Sheikh Hisham and Pope Benedict

Question:

Assalam u alayekum ya Syedi Sheikh Hisham!
I don’t know whether I should ask this question or not, but it has been confusing me since the last 2, or 3 weeks. I had read a sohbet transcript in which Syyedi Sheikh Hisham had told Maulana Sheikh Nazim (Q.S.H) that Pope Benedict is high in spiritual ranks.
Now that Pope Benedict is forcing the Pakistani government to release a Christian woman who has confessed to commit blasphemy about Our beloved Prophet (Salla’l la ho alaye hi wasallam.) The pope is also forcing the government to abolish the law which ensures penalty for such a culprit. The confusion is how can the Pope then be highly spiritual? I personally think that a sinner Muslim but having love of Prophet (S.A.W) is better than the Pope regarding this scenario.
Please explain and elaborate the point.
Forgive me if i sounded rude or offensive or if i hurt anyone’s feelings.
Shukran.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

The news we hear about what goes on in the political world are not necessarily true. Mawlana’s comments about the Pope are relative, not absolute. In other words, they are not incompatible with a sinful Muslim still being superior to him or to you and me. They are also encouragement and an indirect invitation to Islam regardless whether our public approves of disapproves of such style of communication. In any case, Allah Most High knows the content of hearts and how one ends up at the time of death and in the hereafter, so may He keep us on the right path and take us back to Him safe from fitna.

With such issues it is best to make tafwid (resigning rather than probing) even if it is difficult. The proof of such difficulty is when we say “i personally think…” when in our Tariqa we are supposed to be toward our Murshid not only like the body between the hands of the washer but like a dead leaf carried by the wind and accepting to fall wherever it makes it fall. “I” (which is what the Latin word “ego” means) has no voice in the matter.

Dream: Being shot by a gun

Dream:

Assalam O Alaykum Wr wb

I had a dream that this one man in black has a big gun and has shot me but there is no sound of the shot, no blood, no pain, and i am still walking around this road where i see my brother and tell him that there is a man who just shot me then me and my brother. we find the mans phone who tried to kill me and take it with us. we get into my brothers car and drive off, i feel very scaired in my dream, then we go home and i am still feeling scaired and i see 3 bees in our house and i try to get them out of the house. Please can you tell me what does this mean?

Interpretation:

Being shot with a gun means enemies trying to harm you, but alhamdulillah you were not hurt and were able to get away. Bees are baraka, so be careful not to eliminate blessings coming to you due to wrong actions or quick judgment.

w ‘Allahu `alam,

Taher Siddiqui

Rêve:

Assalam O Aleykoum wr wb

still born baby

Question:

Salaams,
We have just given birth to a stillborn child of 8 months gestation. Following the law of the country and Sheikh Hisham’s awrad we have buried her as soon as it was possible (39 hours after birth) in a Muslim cemetery. We didn’t make the funeral prayers. She was born naturally but had been dead in the womb a few days and was visibly deformed, so it didn’t feel appropriate to wash her for fear she might deteriorate further. We had a couple of hours with her before the hospital took charge. In this time we had an angelic and tender energy with us which felt very blessed and we felt strongly to name her, which we did. Since the funeral some people have been saying that it is not correct to name a stillborn child. Did we act appropriately? Thank you for your time and efforts.

Answer:

wa ‘alaykum salam,

Yes you did fine, with the exception that since the baby was born in the 8th month, she should have been washed, regardless of the deformity.

Make du`a for the child. Insha-Allah, may she be a treasure and intercessor for your happiness in Paradise!

Dream: Istekhara For bayyah
Rêve: Istekhara pour bayyah

Dream:

asalam w r b
i saw that i am in class with my friend which used to sit with me and a teacher is there having stick in hand.then i go out of class it seems that there is some sort of party all the girls are having green color on their eyelids and i dressed in red color.
please interpret
Jazakallah khairan

wasalm

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

If your istikhara was asking to confirm taking baya`, then the answer is ‘yes’ as the teacher with the stick represents the Shaykh and spiritual discipline without which you will tend towards the party side and love of dunya.

W ‘Allahu `alam,

Taher Siddiqui

Rêve:

asalam w r b

About ruh/spirit of passed away person

Question:

Bismillaahirrohmaanirrohiim,

Assalamualaikum Dear Maulana Sheikh Hisham Effendi,

I have this question for a long time but hesitate to ask anyone and have heard different opinions (without asking). Is it true that ruh/spirit/soul of passed away can use/posses living body as media to communicate with living persons OR communicate that way?
Reasons for asking:
– have family who believe that & can be such media
– many occasions see that and been told: this our anchestor, this is late king of xxx and so on
– have no knowledge and would like to be carefull on that, affraid of falling into sins or believe something not true, altough the ‘speech’ given by those spirits are alwas good/religious.

Many thanks, really appreciate any answer and apologize for taking your valuabe time.

Salam,

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

The ruh of the pious is free. If someone was good in life Allah swt makes his or her grave a Paradise and his or her soul can move freely.

Question:

Bismillaahirrohmaanirrohiim,

Assalamualaikum cher Maulana Cheikh Hisham Effendi,

Salam,

Answer:

Prayer Request: remedy for avarice

Request:

Salamou’alykoum ya Mawlana,
I am very generous, however I did not feel that I give, but that people rob me. When one wants to give me something, I can not take it because I feel I rob him.So I’m greedy and I’m hiding from people because I can not refuse them anything. Similarly, I do not support domestic disputes, I do not like to be informed of the misfortunes of others. It hurts me and I feel helpless. So I run away from home, I make me invisible, deaf, dumb and blind not to be affected by their problem. I would like to dispense justice but I feel helpless and I’m paralyzed when one shout at me. Can you give me a divine name to heal. Barakallahou fikoum

black magic

Question:

Salaam Syedi, I Pray Allah gives you long life Ameen and May Allah give our Master Shaykh Nazim long life Ameen.
I would like to ask help for my family, my mother is ill most of the time, she always tells me that she gets pain around her body but never tells me what the problem is, my spiritual master has told my mother that someone has done black magic on her. Secondly problem is that the person that has done black magic on my mother has also done it on my father and me, they have put a stop to the barakha in our house. Also we live near a grave yard, before the house was made it used to be a non muslim grave yard and the spirits wont let us move out to another house.
Allah Hafiz Syedi, remember me and my family in your Duaz. JazakALLAH

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Change houses if you can because the problem is from the graveyard. Recite daily Ya Hafizh.
