Dream: Seeing Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him

Dream:

can you tell me what it means:

1) if Rasulallah (s) gives you a hat in your dream?
and
2) if you sleep next to Rasulallah (s) in the same bed?
and
3) if you drink their urine, blood, siliva, sweat

Interpretation:

1) leadership for you and help from him
2) you will receive goodness from him
3) It means facing tests, and Allah knows best.

Son’s dream from Eid Fitr 2007

Dream:

May the peace and blessings of Allah Almighty descend upon Rasullullah (saws) continually, his family, and ummah. May all believers be rightly guided by the Lights given by Allah in all ages.

This is a dream my son had when he was 5 (he is now 8). In his dream he was playing among “thousands” of white boats that were on a cement beach. He said each boat had boxes in them which contained miniature people and miniature houses. He was trying to play with these miniatures inside their boxes. Then an angel appeared (regular size), as well as Prophet Adam (regular size). My son said he knew it was Prophet Adam because he was unclothed but yet unaware of it and unashamed. The angel was holding a box, and opened it to show a book, which he gave to Prophet Adam. The angel then told Prophet Adam that the book was instructions on how “to do good things”.

Interpretation:

A`udhu Billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Alfu Alfu salaatu wa salaam ala Rasulillah wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa salim
As Salaam `Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

Masha Allah he sees the angel and Prophet Adam (as), and that is good.

Being at the shore represents Oceans of mercy and knowledge and the hard surface is that your son inshaAllah will have a good foundation in his life without wasting too much time.  The boxes are units of time. Seeing Prophet Adam (as) represents Heavenly Knowledge `Ilm al Yaqin.  As Quran says “And We taught Adam the Names of All things” (al-Baqara, 2:31).   Continue to teach good adab and love for the prophets and angels to inspire good deeds in your family life.

Dream: Am I accepted as a Murid?

Dream:

Assalam.o.Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu.!

Accept my Love and Salam Ya Sayyidi (q). I thank you and the staff of eshaykh for such nice interpretation of my previous dream..I need to know the interpretation of another dream that I had last night..I have always worried weather I am accepted as a murid or not by Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) May Allah Bless him and give him long life Aameen. I always ask Mawlana through Rabita to tell me weather I am accepted as your mureed or not…

I saw in the dream that Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) ordered me to enter the mosque. He was also present in the mosque. After receiving the orders of Mawlana, i entered the Mosque. A Young man (with black beard on his face) came close to me and welcomed me, then that young man asked Mawlana about me and said ” Does he have good Luck?” Then he said himself ” Off Course he is lucky because you (q) have allowed him to enter the mosque”
this is the end of the dream.

May Allah Bless You.

Thank You.

Interpretation:

Aoodhu Billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Wa `alaikum Salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatu.

To be concerned about acceptance as a student of Mawlana is a sign of Iman. It is good to be between fear and hope (raja and khawf), avoiding to be overconfident about our station of nearness to the Shaykh, but also being happy with knowing and loving him. Sayyidina Abu Bakr (r) was reported to have said that until both his feet were in Paradise he did not feel safe.  And the Prophet (s)  said in his famous hadith “…people will be raised with whom they love.” InshaAllah your love is accepted and a sign of this is being in a dream in the Mosque of Mawlana. May Allah accept us as Lovers of Him, His Prophet saws and his Awliya.

Salat najat

Question:

Assalâmou ‘alaykoum,

Bismillahirrahmânirrahîm,

Please, can you give me some details about the invocation we have to say in salat annajat. I don’t understand when I do tell it.
Barâkallâhou fîkoum.

Answer:

The details of the awrad and the daily practices are in the book The Naqshband Awrad of Shaykh Nazim.

In answer to your question, from the book:

Salātu ’n-Najāt, the Prayer of Salvation, is prayed according to the following steps:

In the first rak`at read Sūratu ’l-Fātiha as usual.

الفاتحة الشريفة

This is followed by reading the Verse of the Throne (2:255) and (3:18-19), and (3:26-27).

Āyatu ’l-Kursi (The Verse of the Throne)

CHAPTER 2, VERSE 255

Allāhū lā ilāha illa Hūwa ’l-Hayyu ’l-Qayyūm, lā tākhudhuhū ’s-sinatun wa lā nawm, lahu mā fī ’s-samāwāti wa mā fī ’l-arļ. Man dhā-ladhī yashfa`u `indahū illā bi idhnih ya`lamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā khalfahum wa lā yuhīţunā bi-shay’in min `ilmihi illā bimā shā’.

