Dream: disturbing and confusing dreams

Dream:

assalam u alayekum Syedi Sheikh Hisham!
I have been seeing strange and disturbing dreams for quite some time.
1-Some time ago I watched that I was going towards an escalator and a dog was walking along with me. Meanwhile I saw a dog coming from the opposite side. As soon as they saw each other they barked at each other.
2- More than once I saw myself in dream in washroom finding myself to prevent from and being frustrated at najasat in washroom.
3-Once I found that I went to washroom area. I was brushing my teeth and reciting daruud (salaat) in my heart. Then I thought that this is a place where I should not recite salaat as this place does not come up to the criterion of adaab of reciting salaat. So i stopped.
Please tell interpretation.Shukran ya syyedi.

Interpretation:

`Alaykum as-Salam,
The accompanying dog is an enemy from whom you derive some benefit while the other one is an enemy that does not dare approach you. Latrine dreams indicate you should give zakat and not speak ill of others, and Allah knows best.

Nazar- “Making vow” in Wrong Intention

Question:

Assalammualaikum Sheikh Hisyam,
My name is [private] from Malaysia. One of my friend (Naqshabandi murid) ask me to write this question. My friend just recently moved to a new bungalow lot and his wife has make a vow-“Nazar” not to sleep with him until the land title changed to her daughter’s name. Is this ‘Nazar” is valid and what is the syariah law saying about this? Kindly pray for him to take away this problem. Make doa also for me to success in spiritual path and daily practise.
Wassalam.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Nadhar (Arabic: نذر‎) is a vow or promise made to perform certain actions that is recommended by Shari`ah. They must be lawful acts of worship. Since the person who made the vow, based on the description given below, is the lawful wife, she cannot make such a vow based on such a premise, hence the vow is invalid. You may read this Vows and Oaths for general understanding.

Advise him to recite Hasbunallahu wa Ni`mal Wakeel 100 times, Ya Muqallibal Quluubi wal Absaar, Thabbit Quluubanaa `alaa Deenika wa Ta`atik 100 times daily. Insha-Allah, Mawlana Shaykh Hisham will be praying for you.

What Murabbi Means

Question:

Assalaam Alikum All,

What do you mean by Murabbi?

What is the status of the person whom Nabi -e -Karim Sallallaho Alai Hi Wasallam called him a Murabbi?

Subhanak, Since childhood I have been asked who is the “Hu” on Earth?

Jazakallah

Answer:

`Alaykum as-Salam,
We mean that Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani is the guide and teacher of those who seek guidance, and he is the mirror of the Prophetic Sunnah and the explainer of the Divine Names and Attributes in our times.

Father disapproves of Marriage Proposal

Question:

AssalmuAlaikum,

My circumstances are complicated since I have been diagnosed with a condition which means I will be unable to have children.

Whilst studying in university a practicing brother sent me a proposal, (also a mureed of Shaykh Nazim). I informed the brother of my medical condition. Alhamdulillah he said that this does not concern him, as he is seeking a practicing woman to complete his deen with. We discussed the option of adopting/fostering and him/his family are open to ideas.

We both done ishtikhara prayer and received positive signs and decided to tell our parents.

His parents have accepted however, my father refused since the brother is not within the family/caste/village. I feel he is rejecting for wrong reasons.

Please enlighten me with your help/knowledge regarding this complicated situation. I just want to get married to this brother soon inshaAllah.

I look forward to your reply inshAllah.
Wasalam,

Answer:

As-Salamu `Alaykum,

The concept of marriage is not based on social necessity without which the enjoyment of life is not complete. The Prophet gave the greatest example of it in his own life. He said:

“The best among you is he who is good to his family, and, among you, I am the best for my family.”

May Allah Ta`ala grant all parents, daughters and sons the Hidayah to follow the teachings of His most excellent creation and open up our hearts. May Allah Ta`ala remove hypocrisy from our hearts and guide us to discard our ignorance and remove our pride of considering ourselves, our class, caste, language, region, community, nation, and families as being better than any other Muslim’s. AMEEN.

