Dream: Arrival of Imam Mahdi and Dajjal

Dream:

Salam alaik Shaykh Hisham,

I had a dream that Imam Mahdi arrived & there were many bright red stars in the night sky. When Dajjal arrived, the sky was covered with black smoke which shaped like cloaked humans. Does this mean anything Ya Sayyidi?

Salam alaik

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Red indicates war and stars indicate those who follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (s).  Sayyidina al-Mahdi (as) appears during a great war and leads the believers to safety and defeats the forces of anti-Messiah with the spiritual power of Sayyidina `Isa, Jesus Christ, upon whom be peace and blessings.  Black smoke is dukhanin mubin from Surat ad-Dukhan:

{But watch thou (O Muhammad) for the day when the sky will produce visible smoke }(44:10)

Dream: Seeing the Kabah

Dream:

Auzobillahi minushaytaanir rajeem…. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalam o Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu
Ya Sayyidi, Ya Hajjah and Family,

I had a dream where I was in Mecca. I was standing in front of the Kabah. I was so overwhelmed and I cried. I immediately fell into prostration and saw the big slabs of marble, it was so beautiful.

I then proceeded to do the Tawaf, but I decided to do it on my knees, all for the Love of Allah(swt).

I then saw a researcher inside the Kabah, I thought it was odd, but I just ignored it. Before leaving, my husband reminded me to give my salams to the Kabah- because he remembered what Shaykh Hisham said this in one of his Suhbahs.

What does this all mean? Please Sayyidi, pray for my family and I that we will always be in safety. We love you!
Thank you.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Seeing Holy Ka`bah in a dream and performing some of your religious rites there is a confirmation that the path you are on is a true path. Prostrating in a dream, means that arrogance will be removed from you. Since the name of Shaykh Hisham was mentioned in the dream, it means you will be of service to him.

Dream: Seeing Mawlana Shaykh Nazim

Dream:

As-Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

I had a dream couple of months ago, where Shaykh Nazim came to my house with another man with a white beard, which I don’t know who it was. Shaykh Nazim entered and went into my bedroom and put both his hands on my head and removed something, as in some evil was being removed from me and when Shaykh Nazim was doing this I felt at peace. If you can please tell me what this means in detail.

JazakAllah.

Interpretation:

The meaning needs no interpretation and is clear: Mawlana is removing difficulty and evil from you.

Dream: Offering Nafil Prayers

Dream:

Assalam.o.Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu

Please give my love and Salam to Sultan-ul-Awliya(q) and Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani (q).

I saw that I was reciting Surat-ul-Fatiha with English Translation and then I saw that I am in a mosque doing Wud’u. After Wud’u, I went to offer my prayers and there were people as far as the eyes can possibly see. Every one of them was wearing White dress with white hat/turban( including me). All of us were praying Nafil Salah. I was in the middle row and my cousin was also in the same row and he was following me. If I do ruku, he also does ruku.

Jazakallah Khair.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh,

Your soul was taken to a heavenly presence during your sleep to do its worship. Especially when a servant goes to sleep with ablution, the angels take your soul to perform prayers under the Throne of The Merciful.

124000 Adams

Question:

Assalamualaikkum to all the Shyukhs,

As per Sulthan al Awliya Mowlana Shaykh Nazim, Ibnu Arabi & SHk Abdul Qadir Jilanis teachings, we have studied about the 124000 Adams Alaihisalams. How can we answer a non Tareeqa-Sufi follower on this?

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

This is from the Futuhat al-Makkiyya of Muhyiddine ibn `Arabi; see al-Sha`rani al-Yawaqit wal-Jawahir on this issue. It is not an integral part of a Muslim’s `Aqida.

involuntary zikr

Question:

i find that i am repeating Allah hu Samad in my heart much of the time especially find myself doing this as i awake and at times of stress or difficultly. i have heard that too much Zikr of any particular name without permission could be harmfull. please explain

Answer:

That is an excellent state to have been gifted involuntary dhikr of the heart. It cannot harm you for dhikrullah may be made as much as possible and can only benefit, as Allah swt said:

ala bi dhikrillah tatma’inn-al-quloob,without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.(ar-Ra`d, 13:28)

ya ayyuhalladheena amanu idhkurallaha dhikran kathira, O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often; (al-Ahzab, 33:41)

to cite Shaykh Hisham Kabbani, in his Encyclopedia of Islamic Doctrine:

Dhikr of Allah is the most excellent act of Allah’s servants and is stressed over a hundred times in the Holy Qur’an. It is the most praiseworthy work to earn Allah’s pleasure, the most effective weapon to overcome the enemy, and the most deserving of deeds in reward. It is the flag of Islam, the polish of hearts, the essence of the science of faith, the immunization against hypocrisy, the head of worship, and the key of all success. There are no restrictions on the modality, frequency, or timing of dhikr whatsoever. The restrictions on modality pertain to certain specific obligatory acts which are not the issue here, such as Salat. The Shari`a is clear and everyone knows what they have to do. Indeed, the Prophet said that the People of Paradise will only regret one thing: not having made enough dhikr in the world! Are not those who are making up reasons to discourage others from making dhikr afraid of Allah in this tremendous matter?

…The Prophet (s) said: “If your hearts were always in the state that they are in during dhikr, the angels would come to see you to the point that they would greet you in the middle of the road.” (Muslim narrated it.)

From the teachings of the Naqshband shaykhs, Allahu as-Samad is a protection from anger.

Dream: Firuz (turquoise) ring of Sayyidina ‘Ali (as)

Dream:

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahym
As-Salaam Alaykum

My brother, who is also my brother in Naqshbandi Tariqat, saw us both in a dream. I had two silver firuz (turquoise) rings and he one. I gave one to him and someone said it was the ring of ‘Ali (as.). The stone on that one was more beautiful and darker then on others. He thought which was the right finger to wear it, so he realized that he had to put it on the ring finger; he then puts it together with the ring he already had, on the same finger. Please, would you interpret for us?
Shukran wa Salaam

Interpretation:

The first ring represents knowledge of Shari`ah and the second the knowledge of ma`rifah, gnosis. You gifting one to your brother means you are transmitting a knowledge to him which comes from the line of Sayyidina `Ali (r), through Sayyidina Ja`far as-Sadiq (r) and signifies your generosity.
