Dream: Playing Field

Dream:

Assalamoualaikoum,
I saw myself walking. I reached a place where some people are going to play something. I heard that they chose that place to play in, because it is near a graveyard where one can hear one’s dead parent.I liked the place. I saw myself lying on my right side on the ground. A kind of a verge of the grave serves as a pillow. I fell asleep for a while. I realised that some people are around. I stood up; I did not want men to see me lying. When I opened my eyes I saw more men were coming from a mosque towards me/ the place to play. Some women came to watch them. I decided not to stay as a lot of men were gathered. While talking to a woman before leaving, a man greets me while walking. When I turned I am told he is Hakim..

Interpretation:

{It is He Who doth take your souls by night and hath knowledge of all that ye have done by day; by day doth He raise you up again; that a term appointed be fulfilled; in the end unto Him will be your return then will He show you the truth of all that ye did.}( Surat al-An`am, 6:60)

Our shuyukh recommend to remember death daily and to keep the Prophetic sunnah of lying on the right side between the sunnah and fard prayers of fajr.  The Prophet (s) said, “Sleep is the twin brother of death,” and your sleeping on the right side at the grave is a preparation and reminder of your final destination on earth. When you have the Afterlife perspective you have wisdom (hikma), shown by the man, Hakim.  The granddaughter of the Prophet (s), Nafisa at-Tahira (as), dug a grave in her house where she used to pray and read the Quran. It is said that she read the Quran there 6000 times.

Food that’s been offered to the deities

Question:

Assalamualykum,

Is it permissible for us to eat vegetarian food prepared by practicing Hindus, that has been offered to the deities after preparation?

Thank you.

Answer:

`Alaykum as-Salam,
No. The Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) did accept the food or drink of non-Muslims, including other than the People of the Book such as mushriks, as long as they are devoid of meat or alcohol; such as bread, water, milk, condiments; and any votive intent of those non-Muslims, whether known or unknown to the Muslim, is null and void and is not binding upon a Muslim in the least. However, because the partaking of such food appears as a participation in a religious rite and as the endorsement of a certain belief which Islam rejects, then the food is not lawful; i.e. not in itself but because of its context. The eucharist bread, to mention another example, is a mere bread wafer which is in itself halal, but it is patently haram to eat it in the customary context in which it is offered. And Allah knows best.

Women salah in congregation

Question:

Assalaamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu,
Oh beloved ‘Ulama-e-Haqq!
May Allaah Ta’alaa reward you excessively and place you very close to Sultan-ul-Awliyaa Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani!

I have a couple of questions:
1 Can women also join congregational salaah?
2 And could you also explain how we should do this?
3 Is this allowed with all women, or only with mehram women?

I would like to let my sisters join the congregational salaah at home, so they get motivated to also pray salaah on their own, and begin doing Salaah.
JazakAllaahu khairan katheeran!

Answer:

As-Salamu `Alaykum,

Muslim women may join Salat al-Jama`at. The women are permitted to stand behind barriers such as a partition, wall, curtain, etc. and be part of the Salat al-Jama`at. The women are also permitted to have their own Salat al-Jama`at in which a lady Imam can lead -as long as there are only women in the Jama`at. However, she will not stand in front, but will position herself in the center of the first line, and those following her will form the first line by standing by her sides.

Organ Donation

Question:

salam alaikum,
My cousin was having a debate about organ donation, if it is haram or halal.
He says that after you die you cannot feel anything so you are allowed to help others by donating your organs, I have heard that your soul still feels pain that is inflicted on the body after you die. Could you please resolve this issue and correct me if I am wrong. Could you also please give me explanation for this as well.
Thank you

Answer:
As-Salamu `Alaykum,
As far as donating an organ by a living person to another person is concerned, there is no problem in it if it does not entail a serious harm to the donor. (For example, donating one kidney by a person who has another healthy kidney.) The current procedure of organ transplantation is not considered dishonouring a human body. The surgery is performed in the most respectable way and it is not considered to be disrespectful. This is the reason why many highly respected `Ulama of the community regard donating of organs as a mark of merit, and they are not looked down upon.

Prayer Request: Dua for my husband and I

Request:

As-salaamu-alaikum

I am trying to bring my husband to the UK to stay, however I am having much difficulty in doing so due to severe financial problems.  Please make dua that I may be able to call him over here soon,

Also, make dua that we learn to appreciate one another. Sometimes I feel we’ve been put in this situation due to the fact that we used to argue a lot before.

Also, is there anything I could pray to help bring him here soon?

May Allah bless you all.

Response:

`Alaykum as-Salam,
Mawlana Shaykh will pray for you insha-Allah. Recite Rabbiya Allah, Hasbiya Allah 100 times everyday and for greater love 100 times Ya Wadud.

Dream: Reading the Quran

Dream:

In the Name of Allah,
1. I had a dream where I read Surah an Nas, al Falaq, and al Ikhlas three times in all.
2. I had a dream where I read Surah al Balad but just only the first verse.
3. I had that I was flying with pigeons and I could only see the back of my neck and up they were flying all around me mostly on my right side…I look at one that was every close to me and it moved its neck and and I did the same too… I thought to myself how dare I imitate a creature. Then I said Subhanallah.

Interpretation:

Reciting those Surats points to protection here and hereafter and the performance of pilgrimage. Flying points to travel and wealth and pigeons point to the latter.

Black Jubbah Shaykh

Dream:

Assalamualaikum Sayyidi,

I slept and dream of two doors. Right there were many people or murids with turbans. Somehow,  I ended up in the left door, just at the door not too much inside the room. I saw a shaykh in black jubbah. Immediately I cried like a child when I manage to salam and kiss his hands. His feature was a bit like GrandSyakh Abdullah but I can’t confirm anything. There was also someone behind his right shoulder. He pat my back or shoulder and the dream i think ended there ya Sayyidi. My heart yearn for that person and I miss him. Is it possible for me to dua to meet that person again?

Thank you Sayyidi Shaykh Hisham! We miss you too.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

The left door is actually the right door in dunya, from what Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani has explained, spiritual dreams are a reflection from akhira, and as such, it is like looking at the reflection in a mirror, what is right is left and vice versa. So you chose the “right” which means you chose to be servant to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and to follow his Sunnah.
Insha-Allah that was grandshaykh `Abdullah as you thought, and black represents power. That means they are dressing you power to observe the worship required to achieve sainthood in the Most Distinguished Tariqah, so try to do so. Behind his right shoulder must have been Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani.

Insha-Allah Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani is praying for you to meet not only in the dream but in reality.