God! There is no god but He – the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).

God speaks the Truth.

Chapter 3, Verse 18-19

Shahid-Allāhu annahū lā ilāha illa Hū. Wa ’l-malā’ikatu wa ūlu ’l-`ilmi qā’iman bil-qisţ. Lā ilāha illa Hū al-`Azīzu ’l-Hakīm. Inna ’d-dīna `ind Allāhi ’l-islām.

سورة آل عمران 18-19

God bears witness that there is no god but He—and the angels and men of knowledge—upholding justice; there is no god but He, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. The religion with God is Islam.

Chapter 3, Verse 26-27

Qul ’illāhumma Mālik al-mulki. Tu`tī ’l-mulka man tasha’u wa tanzi`u ’l-mulka mimman tashā’u wa tu`izzu man tashā’u wa tudhillu man tashā’u, bi yadika ’l-khayr, innaka `alā kulli shay’in qadīr. Say: O God, Master of the Kingdom, Thou givest the Kingdom to whom Thou wilt, and seizest the Kingdom from whom Thou wilt, Thou exaltest whom Thou wilt, and Thou abasest whom Thou wilt; in Thy hand is the good; Thou art over all things Powerful. Thou makest the night to enter into the day, and Thou makest the day to enter into the night, Thou bringest forth the living from the dead, and Thou bringest forth the dead from the living, and Thou providest for whomsoever Thou wilt without reckoning.

Rid me as well, O my Lord, of the blameworthy ego of the child and reprehensible manners. And, O my Lord, change all my manners to laudable manners and into good actions.

Dream: Wet Roti

Dream:

Auzobillahi Minushaytaanir Rajeem ……… Bismillahir Rehmanir Raheem

Assalam o Alaikum wa rehmatullahi wa baratuhu from me and my mother,

Ya Sayyidi, I am writing this question regarding a dream of my mother who is also a mureed of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim(q). She saw herself and my father and two maids in the house eating together on the table mat, and it starts to rain. The rain gets stronger and mom said to one of the maid to take the roti (bread) or it will be wet.. but it was already wet… and the maid takes the roti underneath the wet roti. The roti she took is dry and she passes the roti box to my mom, and my mom is left with wet roti.

My mother often sees herself with her deceased father, hugging him or being with him. Once she saw him by the riverside and he puts his hand in water, takes out a fish and gives to my mother.

what do these dreams mean?

Interpretation:

wa alayum salam,

Rain represents mercy, roti in Arabic is `aysh, which means “way of living”. So this indicates your mother’s life will undergo transformation receiving more mercy. And that is due to a renewed connection with the spiritual dimension, represented by the wet roti, as opposed to the dry roti, which refers to the obligations and conditions of the din, which had been more of a focus before.

Seeing her deceased father hugging her means he is in a good spiritual state in the afterlife and passing spiritual secrets to her. Handing her a fish means her provision is being blessed by Allah.

How to develop self control on eating?

Question:

Dearest Shaykh, Assalamu alaykum,

Wishing you well from the bottom of my heart. Please could you tell me what to recite etc as I wish to be free of being like an animal.

I like tasty food very much since childhood, but I also take anti-psychotic medication (without which I can’t survive my manic depression, I feel) which makes me feel very hungry and I do not feel satisfaction from eating unless I overeat. I fear Allah, but not enough, I would say, regarding becoming ill from overeating and wish to gain control over my overeating. Please could I ask you humbly to advise this poor, female, wretched animal-like mureed, who should feel even more ashamed of not having more self-control? Thank you.

Answer:

The cure for eating too much is to develop three traits: to listen, to look and to think:

1) learn to listen to your heart and your conscience. They will send signals when to stop.

2) look at how much you have already eaten,

3) consider what will happen if you eat more… according to the hadith, “we are a people who do not eat until we are hungry and when we eat we don’t eat our fill.”

All this will be developed by learning to do rabitah, connection with your Shaykh insha-Allah. See How to Make Rabitah.

Recite 100x before each meal laa hawla wa laa quwatta illa billah il-`aliyyi’l-`azheem.

Before eating read the Du`a of eating, the invocation for eating of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim.

Be sure to consult with your personal physician in any form of dieting or food reduction.
