Khatm of the prayer of Yunas a.s

Question:

Salam,

Last yr I started a khatm containing saying the dua of Yunas a.s “la illaha illa Anta subhanaka inni kunta minazaalimeen” 125,000 for a personal fulfilment, I’m still in the middle of doing the khatm. I just want to ask if I can continue on doing the dhikr of the khatm while on my period? As it’s a lengthy khatm. Also could the khatm be validated please.

As for completing what you promised, you should do so, as Allah said, {and keep the covenant. Lo! of the covenant it will be asked.} (Surat al-Isra, 17:34), As you sought to do it “for a personal fulfillment” since this is what came to your heart, for sure it is good.

Dream: Hadhrat ali Ra

Dream:

Salaam sayyidi,
Around two years ago I dreamt that a man in a glowing White suit was stood amongst me and my cousin. He demonstrated to us how our beloved prophet s.a.w would take a enemy down in battle. When I woke up I had a strong feeling the person was hadhrat Ali r.a. What does this dream mean? Kind loving regards.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

That is correct, insha-Allah, and Sayyidina `Ali (s) was the Lion of Allah, first in the Jihad against his own self and then in battle. Insha-Allah that was a spiritual “implant” to assist you in your personal Jihad an-Nafs and achieve tazkiyyat an-nafs, purification of the soul, as represented by the white dress, so congratulations.

Dream: Dajjal

Dream:

Assalam-o-alaikum wa rehmatullahi wa barakatuhu!
i had a dream two or three days before.i was dreaming in a dream I feel the existence of dajjal..he was very huge even bigger than a building.He said that you n ur family have 20 minutes (which i remember) to leave ur house.(he was going to blow off the roofs or tops of all buildings).I then told my mother about this..she started from picking up the small and light weighted furniture while she left our bed.I told her to pick up that too because we were just having 10 minutes left before the clock struck 1 n before the disaster begins.
After this i woke up in my dream and told my mother that dajjal has come.Then i found my mother’s sister talking about my cousin.My cousin had said something bad abt me n my family….

As Shaykh Hisham has informed us, a dream within a dream means the dream is self-explanatory. Therefore prepare for the sudden and dangerous appearance of anti-Messiah and don’t let hanging onto dunya hold you back from seeking safety with awliya.

Pakistan’s future

Question:

Salam Alaeykum Ya Shaikh!

I wanted to ask if the blessed Shaykhs could tell us anything about what is going to happen to Pakistan in the near future. We Pakistanis are so sick of our rulers and there is so much misery and corruption, when will it all end? There have been many people who have spoken about the spiritual significance of Pakistan, so when will it all start happening? We await a Just ruler in our country!!!

Dream: I asked Allah in my salat

Dream:

Assalam aleykoum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,

I wanted to know something, so I asked Allah azzawajel in my salat.

Is this a clear dream who do not need to be interpreted may be an answer from Allah ? (the dream made me happy but I do not know if it is an answer from Allah or from the subconscious, al nafs)

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

In the traditional interpretation, seeing yourself in prayer to Allah swt in a dream means the coming of riches, power and fame.

Dream: no leg, no hand

Dream:

Salam Maulana Sheikh and eshaykh team…

My mother dream that i have no leg and hand. I move without hands and legs. My mother ask me to be careful as there might be something bad happen to me like accidents or somethings.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

{Said (Pharaoh): “Do you believe ye in him before I give you permission? surely he is your leader, who has taught you sorcery! but soon shall you know! Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you all!”} (Shuara 26:49)

The ego, represented by Pharaoh, is always threatening the believers and the soul.  Alhamdulillah you were able to move in your dream in an amazing way without arms and legs showing that the real importance is not the physical body but the strength of the soul. Continue to use your faith to strengthen your soul and keep moving forward in Islam, Iman and Ihsan.  If your mother is concerned, she may give sadaqa or sacrifice a lamb and feed the poor with it to keep away afflictions.

Dream: Being upset

Dream:

I had a dream about a boy who i didnt marry for valid reasons and for the sake of Allah i remained quite even though he got engaged and was showing off to me.

In my dream i am at his house as he is gettin married. I am helpin his family do everything. They are treating me badly. He is there and wont help me and is acting like he doesnt know me. I clean the house and keep saying for Allah i remain quite.

I see his engagement pictures and he sitting holding hands with a girl who in fact is his actual sister.

Then i recieve an email from him apologising but i know he is lieing. He quoted a few hadiths which i do not remember.

I reply back saying i remained quite from the beginning because of Allah and then i woke up.

Interpretation:

a`udhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Your dream is showing how difficult your life would be if you had been married to him.  When you sacrifice for Allah’s sake by not marrying him for the right reasons and keeping quite for Allah’s sake to avoid fitna then for sure Allah will reward you, in sha Allah with someone better, and more suitable.

Dream: Ocean

Dream:

Asalkuim Dear Eshayk staff,may ALLAH have mercy upon you all.

The other night I had a dream I was sitting on the beach with my twin sister,we were both watching the sea water nicely,but instead of the water coming from the way we were looking,it came from the back side of us,it swept me away slightly but my sister didnt get swept away,(the water was not agressive,nor was it to calm,it was normal water)but then i started swimming and started to save myself,which i did and was safely standing high on something.

Allah forgive me if I interperate the dream wrong.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s finger

Assalamu alaykum Shaykh
Greetings to all the staff at eshaykh.com. May Allah Almighty reward you you for your efforts Ameen.

During August 2007 Mawlana Shaykh Nazim placed his finger into his mouth and then into my son’s mouth. He was 4 months old at the time. Please clarify what this means.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

It is reported in Sahih Bukhari, as narrated by Asma’ bint Abu Bakr:

I conceived ‘Abdullah bin Az-Zubair at Mecca and went out (of Mecca [on Hijrah]) while I was about to give birth. I came to Medina and encamped at Quba’, and gave birth at Quba’. Then I brought the child to Allah’s Prophet (s) and placed it (on his lap). He asked for a date, chewed it, and put his saliva in the mouth of the child. So the first thing to enter its stomach was the saliva of Allah’s Apostle. Then he did its tahnik with a date, and invoked Allah to bless him.

Al- `Ayni (rahimahullah) said:
“The wisdom behind tahnik is the expectation that the baby would then attain iman and its sweetness, because dates are the fruits of the tree that the Prophet (s) likened to a believer–especially if the person performing tahnik is virtuous or of the righteous `ulama, so that his saliva will enter the baby’s stomach….

It is said, “reeq al-mumin shifa – the saliva of the believer is a cure” and it is supported by the hadith in Sahih Bukhari narrated by Sayyida `Aisha:

The Prophet used to say to the patient, “In the Name of Allah The earth of our land and the saliva of some of us cure our patient.”

Dream: Online suitor/marriage proposal.

Dream:

Dear Shaykh, Assalamu alaykum,

After 22 years of searching for someone to marry and much sabotage to prevent my marrying, I am in contact with a Kashmiri Farooqi man in Pakistan. My dreams about him are such:

  1. I see that our email communications are pure white and there is some bright red colour near them; I too am in the dream.
  2. In a second dream, I see my mother fearfully saying that he is older than me and I also see a Pakistani muslim scholar in this dream, who is also Farooqi.
  3. In a third dream, I see I have received a gift box, white, which has come from Kashmir and contains a coat for me, possibly blue in colour.

Please could you say what these dreams are indicating about my suitor? Humbly Yours from UK.