We are clearly told by Allah Ta`ala that all Muslims are one and no Muslim has a higher status than another, except with regard to PIETY. We are clearly told that “a person with even an atom’s worth of pride will not see Jannah“. May Allah Ta`ala protect us from such a fate by enabling us to put our knowledge into practice, ameen!

Dream: Family

Dream:

Assalaamu-Alaikum
I dreamt my family abroad. They were all in one room sitting on the couch, and I would greet them and kiss the sisters and hug them. Some of the family members were crying, as I could see their tears. It felt as if they all missed me or something like that. I don’t know if I greeted them to depart or on my arrival. I also saw the mother of the wife of my father’s cousin. This woman was very short, but she was very young looking and had a very straight back for her 90 year old age in the dream. I gave her salaam and she replied in a language I couldn’t understand, and I also kissed and hugged her. In the dream I told this woman that she is more young looking than all of us. I have no idea if this woman is alive in reality.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Your family is thinking of you and missing you inshaAllah.

Allah knows best.

Dream after baya and du’a for my husband

Question:

Bismi Allah

My husband doesn’t like Naqshbandi (he is from Palestine). He has a big heart and I love him dearly. Please pray for him. What du’a can I make to soften his heart and bring him to our tariqa? JazakAllah khayr.

I took online baya with Shaykh Nazim last night. Before I went to sleep, I saw smiling eyes of Shaykh Nazim. They were very big, almost filling the ceiling above me. His eyes were green and kind. I saw it for only a few seconds. Then I dreamt of Shaykh Hisham. The world was full of bright strong light. Shaykh Hisham was wearing a green turban, brown clothes, and smiling. He held his arms out and from the sky millions of purple/red rose petals flew into the world. The petals were dancing around Shaykh Hisham, and he was whirling and smiling. Ma’sha’Allah! Thank you so much!

Answer:

Insha-Allah with patience and tolerance, your husband’s heart will change. As you have seen in the dream, you have great Awliya looking after you and your family.

Allah knows best.

Making Mawlana Happy

Question:

Assalamu ‘Alaykum.
Im going to visit MSN (qs) on the 4th April alhamdulillah insha’Allah. May I have MSH (qs) blessing. My question is:
1-What can I do, or say, or take with me, that will make Mawlana happy because I heard that MSH (qs) says make your Shaikh happy because they have a lot of burdens and stress. What does MSN like that I can take as a gift for him, can MSH tell me something he knows Mawlana likes a lot.
2- What are the adaab of entering , leaving and spending time in Mawlana’s presence especially for a young man lke myself 21 years old. Should I not turn my back when leaving, smile a lot, look at him directly, speak or not, kiss his hands, feet, hug him, kiss his forehead. Can Mawlana Sheikh Hisham give me a dua I can ask him for.

Salaam to MSH and eshaykh staff.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

In terms of material gifts, we believe money is better than other gifts like perfume, because Mawlana has rooms full of these gifts which everyone buys for him.

Spiritually the best gift is a sincere heart and good manners. Make your intention for visiting Mawlana that you wish to please Allah and His prophet, and to seek nearness to your Lord. In the presesnce of Mawlana, do not speak unless spoken to, know that you are in the presence of the holiest man in this world, ask for Akhira in your heart, do not ask for dunya matters.

Success is from Allah.

Surah Baqara, Ayah 7

Question:

As Salamu Alaikum wa rahamtullahi wa barakatuhu,

I am always filled with sadness when I read the following ayah or similar ayahs in the holy Quran:

As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.God hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur).”

Is there no hope for the ones who have lost their ways? If Allah has sealed their hearts, then nobody can guide them. I often think about family members or friends who either do not believe or have lost faith and pray that Allah brings them back to truth. How do we reconcile that with the above ayah? May Allah Ghafurur Raheem forgive us all.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

You are to pray for those who are lost, but what is implied in this verse is that Allah (swt) knew one even before He created him whether he will choose to be on the right or wrong way. That’s why He said describing the lost ones,  “God hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil.” The seal always comes at the end. Allah (swt) does no injustice to His creations.
