wiping over the socks

Question:

As-salaamu alaykum blessed servants of Allah!

What kind of socks can we wipe over? I was told I can wipe over cotton socks, and even if they have a small hole in them it is okay. Someone else said I can’t wipe over cotton socks, they have to be thick woollen socks! I have seen people wiping over sheer stockings too. Will be most grateful if you can clarify this issue for me.

May Allah reward you endlessly.

Dream: Creatures

Dream:

Assalamualaikom!

A week ago I had a dream that I was with my cousin, and all of a sudden there were these two/three black creatures there, like cats/lions, smaller than lions. They wanted to attack me and it was really scary and frightening, their eyes were really scary I was holding myself back from them. Then there was a White creature sitting in my cousin’s lap, it looked really peaceful and she told me to come for this one and that it won’t hurt. I have a feeling it’s to do with marriage because before I came into tariqa, I saw a dream of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim dressed in White looking really young and presenting me with a huge cake, and he had a White creature in his hand, I had that dream interpretered and they said Mawlana has chosen for me a husband.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam

In light of the previous interpretation of the white creature, the black creatures represent negative forces or people in your life that you may be drawn to but need to be wary of because they may “harm” you. Keep your heart and your attention open to finding the “white” one.

a vision

Dream:

Asalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barkatuhu

It was a vision as though I was between awake and sleeping. I was whirling I wanted to put my arm in the whirling position but when I look down to see, my hands were already in the position. The next thing I know I was layed down on my bed I could hear a man singing beatifully in arabic, the singing started to get closer and closer I couldn’t understand what he was singing about but tried to remember the words he sung. He then said Asalamu Alaikum. I replyed walaikum asalam. I asked who am I going to marry and if I was going to marry him.he spoke back to me but because he spoke in arabic I couldn’t understand what he was saying but i heard him mention my name. I had a feeling that he was going to meet with the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. So I said send my salams to the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w . Then the man said his salams and I said mine and he was gone.I was still on my bed I saw a man approching me but I didn’t feel afraid. It was dark so I couldn’t see his face I could only see that he was tall with slim to medium built. He was walking towards me and I signaled with my hand that it was ok and he could sit on my bed.the next thing I hear is children playing, laughing and water splashing.

May ALLAH swt shower you with endless blessing.

Interpretation:

This was not the person you were going to marry it was one of the awliya who watches over you. Though your mind didn’t understand what he said its ok because the message was for your heart. Alhamdulilah you sent your salam to Prophet [sas] that is good tidings for you.

purple light

Question:

selam aleke
I’m an English convert my sheikh is Shaykh Nazim Haqqani. I would like to know what does it mean that purple flashes of light which I see all of the time? May Allah bless you

Answer:

Purple flashes of light is the spiritual energy coming from Mawlana that he is sending to you, mash’Allah most people cannot see it so it is a good sign that your heart is open to receiving it. Insh’allah it increases in strength to being inspirations with the light or in the
vision of Mawlana himself.

Imam of Khatam Khwajagan

Question:

Assallaamu Alaiikum,

Dear Syaikh, I often work in a town where there is no zawiya. I sometimes travel around with my friend that is also a member of Naqshbandy Haqqani muhibbin (just like me). Is it allowed for us to do Khatam Khwajagan in jamaah of only the two of us? How do we choose the imam among us if this is allowed.

Syukron Ya Syaikh,

Wassallaam

Answer:

Our shaykhs teach us that leadership is a responsibility to avoid unless appointed. So defer to your brother, and ask him to lead. The one who leads a jama`at carries the responsibility of all the followers, so, as Shaykh Hisham so often says, “run away from leadership and positions.” Since there are only 2 of you, to avoid dispute take turns or follow a CD.

Dream: Invitation to a Monestary

Dream:

salam alaykom

Yesterday i was crying in public and there was a nun who saw me. She approached me and asked me if I’m ok. I said yes thank you. And she said you are Muslim correct? I said yes. And she said it’s ok to be Muslim, we don’t care what religion you follow. She asked me for my first name. And I told her. She said she would pray for me tonight and ask all the nuns in the monastery to also pray for me. She was very very sweet and caring, especially since she doesn’t know me and didn’t have to help me at all. She gave me the address to her monastery and also the website. She said I’m welcome to come visit her any afternoon in any day. She said she wished to give me a tour of the monastery and introduce me to other sisters. In the end, she said we don’t convert people. We are accepting you as you are don’t worry God loves you. And she asked me if she helped me today and I said she was very kind and gracious and I appreciate it. And she smiled and said she hopes I come soon and left.

Last night I looked at her website and realized that those who are given tours and invited to meet the other nuns are going through a process to see if they wish to become a nun. The next step after that is for them to invite the person to spend 6 weeks to live their life as a nun doing all the things the nuns do and then to go home and decide if this is the life they wish to lead. Anyway, I read the rest of their website and was fascinated by their way of life.

