alaykum,

During Rajab, I made dhikr… once, in the morning I heard after fajr a voice inside myself saying “I open my kingdom to you”. First I thought about God, then immediately i understood in a spontaneous way, that this voice was ‘not’ sended from Allah but from the Prophet, peace upon him. I wondered, is it possible that sheytan or ego plays with the mind by interpreting this way after hearing something ? If not, does it mean anything in this life ? Or is just somehow a “symbolic” thing II have to understand carefully ?

May Allah bless you all.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Shaytan cannot speak or come as the Prophet (s) in a dream. This is really the voice of  the Prophet (s). Be happy and do salawat more on Prophet.

Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani

Dream: Shaykh Nazim gives me a test
Rêve : Shaykh Nazim m’a testé

Dream:

I was standing across the road from my theater standing with a family dressed in the colonial. A girl had about three cuts on her finger and her mom asks me if I can go and get them water so that she can wash the girl’s finger. I nearly get run over when crossing the road. I enter the theater and find myself in a bar. Shaykh Nazim appears and asks me what I am doing, I tell him. A girl comes and I do not like her. She offers to go and I say NO! I go inside of the kitchen of the bar and I see a tap and when I open it only wine comes out. I see a tap with a rotating base. I get water in two canteens with much difficulty. Then Shaykh Nazim comes and empties the water and says This is their test from Allah(swt)

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

It explains itself: don’t interfere with people; keep to yourself and your family. May Allah swt bless you. Salam

Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani

Une jeune fille arrive et je ne l’ai pas appréciée ( i do not like her).

Salam

Disillusioned

Question:

I am lost, I need guidance and I need answers. I feel that the only person capable of giving them to me, giving me something substantial, is Shaykh Nazim (R.A) . I get no answers or any feeling at the mazaar of my great grandfather. If it is possible I would like to speak to Hazrat directly. If that can be arranged I  might get my faith back.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

That is because you cannot make the connection with your grandfather without a living Shaykh. Mawlana Shaykh will connect you back. Take initiation (online) and begin a fresh start, insha-Allah.
