Spreading Knowledge

Question:

Assalamualaykum

I have a habit of posting Mowlana Shaykh’s teachings/quotes in some groups. Recently, I was thinking that I’m not good enough to spread their beautiful work. Please advise me. Is it ok for someone as useless as me to do this?

JazakAllah Khair.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

None of us are worthy of anything except those whom Allah loved, awliyaullah and saliheen. However and despite that, all of us are permitted, nay even encouraged to recite Allah’s Own Holy Words as much as possible, for in doing so there is cure for our diseases. So it is similarly with the Golden Words of our Shaykh and alhamdulillah for that. Keep spreading his blessed teachings far and wide.

Vision in namaz

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum
Dear Shaykh Hisham
Today at isha time when I was in sajdah I saw my self completely changed into nur and this was of 5 to 8 sec. Please tell me what was this. Jazakallah

Answer:

Salaam, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to quote the ayats 30, 31, and 32 from Surah Fusilat (41), “Verily for those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah’ – and remain steadfast – from time to time the angels will descend on that person,” bringing good tidings of various kinds. It’s a heavenly “pat on the back”, Maulana used to say. It’s as if Allah is saying to His servant, “We know you are trying hard. Don’t worry, We know!” And Allah ta’ala knows best, wa RasoulsallaLlahu alayhi wa salaam.

Again salaam,
Abdul Haqq

Black magic being done on us by family

Question:

AssalaamuAlaikum
My wife & I are mureeds of Maulana Shaykh Nazim QS. Sayyidi I’m being given many signs that my mom & brother are doing black magic on my wife, my baby & I. But I don’t know what to believe anymore. I want keep my family safe. Please help me to know the truth.

Answer:

Wa alaikum as-salaam,

Beginning with “BismiLlahi Rahmani Raheem“, and with salatu was salaam `ala RasouluLlah wa `ala ahlihi wa sahbihi ajma`een, we are asking a good result for our doings from Allah ta`ala.

Without knowing the people involved, it is difficult to know what is going on here. Always, the first thing is to be patient, as Holy Quran says firstly to avoid suspicion, and, secondly, that even magic cannot harm anyone except as Allah wishes.

There is a book containing various salawat, published by Maulana Shaykh Hisham, that if a person will recite it daily, is very helpful in such matters. There is also in hadith, that if a person will recite the names of certain Ahlul-Bayt, namely, “`Ali Rida, Musa Kazim, Ja`far as-Sadiq, Muhammad Baqir, Zain ul Abideen, Sayyidina al-Hussain, and Shah Mardan Sayyidina `Ali ibn Abi Talib (Karamm-Allahu wujuhihim)” and then blow on the person affected, it will prevent mental disturbances, inshaAllah. We ask humbly to our Lord to grant relief.

Again salaam,
Abdul Haqq

Is this Nikah Valid?

Question:

Assalmualaikum,
I would like an urgent response to this.
A couple conceived a baby out of wedlock, got married in front of a witness designated by them – a few months after the mother became pregnant. The baby is not born yet.  Is this Nikah valid?

Answer:

Wa `alaykum salam,

The couple must sincerely seek repentance and forgiveness from Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful for the grave sin of “Zina“. See Qur’an 6:54.

The child will be considered innocent in the sight of Islamic Law and will not be blamed for what his parents did.

The best solution in this situation is to accept the reality of the matter. The couple is to get married, raise the child without reveling to him that he was conceived out of wedlock. Allah knows best.

Dream: Soul

Question:

I dreamt that my soul is being sucked from my body..
I try to move but I can’t… I try to wake myself because I already know it is really a dream… What could be the meaning behind that dream???

Answer:

Audhubillahiminashaytanirajeem
BismillahirRahmanirRahim

This dream shows how the souls separate from the body during sleep and it is all in the hands of Allah.

Make wudu after praying two rakats before sleep. Recite the 3 quls for protection before sleep and make Salawat on Prophet (saws) until asleep. Sleep is the brother of death and it is not uncommon for people to have these experiences of separation from their body in sleep, it is best to keep the sunnah of sleeping.

Breathing and meditating on the sensations within, doing dhikr with breath and the feelings within.

Question:

Whenever I breathe I can change the intention behind it to make it for Allah’s sake, and I can make it have meaning, the actual feeling of my center area changes and I can feel it flowing through my body. But is meditating on breathe imitating Buddhists?

Answer:

Audhubillahiminahaytanirajeem
Bismillahirahmanirahim

Salaams,

If your intention in breathing is to get nearer to Allah and His Messenger, it is accepted. Everything is making Glorification and Praise of Allah including of course our breathing:

Wa in min shay’in illa yusabbihoo bihamdihi wa laakin laa tafqahoona tasbeehahum.
There is not a thing but celebrates His Praises, and yet you don’t understand how they declare His Glory! (Surat al-’Israa, 17:44)

Religions such as Buddhism put a lot of emphasis on meditation and this reminds us to look into the Islamic traditions that teach us of meditation of which there is a vast a wealth.