So when I fell asleep I had a dream that I was in a room sitting and crying. My heart was broken and so much blood was pouring out of my chest. But I was not in physical pain. Everyone that I know in real life was forming a circle around me and watching me as the pool of blood around me grew bigger and bigger. When I opened my mouth to ask for help, suddenly everyone turned around and gave me their backs and the circle broke and they began to talk among themselves but very very loudly. Suddenly that same nun that I met in real life, appeared out of nowhere and she put her hand on my chest and said only love can heal a broken heart. Who has love is able to give love and she was smiling and kept shaking her head yes, yes. Then she said I’m waiting for you and I woke up.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam

These nuns represent holy ones who are followers of the Prophet (s) in secret and who are, like us, awaiting the return of Sayyidina `Isa (as)  on this earth. You are attracted to them because their way is a way of perfect devotion, and they are attracted to you because you reflect that character. Sayyidina `Isa (as) will descend from heavens on the arms of two angels at the time of the dawn prayer at al-minarat al-bayda, the white minaret, in Damascus at the time of the Great Tribulation, when the anti-Christ appears to deceive and harm the majority of human beings. Sayyidina `Isa (Jesus Christ) will then slay the anti-Christ and establish the Kingdom of Faith.

Her saying “we’re waiting for you” means “we are waiting to be like you, showing our Islam openly” and “the only way to heal a broken heart is love” means this earth’s heart is broken due to the unutterable destruction and harm that human beings have done to the environment and to each other and only the loving touch of Sayyidina `Isa (as) and Imam Mahdi, who precedes him, can restore its balance and restore justice and remove darkness and oppression.

Dream: Under Bridge

Dream:

salaam dearest Mowlana

Last night I had a dream were I was standing at the bottom of a bridge in some water were my feet was soaking . I was standing there looking in to the sky deeply. all of the sudden the water starts to rise ..it rises and rises till its above my head and I start find in difficult to breath, then all of the sudden a green long material like what goes around a turban falls from the bridge towards me and I get hold of it, I then get pulled up so my head is out of the water and I start breathing properly, when I look up I see Mowlana Sheik Nazim and a man dressed in white with a glowing face pulling me up..whilst Mowlana look at me and smile…then wave. then I reaslise the water is rising again and its going above my head and makes me stop breathing properly again..then again I get pulled above the water by Mowlana and this other person…the same process repeated 3 times, the 3rd time Mowlana pulled me right up on the bridge were he was standing . I noticed I wasnt wet after geting out of the water..as if I had never been in it. Mowlana gave me the green material and told me to wrap it around me and follow him.. so I start following Mowlana…they then give me a magnify glass and a world map…and tell me to look at it.. from there I wake up…feeling like my heart is racing very fast.
jazakallah

Interpretation:

This dream is an indication of the knowledge that Mawlana Shaykh is downloading from the oceans of Divine Knowledge in his heart to you, and it is a lot. Seeing Mawlana on the bridge and pulling you out to be with him means they are taking care of you and the bridge means safety for you in this life and the next. The shining man is your spiritual self, and the green material represents the Sunnah of the Prophet (s) and Mawlana Shaykh telling  you to wrap  yourself in it means practice as much as you can of it and leave sins.

Seeing the world map means you may be traveling soon. W ‘Allahu `alam.

Adab of Ijazah

Question:

Salaam O Alaykum wr wb Most Respected Awliya.

If a mureed of Sultan ul Awliya Mawlana Saydi Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al Haqqani receives Ijaza from another Shaykh in Islamic sciences [i.e. Fiqh] and would now like to teach theses sciences, what is the adab the mureed would use? Would the mureed ask Sultan ul Awliya Mawlana Saydi Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al Haqqani for Ijaza to teach?

JazakAllah Khayran
Ma’Salaama

Answer:

`alaykum salam

Receiving ijaza in Fiqh is an opening for which a murid should thank Allah, invoke blessings on the Prophet, and persevere in his connection with and love for Mawlana so that the light of his guidance will shine in the sciences that the murid tries to put into practice. The murid should not ask Mawlana for ijaza to teach but assume that permission is already given for him. However, he should imagine himself under Mawlana’s gaze as he teaches and he should rely on Allah Most High and ask for right guidance and true inspiration.

Dream: broken glass and blood

Dream:

Asalam-u-Alaikum
I seen a dream which involved my husband, trying to cause harm to me and members of my family – we are in separation – I was trying to get away from him and suddenly I seen broken glass and blood. A piece of glass cut into my big toe in my left foot. I removed the piece of glass from my toe and I began cleaning all the blood from the floor, which I managed to fully clean. I then saw a herd of animals and flies that were trying to enter the house..?

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Our mashaykh have taught us that any dream in which blood is seen is batil, and can thus be ignored as without relevance.
