How to Match wordly & Spiritual life

Question:

as salamu alaykum shayk,

I took bayat 2 years ago but still find difficulties in doing all practices. Many hours of job, travelling and people surrounding me are not in Tariqat, included my wife. I feel always really, really tired and try to do as much as I can everyday. There are times of increase in practice and dhikr and times when I stops. It is very frustrating. I cannot understand if this is the way it should work. Please advice.

Thank you

Answer:

Wa`alaykumussalam,

Try organise a time to recite your Awrad – before or after Fajr, after Asr or after Maghrib – any time of your convenience. It becomes easier this way in the long run. As long as you keep count, you should not go wrong. Sometimes we might miss some counts in our dhikr, sometimes we may end with even more, so this is a Rahmah.

Wazifa for children

Question:

Salamu Alaikum dear staff,

I red an answer of a staff member, I didn’t remember who it was, anyway the answer suggested a small wazifa for children.I liked it a lot, but cannot find the question/answer anywhere on the website. The wazifa was with an Asma-al-Husna. Could you please provide me the Name and the prescription of the wazifa.I remembered it started with repeating an Name 7x for small children and as the child matures the wazifa could be extended up to 1000x.

Thanks in advance and many salaam to the staff and their families.

Answer:

You can teach them to say la ilaha ill ‘Llah Muhammad rasoolullah 7x. That is enough.

Permissibility of Practicing Tai Chi

Assamouallaikoum,
Dear respected Shaykhs and staff of eShaykh.
I am very much interested to start practicing martial arts. I have seen a variety of styles, of martial art available. I found out about Tai Chi and it seems so balanced and non violent. I would like to know if it is permissible for a muslim to practice it and how should the muslim deal with their beliefs, if he/she is practicing it?

May Allah bless you all for your good deeds and multiply them.
Please convey my greetings to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and to all the respected Shaykhs of the Tariqa.

Jazak Allah.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

It is no problem. Tai Chi teaches many beneficial steps to maintain a healthy balance of one’s physical and mental vitality. This is in fact key in all other traditional martial arts – their purpose is the meaning of the self, not fighting per se.

Visions, Given a Turban

Question:

I went to Medina in my vision & there I saw holy Prophet MuhammadSAW. I went and wished him,he wished me back…he then said [private] your duas will be fulfilled and then he put a green turban on my head and he said that you are the Sultan ul Hind…

Prophet Muhammad SAW always appear in form of light in my visions. What is the meaning of this vision?

Answer:

Congratulations on such a blessed dream. Insha-Allah it means you are receiving the baraka of your ancestors in India, who were awliyaullah. Through their du`a in their graves you are receiving that connection of fayd from Rasulullah (s). Turban indicates knowledge and green indicates following the Sunnah. Therefore study hard in the way of Shari`ah and ma`rifah and hold fast to the Sunnah.

The Prophet (s) appearing as Nur is indicating his spiritual reality and yours for everything is created from the Light of Sayyidina Muhammad (s).

And Allah knows best.

Caste System Consistent with Islam?

Question:

Asalaamulaikyum,

I have a question regarding the concept of caste in Islam. I am a Syed female and according to the beliefs of my family it is not permissible for me to marry outside of this caste. However, through my research I haven’t found anything to support these claims. I would like to marry a revert to Islam- but my mother will not consent to it and my father is unaware of it but he also shares these same beliefs as my mother. I am not willing to marry anybody else. Please tell me if what she is saying has any validation and if praying Istikhara would be advisable in this situation and if so what could i request Allah swt to help me with in this salah?

JazakAllah Khairan

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam

See the Posts “Syed Marriages” and “Please Ya Shaykh help us.

Therefore it is best to ask Allah to change their hearts.  See the Post “Rejected Marriage Proposal” and follow the advice there.

Inspiration from Allah

Question:

Asalamalikum,

I sometimes feel as if Allah is sending inspirations to me, telling me things I should do and what name of His I should say, sometimes letting me ask a question about Him and telling me about Himself! In dreams I get told that read this Surah, or while reciting Quran I hear special messages! I become really spiritual and I feel great love for Allah and His creations! But sometimes I feel doubts, like what if its Satan who telling me to do things, or my own mind! and then I leave everything in fear! Also I was named by the Prophet Muhammad in my mothers dream, so is there a connection?

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

That is your signal to set out on the Sufi Path. The shaykhs are opening some of the veils on your spiritual hearing and sight, to encourage to move towards Allah swt.

Most important, is to take the hand of a guiding shaykh, murshid. This will help you to know what are whispers vs. what is from heavenly sources. As to your mother’s dream, that is a strong indication that you will be one who has a spiritual calling (murad).

Food prepared by Mushrik

Question:

Asalaam’alaykum,

I have heard that it is not permissible for us to eat food prepared by Hindus.
Is this only about Hindus or Mushrik in general? (Hindu/ Buddist…). Is it possible to have the hadith or the verse which speaks about that.

Last part of my question; can we eat food prepared by Christians and Jews? (given the ingredients are halal).

Jazak Allah

Dream: Mawlana refused Bay’at

Dream:

Assalamualaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

About a month ago a friend asked me to ask the meaning of his dream.

In the dream he saw many people gathered take turns to take the initiation from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil Haqqani. But when the time came for my friend, Mawlana does not give bay’ah and said “No, you do not have bay’ah, next time”. Finally, in the confusion and sadness of my friends realize that he’s currently in a poor state of dress, which he uses only shirt and short pants.

Dream interpretation will be very meaningful to my friend, and we ask for prayer and guidance of both of us. We are sorry if the attitude and the words we none the less pleased.

Wassalam

Interpretation:

a`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem:

wa `alaykum salam,
This dream can mean that your friend may hold a belief that is against Shariah and needs a heart change from that, then the baya can happen.

And Allah knows best
