Please give me your support by answering.

I lost my faith not in Allah and his prophet s.a.w. but in the reality that Islam is going to be successful. Look whats going on with the Ummah if the awliya are responsible for the muslims why they are not acting ? Where is the success and how can you say that this year the flag of islam is going to be up although the muslims are shot one by one. MSN says that awliya can kick the planet into another orbit but why is he not making this planet peaceful. Why they dont get permission if they are able to help the Ummah ? Is shaytan such a powerful creature ? Why is Allah not protecting the people of Syria etc. ?

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Shaytan is not powerful but it is mankind who is weak. {for man was created weak (in flesh)} (Surat an-Nisa, 4:28)

Who said Allah is not protecting the people of Syria and many other places? If not for such protection, Allah would have taken everyone from this earth long ago:

{If Allah were to punish men for their wrong-doing, He would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term:} (Surat an-Nahl, 16:61)

Yes, awliyaullah have power, but they do not use it in this dunya. They know the punishment of the next life is far more important use of their intercession. As the Prophet (s) reserved his accepted du`a for akhira, when he will use it to save the vast majority of believers from punishment, similarly for awliyaullah. Rather than spend their  spiritual power, they keep it for the next life.

Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani said, in a suhbat:

…awliyaullah are not after running after miracles to fly, or travel in space or know this and that. They don’t ask except to keep Shari`ah. They know that if you are blind in dunya, never mind. Preserve that power. You can use and see in dunya, but if you don’t then you save it for use in akhira. Because you are concentrating in love of the Prophet (s) that will be used up when you come to akhira. If they give you 100% and you use say 60%, then in akhira you will only have 40%.

Sayyidina Shah Naqshband, Imam of the Tariqat, which came from Sayyidina Abu Bakr (r)  and from Sayyidina `Ali (r). His eyes were very big, but if you look at his eyes, you see them turning over each other like two grinding stones, the black and the white turning. You don’t see the pupil staying in its place. One time black and the other time dark. Why? Because he does not want to use the power of his vision to spend in this dunya. He wants to save that for akhira.

One day his village was in drought. There was nothing to eat. For one whole year. The people came to him and said, “everyone is suffering from hunger, women and children and men and people are hungry. What should we do?” he was their spiritual advisor and scholar. He said, “find someone who has some wheat in his house, which he is feeding his children.” The looked throughout Bukhara and found one bag which contained wheat which one rich person had feeding his children. Then he put in the mill and put himself in the harness of the mill, instead of the ox, put the yoke on , and began to turn the mill. As he was turning by the miraculous power, flour was coming out. He told the people, bring your bags and fill them. For one week he was doing that, until they filled the entire village and al the warehouses. When he finished hunger was taken from that village.

When he was dying, after many years, he would keep falling off the bed. Each time his students would put him back upon his bed. And he would move on his chest on the ground and rubbing his beard and face on the floor of the room, saying “Ya `Afū, ya ` Afū, ya ` Afū, O My Lord forgive me.” People were surprised. They asked him why he was doing that. He said, “All my life I tried to avoid use of miraculous power. But because of seeing the people hungry and I put my will in front of “Allah’s will and tried to feed them. Whey did I interfere in Allah’s doing. For that reason, while I am dying, Allah is asking me “why did you interfere in my will. Are you better than me o my servant? Do you have more mercy than me? Why have you put your finger in it?” that is why Naqshbandis never try to show miraculous powers. They do it to solve problems for others. They will take the burdens and take the whips but not do anything for themselves.

That is why Sayyidina Shah Naqshband used to preserve the power of his eyes for the next life. Because that time people will need the intercession of Prophets and then of awliya-ullah.

In this life we are blind, but if we keep patient and keep focused on the Prophet, Allah will open for you in dunya and in akhira. So our center of gravity is our heart. And in our heart there is a small place that shaytan can enter. If we close that part, then our heart will be filled with haqq and baatil will go. If we have a heart full of light, then we direct our heart to the love of Sayyidina Muhammad (s).

In this suhbat I am saying a lot of changes are going to happen. A lot of changes are going to come on those who are militant, violent criminal. Allah sent messengers, not tyrants. He sent the seal of the messenger who showed us the way. After Sayyidina Muhammad there are no Prophets. Prophets were peace-loving showing happiness to humanity. Calling humanity to happiness. So those, from whatever background, and whatever race, either they will come back to haqq and follow the way of Allah and sirāt al-mustaqīm or punishment is coming back on them. They are using the name of Islam to destroy Islam. They will be asked why they destroyed the name of Islam. What benefit did they get from it? Allah gives people time but He does not allow them to exceed the limits. These limits are being reached. There is a big heavenly barricade. It says “don’t cross – if you cross you will be finished.” Awliya-ullah took a big decision. That was taken 15th Sha`ban. Muslim or non Muslim – whoever is on haqq is going to live. Whoever is on baatil is going to go. Who is violent destroying humanity, is going to go. And when those on haqq live, after that big separation, Mahdi is coming along with Sayyidina `Isa `alayhimu ‘s-salaam. Say, as Sayyidina Abu Bakr said, “Sadaqta ya Rasūl Allāh. – You told the truth, O Prophet of Allah.” He said, “Mahdi is coming.” He said, “`Isa is coming.” He said it and we believe it. We expect it tomorrow. We have to prepare our spiritual manners to prepare ourselves for that golden age. On that 15th of Sha`ban that decision was taken that haqq is going to stand up and baatil is going to disappear.
