Dream: Rasullulah (saws) and Abu Talib (ra)

Dream:

AbuTalib (ra) was passed away on a slab before burial. The place was white marble. I went to see him with some people. I was climbing onto a platform because the slab was elevated, my legs and body were shaking and I had a walking stick I was leaning on. I was scared and barely managed to get onto the platform. I couldn’t look at him well, because of similar reason to above, but saw him once then turned my head. He was white and had white hair and beard. I said, “he’s a Muslim”, and people said, “yes don’t you know”. I said, “obviously he must be a Muslim”. I said “he respected you” to Holy Prophet who was behind me on my right. What does it mean if you feel Rasullulah (s) presence or see an outline of him often in a dream, but actually see him clearly rarely.

Interpretation:

You are a “seeker after something” (talib) and the staff represents someone with power or wealth and influence who will see that you get what you want. Fear and trembling indicate safety and repentence. Feeling the presence of Rasulullah (upon him blessings and peace) signifies his support here and hereafter insha-Allah.

Dream: Shaykh Nazim and Shaykh Mohammed

Dream:

Salaams, my father-in-law had a dream that Mawlana Shaykh Mohammad from Malyasia and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim were having a meeting in my house in one of my sitting rooms. I don’t live with my in-laws. After the meeting Mawlana Shaykh Nazim went to sleep for the night in my spare bedroom which is decorated nicely and I use it for guests. I used this room once for Green Shaykh when they came to stay at my house last year. Could you please tell me the meaning of this dream as our beloved master were in our house. I was very very happy to hear this dream from my father-in-law.

Interpretation:

`Alaykum as-Salam,
Mawlana has blessed that room and made it a maqam of his so that by Allah’s permission it will benefit those who pray or rest in it insha-Allah.

Hadra

Question:

Asalaamu Alaykum,

Many people do the hadrah and come out with a sore back or feeling dizzy. There are some that you can see are feeling something. My question is how do we do hadrah correctly, as I do think many people are doing this form of dhikr wrong.

Jazak Allah Khayr, pray for me and my family

Answer:

`Alaykum as-Salam,

May Allah Most High bless you and your family.

The state one obtains from the Hadra is related to the state one brings to it. A broken heart recalling the angels’ perfect submission and remembrance of their Lord around the Throne will be given wings insha-Allah, while a proud soul will be dragged to a lowly level. It is similar to what some hadiths describe as the various experiences of the worshipers according to sincerity: some face Mercy and feel spiritual proximity, others earn not even one-tenth of their prayer’s credit, and only pangs of hunger out of their fasting.

Hadra means “presence,” a reference to the presence of the Divine world such as the angels, the Prophets, the Siddiqs, the Martyrs, and the righteous, and the Divine Throne. Recalling this is meant to obliterate everything else from one’s purview. If that happens then it does not matter if afterwards one experiences soreness as the spiritual gains will take all that away, just as the hadith said, that if you remember the Beloved – the Holy Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) – then your cramp will be taken away. However, taking notice of oneself or others means one is still stuck in dunya.

May Allah Most High forgive us and energize us toward His obedience.

Question:

assalamualaikum necesito si podrian informarme como se realiza el Baitul-Mal en una yamah siendo esto lo que nos manda a hacer nuestro querido maestro mawlana shaikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Muchas gracias

Translation:

As Salamu Aleykum,

I need if you can tell me how can we do the Baitul-Mal in a jammat, following what is ordered for us to do by our beloved Master Maulana Sheikh Nazim al Haqqani. Thank you very much.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

You have 2 options: either make it an official registered charity and call it Baitul-mal; or you can make an unofficial, hanky-panky style one, which I dont like. Then you collect what people give, taking from the rich and giving to the poor, I.e. you take from people sadaqa, charity, whatever they give, count it and put it in a bank account and then later give from it to people in need. You can create an advisory committee of 4-5 trustworthy persons, and based on their advice give the charity out. There is nothing complicated in doing it.

This does not break marriage but in order to resume your life as husband and wife you should seek the assistance of the `Ulema in order to avoid steps that might lead you to divorce.

Is the divorce valid

Question:

Assalamoualaykoum Mowlanah Sheik Hisham and all other shayks

I live in the UK and married a girl in Egypt. I did a civil marriage in the government office in Egypt which required 2 witnesses. This is recognized as being a religious wedding too in that we can live together.

After the civil marriage, I returned to UK and the marriage was not consummated. Due to substantial problems and due to her parents stealing my money, I decided to divorce her.

To avoid going back to Egypt, I decided to divorce her through the courts in the UK. Will this divorce be valid for her in that it is only 1 divorce and is not a divorce according to Islamic rules? What I mean is that I have not given her the 3 talaaqs. Will she be able to re-marry with only a divorce issued by the UK courts?

JazakAllah.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

If the husband divorces his legal wife with whom he has made Nikah but did not consummate the marriage and he says to her, “Upon you is Talaq, Upon you is Talaq, Upon you is Talaq“, in this case, only One Talaq will be valid. By uttering the first Talaq, this woman is out of Nikah and there is no `iddah upon her.
