Dream: Dream: Allah (swt) and our Prophet (sws)

Dream:

As-salamu alaykum dearest Mawlana Shaykh Hisham and eShaykh team,

I had a dream where I enter a room, in which there is a square outlined, to which I am told to do sajda as it is Allah (swt)’s House. It is right The square is on a platform which is a sort of ledge, and while doing sajda I am afraid of falling off. Right next to the square there is a sort of lever (like a water pump) but also attached to the platform, of which I am told to pull, as it is what the Prophet (sws) first used when he started work. I pull it too.

I recently have been repenting through dua of Saint of Rajab (I’m big sinner), and have exams soon.

I love you too much Mawlana, please pray for my forgiveness and to be close to Prophet (sws) & Awliyahh.

Jazakallah

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Insha-Allah, the dream is the fruits of your repentance. Allah is insha-Allah forgiving you by allowing you to make a Sajda at His House.

Apostacy in Islam

Question:

Salams

I have been told that if you commit apostacy in Islam knowing or unknowingly your nikah beomes invalid and you have to renew it again. For example, if you believe Allah is a light, sits on a throne, is everywhere, is in the sky etc you have commited Kufr.

I have been told that the correct belief in Allah is that Allah is not confined by the limits of time and space, is nothing like the creation, exists without a time and a place. Please can you let me know whether this is the correct belief in Allah and whether once has to renew their nikah.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

She should be reminded of the seriousness of what she did, and she should be advised to repent. It is not necessary to renew Nikah in this case.

Anger in the household

Question:

Asalaam Alaykum
Just before we married my wife accepted Islam and received bayat with Shaykh Nazim. Within the first few months she renounced Islam and began to fight me over the amount of time I spent in devotions. She has taken a very disdainful attitude towards Islam and Tariqa. She despises the reverence I have for my Shaykh. I have had a very difficult time being an affectionate husband because of the way she speaks to me about the issues upsetting her. I have not provided for my family as they deserve. When she is upset over something she raises her voice and begins to use profanity. I walk away and she pursues me through the house. Just over a week ago I took hold of her with force. She called the police and they arrested me.
Please give us advice that we can receive Baraka and heavenly support.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam!

Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “yassir wa la tu`assir, bashiru wa la tu nafiru!”  Make the way easy for people, not difficult, make them happy – don’t drive them away (from Islam)!  Also, “marriage is one-half the religion, (then) look after the other half!”  Without knowing both of you, it is difficult to advise, but this looks like a case of your disregard for your wife’s feelings, being that she is new to Islam.  Try your best to make peace – perhaps there is a mutual friend who could help to mediate your differences.  Mawlana Shaykh (Allah ta`ala blesses him) used to advise newly married husbands in your situation to try to make your wife happy first, then turn to your devotions.

Perplexed about something Shaykh Taher Siddiqui said.

Question:

Dear Shaykh Taher Siddiqui, Assalamu alaykum,

Thank you for interpreting my dream titled ‘Trying to leave’. You say I must not avoid my father, but what you do not know is that he told me to sleep with him when I was 38 years old and I do not like the way he looks at me at times. If I dress Islamically in his presence, he tells me off, saying the clothes are too loose and if I dress more Western style, he will act like he is very Islamic and make me feel that I should wear more Islamic clothes. I hate him. He and my hypocrite mother have driven me mad. I am Schizophrenic because of them. They won’t let me be me. I live in fear. What can you say please?

My humbles apologies for lack of adab.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

If you don’t provide accurate information I’m afraid you can’t expect a reasonable response.

It sounds like you had good reasons to fear your father and avoid him. Insha-Allah Allah sends you a good husband who will support you in recovering from the emotional trauma you have suffered.

Try to forgive your parents and regenerate love to them and ask Allah to guide them to real belief and real practice and save them from shaytan’s grasp, especially in the twilight of their lives.

Prayer Request: Surgery

Request:

Asalamu Alaykum,

Hope Allah grants both Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Shaykh Hisham a long healthy life and the highest of stations in Jannah. Ameen.

I am getting surgery on my back for the second time. Unfortunately, the first time around it didn’t cure the problem. Please pray that the operation goes well and that it is successful this time. I would appreciate it if you gave me something to recite for this problem to be cured and for my wound to heal properly.
Jazakallah khayr

Response:

wa `alaykum salam,

Recite 7x daily Surat al-Inshirah (alam nashrah laka sadrakwa ila rabbika farghab).

Prayer Request: Pls provide a powerful dua for this

Request:

Pls let Maulana Hisham read this-I write this specifically for him& hope he will give me his response. Ever since I was young almost every Ramadan I asked Allah to give me a future husband tht I described in prayers. After years I found the person but he made false promise to marry. The emotional trauma caused is more than what I can take. I cant place my trust in anyone again& have shut my heart. My parents are worried sick bec of my age (28)& mom has high blood pressure.I will never forgive myself if anything happens to her. At times I want to ask Allah to give me death so my parents can stop worrying about my future. Pls pray tht the person who lied to me changes his ways&comes back to me. He is exactly what I asked frm Allah. Maulana what dua can you advise to me

Response:

wa `alaykum salam,

Insha-Allah Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani is praying for you.

Often we build an image of someone in our imagination, through childish infatuation, which has no more reality than the superheros on TV. Leave childish reactions and be at peace, and ask Allah to send you someone who does not lie, but has all the other good qualities you saw in him.
